The Carnifex is also great because of the imagery behind it. A high power, 6 shot pistol you gain in a lawless land from a man with a dark past trying to redeem himself. It’s the big iron of Mass Effect.
It also has a ton of symbolic meaning in ME3, because in most cutscenes that show Shepard wielding a pistol, they will be using a Predator, except in Priority: Tuchanka. At the end of that mission, Shepard is using a Carnifex, so if you choose to kill Morden to stop him from curing the Genophage, you do it with the gun that he gave you when you first met.

In the original ME3 the Executioner was a straight ticket to "Game Over" if you equipped it on Mars since you couldn't shoot 4 bullets in Dr. Eva in time.
The M-96 Mattock is my all-time favorite ME gun for sure, effective at all ranges it can carry any ME2 playthrough regardless of class and in ME3 you can easily get away with packing this beauty and nothing else, which is again excellent for all classes. (but mainly I just have a thing for semi auto) Great video as always!
The Disciple has an increased stagger capability so while it's not doing obscene damage like some other shotties, its perfect for power builds because that stagger lets you set up combos during cooldowns. It's light enough to also roll with the acolyte to burn shields and barriers.
@@nuclearsimian3281 The Piranha is half again as heavy. It's DPS is fantastic and I wouldn't argue that especially in the right hands. For casters the disciple excels at staggering enemies at longer ranges than the piranha could hope to do tho.
The Cerberus Harrier needs a tier of it's own. It so far eclipses any other weapon in the trilogy that it's not even fair to compare it with anything else. Yeah it bleeds ammo like a surgery patient, but that's a necessary nerf to avoid harbinger surrendering instantly. Even in Multiplayer where everything does less damage and is generally worse, the Harrier is still godly. Arguably it's even better in MP because it's 1 weakness doesn't matter with ammo available anywhere. It's truly a monster of a weapon and incredibly satisfying to use.
I got through all my insanity playthroughs never having used the Harrier. It's not that I don't like it. It's just too expensive and I just used my credits upgrading the Black Widow or the Lancer. The Matlock you just pick up in the beginning and effective at every range. There's no reason to use the Harrier if you have a quick trigger finger.
I remember constantly trying to find the Harrier in MP so I could use it. Grinded so hard to get all those weapon packs and still never found it. Now I'm playing Legendary and don't do MP anymore.
@@johncisney15 I feel you. I went through a few months of playing ME3 MP basically all the time and I couldn't get the Harrier for so long. That was the first time I realized how much I hate loot boxes. I even spent a bad amount of time using the Geth Prime missile glitch to speedrun platinum with some friends for a while. It was absurdly rare. But damn was it worth it when I finally got it. Even the Lv 1 Harrier was basically better than any Lv 10 weapon.
Ranking the venom shotgun as anything less than top is a travesty, especially when used on vanguard. If you get aim or at an enemy and then hit your biotic charge it sets you up for an absolutely devastating combo. The shotgun always staggers enemies so you don’t have to worry about insta kills, anything less than a banshee gets obliterated in one hit and it will take out a harvester in 3 hits if you can hit center mass with the main projectile on insanity difficulty.
agree 100%, they havent used venom shotgun long enough if they think its mid tier, you can shoot the ground next to shielded targets and still instantly kill them on the hardest difficulty. god tier for sure
The Cerberus Harrier is God Tier. To me it felt like a straight upgrade over the Mattock, but maybe that's cause I've used the Mattock in almost every playthrough and got a little bored of it lol
Put this gun on an Infiltrator or any Turian character (especially the Ghost Infiltrator) for their natural stability perks & even Atlas’s melt like butter. The bad part is that you have to live near an ammo box
@@GrimReaderas an Mtg player back in the day, it makes my eye twitch when people talk about "meta" in coop, (or even worse, sp, play), since "meta game" was originally about the fact that the best deck/build/gun/whatever was affected by what deck/build/gun/whatever you would be likely facing, which itself was affected by the meta! In coop/sp, there is no meta in that sense.
The Venom needs to be higher. It melts through everything with ridiculous ease. I did the Omega mission as early as possible with that thing, and I had to check several times if I was really playing on Insanity.
Same here. it takes 3 or 4 shots for that thing to kill either an atlas or a banshe and it bassically ignores 2 of the 3 forms of protection enemy’s can have as it seems to ignore Shields and barriers multiple times I had to check if I was on insanity and not on narrative the gun makes the game a cake walk
You know, it's interesting how in the original Mass Effect, the Avenger was pretty much an upgrade to the Lancer, and that role was effectively reversed in 3 with the Lancer's triumphant return, coupled with the Avenger's role as a starter weapon since 2.
