Restitched is essentially an Indie created LBP game for PC that combines familar and new mechanics to create something entirely new. It's charming, adorable, handcrafted 2.5D UGC platformer by the talented Trixel Creative team starring the lovable Sackboy-esque character, Stuffy.
Stuffy is a plush bear who loves to play dress-up and go on adventures.
With the ability to run, jump, grab, and build, Stuffy is the perfect companion for a handcrafted adventure.

@@LezzSamurai You can make some money from someone else's ip as long as he's okay with that. Sony wasn't okay with that. It was their decision, nobody forced them to take it down.
@@RZonYT assuming you asked, because no one would allow that other and that's why they were forced to stop otherwise face legal action; had they not made money from it at all they would have been ok but there's still Grey areas where they could have still taken it down anyways
@@LBPLIVE64 yeah but they were still making money from it in the form of donations with the intention to make the game widely available despite not asking which is a which is kind of a big deal with these kinds of things
The trouble with stuffy is that I can't imagine he's as customisable as sackboy. Sackboy could be anyone you wanted but this bear will probably always be a bear.
Maybe you can change the head shape or body shape?
@@Acelustrous I watched the video and it seems like you can get other animal cosmetics. Maybe there will be one which is more of a blank slate for people to make their own costumes.
if that's the sacrifice for having LBP on pc, i'll take it.

Also Sony: Potentially takes it down again when they claimed it copies LBP.
The difference is that it’s only a bear this time than the Sack. There’s no way Sony would take it down if the gameplay is copied. This could be a successor or go back playing Dreams.
@@derpbart6290 I like the idea of only changing the characters this time. The gameplay still probably stays very true LBP, the only difference being the characters, and name. And that's all I could really see changing.

The storymode was good but way too short
All of the new dlc was good
The new characters and 16 layers were fantastic
I think the only issues with lbp3 are the glitches and the storymode being too short
Also they got rushed by Sony so it’s not their faults it was so glitchy
Although they never fixed the glitches
@@mike.delia26 Sony destroyed LBP3, not Sumo Digital. They made the classic mistake of rushing the release to get it out by the holiday season, regardless if the game was ready yet.
If they gave Sumo Digital more development time and had the game launch without all the plethora of game-breaking issues and poor optimization it had on day-1, I'd say it would've been better than the second game. It had a much more expanded suite of creative mode tools that would've been fantastic to use.
If only the game could handle using them at the time.
@@Dxpress_ But LBP3 is STILL a broken mess. Sumo could've at least fixed game breaking bugs after the game was released.

Honestly, I trust a team of community builders far more than I trust Sumo Digital. They never really captured the charm and creativity of the first two games, and I'm hesitant to see how Sackboy's Big Adventure turns out, but I'm wholeheartedly looking forward to Restitched.

This video got me interested in and introduced me to Restitched, and now I'm part of the team :)
Sackboy is the cutest character through the LBP series. And now we have an adorable teddy bear named Stuffy where he can be a cute dragon or wolf. Or both as a hybrid.

With mods on top of the vanilla user created content, it seems that the sky is the limit.
I dont think there going to do mods but they are going to have levels that you could download like how you can download custom levels in stickfight with the workshop
I asked Trixel Creative if there would be controller support, they said yes, I was overall very happy
Edit: just finished the video and realized he already brought up controller support

the character from restitched looks like a mix of Sackboy and Naughty Bear except they dont kill an entire island of bears..................probably

for my LittleBigPlanet fangame, I'm striving for a similar target of it running on weaker hardware, but without sacrificing graphic fidelity by optimizing it as much as possible and adding a 30fps lock for those who have thermal or framerate stability issues with their device, and also setting up a website also requires a server :v

by using a 30 FPS lock for the sake of optimization, you run the risk of bottle necking and causing overheating. think about it. you're basically limiting the CPU or GPU to run at a certain speed that they wouldn't be capable of otherwise
not trying to bash, i really like the idea. but you might need to take that into consideration

I hope it broadens on the concept of LBP. More items and expressions for your stuffed person, kinda like in Animal Crossing NH.
There's only so much one can express with Sad, Happy, Fear, and Anger. A tool that hold a variety of emotions would be dope.
(They can even call it 'the moodboard' and have it designed like cardboard or something as a joke.)

If they're using the STEAM SDK they can just use Steam Workshop to host levels. It'd be even easier than LBP.
It will most likely be free because of restitched kinda being like a predesesor from little big planet, I am pretty sure they even got permission from little big planet to create this game. At least that's what I heard, but I'm excited for this project either way!
