Alien is truly a keystone movie. This term is based on "keystone species", meaning a species that is so important to the surrounding ecosystem that, if they were to die off, the whole thing would collapse.
Without Alien, a LOT of iconic movies would've never been made.
Not to mention how much Aliens influenced the design choices in Halo.

For the first movie, I remember watching an interview where Signourey Weaver said that they knew what was gonna happen. What they did not know was how it was gonna happen, they did not expect it to be so gory.

The reason for the predators struggling in AVP 1 is because the humans messed up the ritual. Its essentially a ritual for teen preds to graduate into adulthood. None of them has ever fought a xenomorph before. If the ritual had worked correctly then the three preds would have started with their plasmaguns and only 8 xenomorphs. The humans started the whole process to early and left the unblooded preds unprepared and underarmed

I’m glad that the game, Aliens: Colonial Marines at least retconned Hicks death so not every character from 2 got stuck with a crappy fate. I still feel horrible for Newt though. To survive all that trauma in Aliens and she just ends up drowning in her cryotube anyway.
Aliens CM was decanonized years ago. Which I'm a bit upset about, because I would've liked if Hicks was still out there.
I love these longer videos but I can only imagine the content creator having a difficult time making and editing these for our amusement.

Terminator tier list would be hilarious
Honorable mention goes to Alien Isolation. A great survival game with enough enemy variety to be fun, very unique mechanics, insane details and sounds the devs took very seriously to recreate, and a nice bridge between the first 2 movies. They were some great moments like Waits ejecting the Alien with Ripley still in the station module, Samuels the MVP beating up synthetics and sacrificing himself, destroying Sevastopol, and the rest of the game with exploring the Alien nest and the reactor core having to avoid synthetics. They were also some cool little things like Ripley’s Sr message to Ripley Jr and the fact that there really was an Alien queen on the station but the devs wanted to stick to the stealth and not include a big alien fight
That's a video game, not a movie. They'll be doing games next time, and I'm looking forward to it.

Other people have already mentioned it but the scale of this video is impressive, the fact that you not only reached 1.5 hours but also kept it entertaining throughout is awesome. Little correction for Alien 4: Sigourney didn't want the basket ball to go in with CGI, so she tried that shot almost a hundred times and forced the studio to spend almost a full day recording that scene, much to everyone else's exhasperation.

Predator 1&2, including the first AvP movie are my favorites. Predators was an pretty good attempt to bring life back into the movie side of the franchise. But genuinely if the fat cats in Hollywood had got off their asses and did a little digging into what was working in the other parts of the fandom, they would have found an entire treasure trove of amazing comics, games, and spin offs that do a much better job at explaining the convoluted lore than the current crop of writers ever could