It's stated in the Lancer's description in 3 that a master gunsmith tinkered with that specific rifle, so the average Lancer would still be inferior in universe
Justified; unless ya got an ammo power & somebody detonating the primer power, nobody in their right mind takes the Geth SMG for its dmg output. You’re just a poorer version of a turret thats not using a Typhoon
@@Sumblueguy41As an ammo power focused build, though, it is indispensable. I occasionally run it on my Infiltrator with a rotation of heavy snipers if I'm trying to keep my cooldowns low
M-6 Carnifex is Sarens favorite sidearm its also weapon the killed Nihlus RIP. Speaking of Nihlus he leaves the Normandy equipped with a M23 Katana and arrives to confront Saren holding a Avenger. Just something I noticed for a long time.
I remember trying to get the achievement where you beat the arena on the highest difficulty. I really struggled until I used N7 Typhoon. Gave it to 2 squadmates and we were done on the 1st attempt.
The javelin just by itself has a limited see though walls ability scope(which I tend to replace) & limited armor piercing capability. Refined with a better scope & ap muzzle turns this sniper rifle into a deadly workhorse, especially if your team power is amor piercing ammo. The main drawback is a slight power up to fire once you pull the trigger. This delay takes getting used to as sometimes you have to lead a target. Its penetrative abilities are simply amazing, however. I have killed x3 cerberus goons in a single shot to the heads once when they lined up.
I hope the presidents talk about that bug in multiplayer where I think it was the N7 Destoryer could use the rocket with infinite amo. That was beyond fun and such cheese.
Weird take on the Phalanx from the presidential trio. It felt like ass to shoot in ME2, but in ME3 it's smooth as hell. Like a Predator that can actually keep up with mid-game threats. They are 100% right on the Lancer, though. I spent my whole ME3 playthrough lighting enemies on fire and then exploding them with Concussive Shot. The Lancer disrupted that rhythm because a lot of enemies died too fast for me to blow them up. By Priority: Earth, I was smoking Brutes almost as easily as I'd smoked Cannibals in the early game.
The M-97 Viper, M-90 Indra and N7 Piranha are all guns that get a lot of use from me whenever I play the trilogy, but my prized and most used gun has to be the M-7 Lancer. I much prefer the heat sink function on the Lancer in Mass Effect 3 over constantly having to worry about looking for ammo. Have no ammo left? No problem! Just let the gun cool down while you’re in cover. Personally, I prefer to carry around at least 2 or 3 guns per mission so I tend to go for the lighter guns/fully automatics and skip out on using guns like the Black Widow. I just don’t want any gun that heavy slowing down my recharge rate. I use Tech Armor way too much for that.
Before I got the Legendary Edition which came with the bonus weapons included, my standard was the Black Widow, and the Lancer, it is just an amazing gun, it's better than the Avenger in literally every way.
I absolutely agree with you. As a vanguard player I always use m-7 lancer, piranha, and scorpion. All I need are just 3 guns of the best weapons in the game.
Collector SMG was a god tier weapon for power builds in ME3 multi. Slightly DPS than Hurricane and Blood Pack Punisher maybe, but it's so much more stable so it's ability to brrrrr into someone's head or a boss weakspot for a whole clip is amazing. It gets that 50% boost against armor, pretty unique for SMGs. Also infinite clips.
Downsize: its not viable to be a main dmg dealer even on a power user when its a mark1-3 so it needs the upgrades and mag size is still too small even with a Mag Extender. I know thats a duh statement but the RNG Factor for loot boxes in this game is ass beyond ass
@@Sumblueguy41 Too true. That loot system was brutal. Cheat engine exists though. Otherwise yea it could take hundreds of hours to get all the ultra rares to X.
I just discovered this channel and this is sooooo amazing...so much effort into the dialogue and so in-depth. The occasional cuts to show the gun sound was a great idea! Thanks for making this.
The Venom shotgun is God-tier in my book: Works at any range, you can perform sick trick shots that makes cover irrelevant, relatively lightweight and does a shit-ton of damage.
Black Widow and Harrier are harmless peashooters compared to the Venom Shotgun. Especially if you're a vanguard. Charged shot+ charge/nova= everything dies
They should not underestimate the Geth Plasma SMG. It is essentially a super-fast sniper rifle; if it's loaded with ammo skill, it will destroy anyone.
