Great Job Colin, I do miss my Standard Gauge N Class Locomotives on the Albury line
It would be nice if the N class still ran the Albury. 👍😀
@@driver667 Yes I agree with you Colin 😊
@@vlinenclasstrains 👍😀
Love these older ones thanks mate😊
You're welcome. Glad you enjoy them. 👍😀
Nice to see how things once were, even a relatively short time ago.
@@georgeheilman4243 it doesn't take long for things to change 🤔👍😀
Excellent video
Glad you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
Great video
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀
(singing) Let's do the Time Warp again!
Love the retro paint job on the N Class.
It's just a jump to the left!
*crash!*
Whoops.
@@georgeheilman4243 And then a limp to the right... while trying to stop the bleeding.🤣
4:02 Just passed the dentist's marker! (230 - Tooth Hurtie!) LOL😄
😂👍😀
Easily one of my favorite lines on the vline network. Not sure why but it is quite interesting. Cool video!
Thank you. Very happy you enjoyed it 👍 😀
A bit of vertical quiver in the opening minutes, that's called the *Jelly* Effect. Got to be Jelly 'cause jam don't shake like that!(to quote Benny Hill) LOL😁
Showing your age withat one! 😂😂😂
@@downunderrob LOL😁😁
Didn't know that was a Benny Hill quote.
But I have heard it in an Alabama 3 song, hypo full of love.
Aside: I googled it and it is a song by Glen Miller 1942.
Apologies for going off track😊
@jonnawyatt I'd love to find the clip here, but basically it was Benny as the American actor W.C Fields. He'd sing a song and every time he got to the line, "...a lovely little bell..." a buxom young blonde would shake her boobs. The top she was wearing had bells on it.
Anyway, after the second or third time she does it, he adds as an aside, "It must be Jelly, cause Jam don't shake like that..." 😂😂😂😂😂
Whatever the Origins of the line are, I've always associated it with that sketch. And it's got to be fifty years or more since first aired on Australian TV.
@@jonnawyatt I heard Benny say it once. Wasn't aware of any other occasions of the line's use.
A lot has changed
It certainly has changed over time. 👍😀
4:40 This diesel loco wishes it was a steam loco! It's trying its best to impersonate a steam loco with that *ch-ch-ch-ch-ch* sound! LOL😃
well the diesel Loco turns 40 this year
@@top40researcher31 It won't have enough puff to blow out the candles on its birthday cake!

11:42 Glenrowan...... What's Glen rowin' 'cause I can't see any boat! LOL😁
😀😀👍
@@driver667 @neilforbes416 yes there was a station there but it was closed 4 October 1981
No wonder why the government is bringing more and more VLocity Trains to V/Line there’s not enough room it’s a waste of storage!😕🙁
That track quality... or lack of it rather..
It wasn't good back then. 🤔👍
