56’ 57’ “whatever it takes...” please tell me you got that from Michael Keaton in Multiplicity!?! That was a deep cut there. I Subscribed even if you have no idea what I’m talking about.
I have this pedal and run it with a TH30. I've been trying to find the best way to run it, in front or fx loop, to achieve what I'm looking for. This video is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you!
Please, where do you insert it ? front of the amp or in the loop ? In the first solution i a a terrible hum, and in the second, the effect is transparent except to increase the volume (playing with a TH30 too).
@@cojonesgun I have mine run in the front of the amp now. I had it in the fx loop but to me it was too "powerful" there. I'm only using it as an eq and to hit the tubes a little to drive them a bit harder. In the front of the amp, I find it does a better job of that.
@@cojonesgun I guess it may depend on what you're looking to get out of the pedal. Are you looking to use it more for an EQ or a boost, as in volume boost for solos?
@@scottperrin9655 thank you for the informations. I want to push the tubes to get a little more gain without use an overdrive that would taint the guitar sound (i love Orange natural distorsion). I used to use BK Warpip pickups, but i juste changed for Black Dog set (powerful PAF-ish tune). Warpigs deliver too much output for me, but Black Dog would need à little more gain. In front of the TH30, the Two Stroke is ok for what i am looking for but make too much noise (even if not activated), and in the loop, i do not notice enough gain increasing. Si i wonder if i did not a mistake buying this pedal...
@@cojonesgun you're welcome! Well, once I started running it in the front of the amp it definitely hits the tubes for a little more drive but I haven't noticed noise. I also use noise suppressor so it cleans up any noise. Do you use a noise suppressor?
Nice demo, and thanks for posting.
Could you stack this with Fuzz? and if so, would you recommend putting it in front of / or after the fuzz?
Nice playing man. You should review the OR15. Thinkin' bout getting one
Alejandro Pelayo that's one of my favorite Orange amps.

You are correct. Thanks for watching.

Jesus.. works in a studio and has no idea how a parametric EQ works? Incredible