Excellent as always. Was wondering about the Lancer, phalanx, and punisher. Was not disappointed! Also glad the presidents could all agree on the Lancer.
Valiant and Mattock, but especially the Mattock, the only gun you need for a Vanguard Insanity playthrough, just as effective as a shottie up close, but also possessing the ability to decimate foes at range when charge isn't available. Let's be honest, on Insanity powers rule and keeping a 200% cooldown reduction is godly.
They did M29 Incisor dirty. I mean it's both a sniper and assault rifle in one, and takes 2 to 3 shots to kill a target without shields, it deserves more credit. And the ammo capacity it has makes the M29 Incisor OP in my opinion.
The Venom shotgun should've been God tier. Makes Insanity easy as easy diff. Most enemies, even shielded ones like the marauder, die to a single charged shot, because all the extra grenades instantly explode as well, if your charged shot hit the enemy directly. Also can use it to take out enemies behind cover, because you can just shoot at the wall behind them. It stuns enemies so even Brutes can be taken out with like 3 charged shots. The few small downsides are low spare ammo and projectile travel time. But since most Cerberus troops like to roll around, sometimes it's easier to just shoot at their feet. And the charge up time is faster than the reload on the Claymore so I think it clears that gun too.
The Valiant is God Tier, it's only slightly less powerful than the Black Widow, but it completely outclasses it in every other category, Weight, Rate Of Fire, Reload Speed, Recoil, it is easily God Tier.
You forgot the Executioner heavy pistol, it should go in god tier. It's so fun and carried me quite a way on insanity, it's the ability to annihilate the face of just about any standard unit with a single headshot is so fun.
An argument for the Blackstorm is that it locks opponents caught in the blast radius that have armor, shields, or barriers before slowly stripping the protection and when it explodes, most enemies are flung to the wayside as their protection is shredded or are melted, a perfect counter to the swarm of husks that keep blindly charging at you.
@@Hellhound23691 The Dire Wolf - or as I prefer it, Daishi, because when House Kurita names your mech "death" you know it's badass - would be at the top. The Marauder is trash tier by comparison. It's literally just a discount IS version of the Timber Wolf, with half the missiles, half the ballistics, and less armor, that somehow still weighs the same. And don't you even utter the name 'Atlas" aloud. Most overrated mech ever and I can't believe it gets all the box art these days. @@austinm5630 The Marauder is a musuem piece that can and will beat the honor out of any Clan mech that steps out of line. The Marauder remains a favorite of everyone, including Clanners, for a damned good reason. It fucking works and it will continue to smash bad guys, good guys, and orphanages wherever it goes. Though I do agree Skelemech is very overrated.
Something I noticed on my last play through, you might be able to slide this into your excellent writing somehow... Didn't take Garrus on ME1, Shepherd recognizing him in ME2 made sense, but Garrus cites the Noveria mission during the fan service Presidium buddy cop sniper scene
Think Tali talks about the Rachni creeping her out even if you don’t take her in any missions involving them. I always thought it’s implied the others are with you in the lore
If I had to rank all your videos, I think they wouldn't be S-tier or S+ tier. They would be God-tier, on par with our messiah Richard Leroy Jenkins himself. I will now stop praising you and these videos to take a lenghty silent prayer in the name of Jenkins.
Nah bro, the Mattock made it that high on ME2 reputation alone. It got power crept in ME3 just as hard as the Locust, and gets outclassed by other guns quickly. It's still good, but it doesn't deserve to be above top tier in ME3.
My only complaint about the Revenant is that it’s muzzle flash it’s so big you can’t track what you’re shooting at if you mag dump while aiming. It also should give an epilepsy warning if you’re playing in a dim-lit room. Dear goodness. I was like that video of a guy playing CS:GO and getting constantly flashbanged but at 50x speed on loop.
I'm sad to see the Scimitar ranked so low. I have fond memories of playing vanguard and unleashing an absolute firestorm on my enemies, only to biotic charge into them and detonate all the fire primed enemies. I get why others may not like it, but it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Dedicated vanguard players and speed runners absolutely love the scimitar, considering it one of the best weapons period in 2 and 3. I like it a lot myself.
Claymore is really god damn fun. Reload clitching makes it one of my favorites. Also with accuracy mod it's almost like a sniper with headshots because of its massive damage.
