That’s a great price for what you ended up with guys, when we did our transit it cost us 5 grand to buy with 125 k on the clock, then rich did all the build cause he’s a carpenter 😁, but by the time we paid for windows and materials it was around 7/8 k. And ours is nowhere near as big and awesome as yours. Still we have traveled all over Europe and this country for the last 10 years. It’s now costing money with welding so we will be starting a new project next year, and your videos have given me lots of delicious ideas so ta boyos 😁😘😘✌️💕

That C1 licence 😳😳😳, wow, glad I got mine by virtue of grey hair 😂. Lovely build, well worth 10K for that size of living space. I’ve a T6 and they are tiny by comparison and cost too much.
Ours cost £16k including the Lorry, you guys did well! We did nearly everything ourselves over 7 months (and the university of UA-cam) so you guys did well with that labour cost. Just to warn you, you never stop tweaking!!! We have spent another £2k on more stuff just this last winter! Can't wait for your next trip!
Aw I can only imagine how long the spending will go on for! 😂 We still are yet to finish Custard, she still needs water heater, a grey water tank and a heater. Not to mention the batteries we will need are looking at around £2k! Congrats on yuour build guys!! Very cool..

Hi Craig and Amy, couple of jokers you are. Just wunna say I recently discovered kinging it and I've been on abit of a binge watch. Your videos are hilarious and just brilliant in every way. Random question, You know the farm you did custard up in, did you know the farmer or was it just a friend of a friend? Me and my misses are starting our build, well we bought a van but the engine might be kapoot so let's see but yeah might need a space to do the conversion as limited time frame to do it on my parents drive and trying to think what to do. Go to Wales perhaps and find a farmer with a shed? 😂 Anyway know your really busy with the puppies in Barca right now. Wow felt so stalkerish saying that. Take care guys and safe travels 💕

Well worth it guys! You did amazing in the time you had and I think it’s wise to get professionals in particular with electrics. Van is worth well over what it cost to build I bet. Custard is stunning with you.
I strongly suggest getting an agreed valuation on her as your insurance would cover you for what she is valued for now converted rather than bus cost. Hope you keep her and love her and make many more memories and videos of your custard adventures😍🚎🚎

Kinging- It try insurers like JustKampers or A-Plan and ask for an agreed Valuation. They insure converter crafters so can’t see why they wouldn’t insure Custart 🤞🏻🚎 good luck both x x

I think doing at speed saves as their are opportunity cost of not working, time is never free, even if you are renting accommodation every month, it's costing something to build the van. Better to work hard and fast. Time is not free.

Loved the van build from the very first one, watch every video, u 2 are just crazy and prefect together. Look at the cost but think of the rewards/memories, you have had loads highs and some lows but well worth it. What are your next adventures ?? Hope we see custard🚌 again soon.

We have the fan above the bed which blows in cool air - apart from that it was pretty toasty in Custar this summer.. we're yet to figure out what to do about it but windows that open would be a good start!! Good luck on your travels!

Hi Aimee, Yes indeed Captain B. All you need here is a regular drivers license. Come on down! Plus you can park her anywhere, no parking restrictions on a van that size .

I think she's cheaper than I thought too - (It's Aimee) but now we've had her on the road for 7 weeks - we can really see what we need - like bigger batteries (the ones we need at like £2k) and a heater for the winter and hot water and a grey water tank and new converter haha the list goes on.. so £10k to start with was good i suppose! 😂
