Custard the bus has been a lengthy conversion - to say the least! She had been through 3 ALMIGHTY renovations with some major upgrades! Now, we finally think she's the perfect bus - come rain or shine she has everything we need for the ultimate off grid trip!
Full equipped with a full bathroom, shower and hot water, our Mercedes Vario 814D has undergone some new renovations include air conditioning set up, a brand new composting toilet (which we've wanted in FOREVER) 5G wifi for working on the road.
This tiny home - custom fitted with a shower and toilet is finally complete.

So sweet of you to take care of Steve. My best friend and mentor is in her last days with terminal cancer so I've bought a plane ticket to go stay with her as long as she needs/wants me there. She's only 58 years old and I'm absolutely heart broken, I can't fathom a world without her in it. I'm so grateful to my husband, son and auntie for making it possible for me to do this. We've had a lot of adventures together and she's lived a full and wonderful life, but it still hurts like crazy to say goodbye.

When going through france get the auto toll passes save Amy a job on the ticket door. You have done a cracking job on the van. One thing...... get as many 12v adapters/cables as you can for your stuff..laptops/alexa/phone chargers/projector/whatever, it saves loads of battery/solar instead of using the invertor and 3 pin 240v plugs. Happy travels :)
In a previous video and this one, I think I heard Morocco. So I believe you’ll be cruising through France, Spain, and Portugal along the way. 🙂 I can’t wait to see!

Nice upgrades for version 3 - but if I have a comment on this, our beloved vans are a work in motion. You will do a version 4 - trust me. Thats vanlife. I spent £800 last week on a Thule awning for my van.

I just love your vlogs. I lost my husband to cancer 2 years ago and we were caravanners. My goal is to get a van or something similar and live ‘our’ dream. At the moment I have a tent but it still brings freedom between shifts. I’m 64 and excited about the future. P.s. late tip: if you put a second cover underneath bike, going up before you put one on top, it will prevent mud, rocks etc from ruining bike while travelling on road.

Hi there from Toronto, Canada. I recently found you folks and love watching your videos. I really feel what you say about trying to make things happen in your life and you have to live it. Amongst many other things I suffer with anxiety and depression and MS. It is extremely hard and I spend a lot of time in a dark pool of depression, but hearing you say the words of live you life, make it happen, etc., it makes me think about the time I have on the planet. Can I do something to make my life more enjoyable.., I wonder. Thanks folks.

That pole by Amy’s seat, you could utilise it and put a swivel table on it, so whilst driving you got table in front of you..for laptop etc.

I'm about to start vanlife and I've been in 2 minds over a 22foot motorhome that is super nice and not an arm n a leg to buy BUT I kept thinking of the many problem I could have with such a large vehicle. Then I remembered you guys and Custard so watched some of your vids and they have given me the confidence that it can be done so thanks peeps