I'm right there with you. It's my go to in multiplayer. Sniping armored opponents in one shot from halfway across the map with the alliance infiltrator bot is one of my favorite things in the trilogy.
I'm so happy to find someone else that respects the Kishock. Ever since I started using it on the Legendary Edition, I completely fell in love. Definitely my favorite sniper, and top 5 guns across all weapon classes
The Geth Plasma shotty was my favorite in MP with the Geth Infiltrator who had boosts for Geth guns, even though the tracking was kinda bad if you weren't host.
The M76 Revenant is AMAZING in Multiplayer when you play as the N7 Destroyer with the Destroyer mode and Missiles active. You become a wirlwind of violence and firepower, the only thing you gotta do is take cover and maneuvre so you don't lose your shields to Collector fuckery or Geth Hunters
A little bit of defense for the Indra in ME3, it’s not bad if you’re playing an Infiltrator because of the passive time dilation whenever you ADS. You can get like 10-12 shots off with it before the dilation ends, and once it does just stop aiming and aim again to slow time again. It’s like hitting Adrenaline Rush with an assault rifle without worrying about cooldowns and it’s every time you aim because the Indra is basically an assault rifle with a free scope attachment on it. It can be pretty effective when properly modded and upgraded as an Infiltrator, however I will say it kinda sucks if you’re playing any other class, as you’d be better off just picking an assault rifle. That time dilation is what makes it interesting to use as an Infiltrator, and it’s accessible very early on in the game. But as you progress through the game better options become available.
I can't believe the Reegar got ranked at "Good" tier. It was a literal meme in the ME community that by equipping it with Armor-piercing mods/ammos, you could just delete powerful targets with 0 effort. Even Boss Class enemies would just get eaten alive by this weapon.
Going through all your videos. I don't know who started the AI presidents doing video games things, but no one else has this level of debate and depth. GOAT content
How did you decide on which “voice” and general baseline opinions each president would represent in your videos? Which would you say trends closest to your own? I love that you get a consistent sense of character and motivation that Carries across all your videos. S+ tier writting and videos
Earlier on most of my actual opinions surfaced through Obama, which I'm sure a lot of people could tell. Lately it's been coming through all 3 of them. Essentially, Donald is a hard-line renegade player and Joe is a bleeding heart Paragon. Obama would represent the people who are "Paragade". Which is why he'll be "bipartisan" on topics like Organics vs Synthetics. Most of the time Joe and Donald oppose each other, while Obama mediates. You'll see Obama side with Joe since they're bonded as President and VP, but when Joe is being stupid due to his inexperience with Mass Effect, Obama sides with Donald since he's the more hardcore player.
Wow, the Piranha shotgun is getting borderline disrespected in Mid Tier! Vanguard class can topple any situation with Piranha (close-to-mid range) and Mattock (mid-to-far range), combined with barrier-replenishing Charge & Reave... like an actual whirling dervish of death and bullets
The Crusader was basically my shotgun/sniper rifle in ME3. Loved getting those Cerberus shield guys threw the eye-slit. The M-11 was my pistol of choice, but used the Carnifex long before I played the Citadel DLC. The M-13 Raptor was basically my assault rifle with sniping capability when my ammo is low on the other weapons. Plus its light.
Now I know they didn't talk my M3 Predator. That gun with a heavy barrel and and the power boost mod helped me solo atlas mechs, brutes and banshees. That gun does not belong in the trash tier.
The predator is underrated as all hell fr, lots of people seems to dismiss it because of it's performance very early in the game (before any upgrades, ammo powers etc) and assume it's shit but high fire rate, never ending clips, high accuracy, virtually no weight and the innate armour piercing capabilities of pistols makes it a phenomenal weapon, especially with incendiary/armour piercing ammo, in ME2 is unironically comparable to the Mattock once you get some upgrades for it. Looks pretty and iconic too. I haven't used it in ME3 enough to judge it fairly but in ME2 it's certainly at least B tier bordering on A tier.
Back in multiplayer days Harrier and Rigar evaporated pretty much anything on the map... Beyond God Tier in my opinion, weapon balancing is a bit different in multiplayer though
I resent the Viper and Valiant being so low, especially compared to the Widow sisters. Who said that a sniper rifle has to be a one shot weapon? In ME2 I always prefer the Viper to the Widow, while it obviously doesn't have the same damage potential... it wins in literally every other category. It has a much faster firing rate, more spare ammo (really welcome on insanity), much faster reload, more synergy with all sorts of ammo type (making it ideal for a soldier), it's infinitely more forgiving on misses and it allows to play much more aggressively them the Widow who pretty much forces you to hang back in cover while you pop heads. One shotting mooks can certainly be fun for a while but it slows combat down considerably, while the Viper allows for a much more engaging version of long ranged combat where you unleash suppressive headshots at advancing enemies, limiting their movements and never allowing them a break. In ME3 the Valiant is the ultimate sniper, it works more or less as a slower but juiced up Viper rifle and, again, beats the Widows by sheer reliability taking full advantage of the increased speed of gameplay in this game. It shoots and reloads fast, hits hard enough to one shot most mooks, it's not as heavy (still pretty heavy tough lol) as the BW and, again, mixes wonderfully with all sorts of ammo types because of it's firing rate (I especially suggest cryo ammo, a marksman with good aim turns a Cerberus platoon into a field of harmless snowmen in a matter of seconds). Mod it with the Slow motion thingy ad armour piercing Mod and you basically won the game, it turns insanity difficulty into a breeze. The only real downside is that it's outrageously expensive in the LE, making it a real bitch to get before the Citadel Coup mission. Not to say that the Widows are bad, they are still S tier guns (tough maybe the OG Widow belongs in A tier, way too slow and awkward, however powerful it may be) but to detract faster snipers just for not being as damaging is just dismissing all the advantages these guns provide. The Viper is much better then you might initially think and the Valiant is absolutely Goated, I would choose it over the BW any day.
I'm sorry, but the Venom is God tier. I picked it up on a Vanguard insanity run, having never tried it before. It can 2-shot Banshees. Easily deserves more attention
I loved the Valiant in the original edition of the game absolutly my favorite with how low the recoil was, easy to get all 3 rounds in the weakpoints of enemies and the handling made it perfect for popping heads on the weak enemies. Absolutely hate that in the legendary edition it became the single most expensive gun in the game.
I almost never comment on vids, but this effin deserves it!!! Great job, great analysis, love the humor... dude, what a dedication to create this. Of course depends on your style of playing, things may change and the combination with power, example the geth AR is rubbish, until you mix it with fire amo and maximizes your power, (damage and recharge) of concusive shot (soldier class) because then u can have many explosion burst as you want so for me is a God class only when combined with mods. But dude this vid is amazing
Combining the Geth Plasma Shotgun and Scorpion as Vanguard was fun. Shotgun and Biotics for pretty much anything with Scorpion coming out to sting turrets and mechs. Also a little thrill for popping a Pulled enemy with a little grenade and walking past them to explode and die as i move past them.
Reegar is actually G tier, and with any element becomes completely broken. Not even the mighty PPR,Typhoon, Piranha or Hurricane could manage .3 second TTK, even on phantoms. With Warp or Incend IV it was just hee haw broken.
The Venom shotgun is god tier minimum. The damage out put is insane and can kill even heavy enemies with 2 or 3 shots, combined with the crowd control provided by the AOE nothing will survive. On top of that you have the ability to bank shots hitting enemies hiding in cover. With all these powerful features in 1 there is a strong case for the venom shotgun to be the best gun in M3

34:15 "This is the gun that's a major component in helping Garrus ascend to godhood."
I love that reference.
The M-96 Mattock is my all-time favorite ME gun for sure, effective at all ranges it can carry any ME2 playthrough regardless of class and in ME3 you can easily get away with packing this beauty and nothing else, which is again excellent for all classes.
(but mainly I just have a thing for semi auto)
Great video as always!
The Cerberus Harrier based on the Mattock is a great gun too
@@MonoKrohm_2020Automatic Mattock for the win.
Falcon grenade rifle. Ultimate bounce headshot.
@@clintbeastwood5116 can’t beat it man, powerful and accurate fire every time
Yep, the paid DLC weapon advantage.
I need the S tier weapons to get me through the spectre level enemies on insanity. Thank you Prime. Love the vids keep it up
The Disciple has an increased stagger capability so while it's not doing obscene damage like some other shotties, its perfect for power builds because that stagger lets you set up combos during cooldowns. It's light enough to also roll with the acolyte to burn shields and barriers.
It is definitely and underrated shotgun. It also sends anything killed by it flying backwards as if you hit them with max level throw.
So what, N7 Piranha is just as light, does 1.8x the damage, better against armor, and more reserve ammo.
If it weren’t for the higher weight and the limited capacity compared to the Lancer, I’d use the Harrier 24/7. Insanely strong.
Falcon grenade rifle.
Best gun indeed
@@BSoDexeI think you mean best combo.
agree 100%, they havent used venom shotgun long enough if they think its mid tier, you can shoot the ground next to shielded targets and still instantly kill them on the hardest difficulty. god tier for sure
Exactly. The Venom makes Insanity a cake walk.
@@Cheepchipsable no its the best gun in the game.
38:05 is why Big B flubbed his shots, the Cain remembers the disrespect.
The bad part is that you have to live near an ammo box
exactly the harrier is what the mattock wished it was
@@Sumblueguy41 exactly. Or have a buddy play as an N7 Demolisher so they can be a mobile ammo box
Yeah I kinda play each one the exact same way but playing META gets boring so I try and theme the weapons to characters
Playing on insanity now too and yeah the venom is insane
I just wanted to thank you for all the great moments.
Donald always has w takes, the single fact that Joe doesn't like the black widow means I'm voting Trump
Thank you for including sound effects! Mass Effect 3 really outdid itself in that departement.
Done the geth SMG dirty. It has like 0 weight if you put ultra light materials on and it is insanely accurate.
Let's not forget that it's also a fire hose. Spits 100 rounds in seconds lol
They weren't included mods in the rankings
It's good tier imo. The charge-up time is annoying.
M-6 Carnifex is Sarens favorite sidearm its also weapon the killed Nihlus RIP. Speaking of Nihlus he leaves the Normandy equipped with a M23 Katana and arrives to confront Saren holding a Avenger. Just something I noticed for a long time.
Weapons in cutscenes are very inconsistent across the whole trilogy, so Nihlus isn't surprising in this regard.
I remember trying to get the achievement where you beat the arena on the highest difficulty. I really struggled until I used N7 Typhoon. Gave it to 2 squadmates and we were done on the 1st attempt.
Bro the Typhoon is insane in the hands of squadmates.
@@JAYDOG1337Aif they feeling good today(seriously these mfs always shooting at walls and shit)
I think Garrus and James were up to it
The Cain comes in handy during the Arrival Dlc towards the end where everyone is swarming you.
Venom is god tier. Removes half the challenge of an insanity play through with charged shots.
That was beyond fun and such cheese.
the rocket glitch was patched out of the pc version, and any class could do it.
Just maxed out the Lancer and it's solid!
1:15 that aim for the head comment hits a little differently now
Black Widow and Harrier are harmless peashooters compared to the Venom Shotgun. Especially if you're a vanguard.
Charged shot+ charge/nova= everything dies
Donald Trump not being a fan of Cerberus? "Humanity first!" should appeal to him xD
They should not underestimate the Geth Plasma SMG. It is essentially a super-fast sniper rifle; if it's loaded with ammo skill, it will destroy anyone.
I'm sure it's already been said, but I'd love to see a multiplayer class list for ME3
These are my favorite versions of the AI presidents. Would love to hear them yap about other Videogame series especially Cyberpunk
The venom shotgun is THE most underrated guns. It absolutely wrecks tits at any range.
These videos is Healing ASMR for my soul. Bless you
Particle Rifle aka The Kamehameha gun
I remember the Phalanx was deemed so good in ME3 multiplayer that they nerfed it.
Someone should make an AI tier list for mechs of the Mechwarrior franchise.
God yes
Oh fuck yes! Please!
Why so the Marauder can be at the top?
@@Hellhound23691 The Dire Wolf - or as I prefer it, Daishi, because when House Kurita names your mech "death" you know it's badass - would be at the top. The Marauder is trash tier by comparison. It's literally just a discount IS version of the Timber Wolf, with half the missiles, half the ballistics, and less armor, that somehow still weighs the same.
And don't you even utter the name 'Atlas" aloud. Most overrated mech ever and I can't believe it gets all the box art these days. Give me a dual PPC Adder and I'll annihilate any Atlas, regardless of loadout or pilot, in any game under any rule set.
@@austinm5630 The Marauder is a musuem piece that can and will beat the honor out of any Clan mech that steps out of line. Dire Wolf has it beat in firepower, but tell me that duel PPCs and an AC aren’t enough to kill any mech in the setting.

@@klawschafer7425 You're right, I'd forgotten about that one
If I had to rank all your videos, I think they wouldn't be S-tier or S+ tier.
They would be God-tier, on par with our messiah Richard Leroy Jenkins himself.
I will now stop praising you and these videos to take a lenghty silent prayer in the name of Jenkins.
Nah bro, the Mattock made it that high on ME2 reputation alone. It got power crept in ME3 just as hard as the Locust, and gets outclassed by other guns quickly. It's still good, but it doesn't deserve to be above top tier in ME3.
The locust really got fucked in me3
My only complaint about the Revenant is that it’s muzzle flash it’s so big you can’t track what you’re shooting at if you mag dump while aiming.
It's my fave gun in all the shooters I've played 🥹
Claymore is really god damn fun. Reload clitching makes it one of my favorites. Also with accuracy mod it's almost like a sniper with headshots because of its massive damage.
I'm right there with you. It's my go to in multiplayer. Sniping armored opponents in one shot from halfway across the map with the alliance infiltrator bot is one of my favorite things in the trilogy.
I'm so happy to find someone else that respects the Kishock. Ever since I started using it on the Legendary Edition, I completely fell in love. Definitely my favorite sniper, and top 5 guns across all weapon classes
Now I adore the Mattock but there's no world in which the Harrier isn't the GOAT Cerberus rifle
Hear me out
The Revenant at close range as a clearing weapon utterly slaps. No shotgun can compare with its volume of fire. It’s a bullet hose
"If you come at me your better aim for the head." Oh this aged gracefully. 😂
The Geth Plasma shotty was my favorite in MP with the Geth Infiltrator who had boosts for Geth guns, even though the tracking was kinda bad if you weren't host.
Avenger gets the job done, if the job is missing half your shots and running out of ammo.
You need to do one where each president talks about each class and why they like or hate each class
The thing I find funniest about this video is that it's the ONLY one on this platform that actually went through and rated the weapons in this game.
But as you progress through the game better options become available.
the absolute lack of any damage whatsoever is no defense at all.
and if I'm playing infiltrator, there are so many better options to go with.
I can't believe the Reegar got ranked at "Good" tier.
It was a literal meme in the ME community that by equipping it with Armor-piercing mods/ammos, you could just delete powerful targets with 0 effort. Even Boss Class enemies would just get eaten alive by this weapon.
They weren't taking mods into consideration when ranking, they said so at the start.
Cannot believe I was a day late for this work of art.
There's something sublime about this series having a running gag about being stuck on the Grissom Academy shootout.
The Reegar Carbine may be mid but it is a death ray in the multiplayer with the right set up. The N7 Typhoon is for all the Rambo larpers and badasses
When is "Mass Effect Characters Rank US Presidents from 2008-Present" coming out? The world needs answers!
Never. Because cringe
This needs millions of views. Been watching mass effect ranks since for 4 weeks now. This is amazing.
This is probably the most entertaining tier list I've ever heard. With actual legit debate, this was great.
1:14 This aged like milk. 😢
Bonus powers in the trilogy tier list coming 😂?
32:52 “just because the gun can’t say no doesn’t mean it consents” I positively DIED at this hahaha
Aw i love how you referenced "Garrus ascends to godhood" when talking about the typhoon, that's immediately what I thought when this gun came up
I almost never comment on vids, but this effin deserves it!!!
It just dawned on me most of the shotguns were named after swords.
woah
Combining the Geth Plasma Shotgun and Scorpion as Vanguard was fun. Shotgun and Biotics for pretty much anything with Scorpion coming out to sting turrets and mechs. Also a little thrill for popping a Pulled enemy with a little grenade and walking past them to explode and die as i move past them.
Try the Venom Shotgun with incendiary ammo.
Reegar is actually G tier, and with any element becomes completely broken. Not even the mighty PPR,Typhoon, Piranha or Hurricane could manage .3 second TTK, even on phantoms. With Warp or Incend IV it was just hee haw broken.
This guy made 40 minutes of content with this?
I’m not even mad, I’m impressed
Imagine talking about ME3 guns but only as they relate to the single player XD
The Venom shotgun is god tier minimum. The damage out put is insane and can kill even heavy enemies with 2 or 3 shots, combined with the crowd control provided by the AOE nothing will survive. On top of that you have the ability to bank shots hitting enemies hiding in cover. With all these powerful features in 1 there is a strong case for the venom shotgun to be the best gun in M3
Harrier got cheated out of God-tier. The Harrier would make any Cerberus hater reconsider their position on the organization that built it.
