Hello Annie, my friend was a true crime bestie and follower of yours. She was murdered brutally by her husband while her kids were in the house in October. They still have yet to find him. Please look up Breanne Pennington’s story and give her a voice. She left 4 small children behind and she is a terrible loss to those who were lucky to know her.

Hello Annie...I was a firefighter with the City of Richmond at the time this happened. I was 1 of 7 females in the department. I luckily wasn't on the day this happened another shift was. A female co worker was the one who carried the little girl out. Thank you for recognizing the bravery of all F.F's! This was very traumatizing for her because since it was a crime scene and physically touched a body she had to relive it in court or questioning over & over. I had heard that the females were S.A.'d but I didn't hear u mention that so it may not be true? Thanks for doing this case it an awesome job!

I watched an “I survived” episode once and it was a similar situation. The husband and wife had watched some true crime episode and had a conversation that if they were ever in a hostage situation that one of them would cause a distraction and the other should run. The husband ended up causing the distraction and the wife ran from the house to get help. She ended up saving the entire family. She said leaving her kids and husband was one of the hardest things she ever had to do but that had she not they all would have died. It’s a tough conversation to have with your partner/family but it could end up saving your lives.

We were married 23 years, so 23 years of hearing about all his cases…counter foreign intelligence, espionage, murder. I’ve always been around “true crime” in my personal life while married. You do the same things these Agents do. Gather the facts then tell the story…in my husband’s case he told the stories in a courtroom, you here on UA-cam. Keep up telling your stories, we love listening💖

My husband was a firefighter and when they had the opportunity to use buildings that were vacant or to be torn down, the owners would allow them to train there because if it’s always done at their training tower, they know the layout. When I was part of a group that sold a local high rise apartment complex, we let both fire and police train in the building and test out equipment. I remember my husband would say that you had to remember your route in to get out when visibility is none existent.

Hi!! I never comment on videos but I currently live in RVA as a VCU student and love World of Mirth! I’ve never heard of this case before and it’s so incredibly sad. Richmond is a scary place sometimes. A couple years ago a man who lived in the Fan was arrested for ~abusing~ over 100 women while capturing it all on video and in photos. Wild.
Also thank you so much for your great content and highlighting victims’ stories. You rock!
Edit: I was dumb and got the above numbers wrong. He stalked and attacked seven women and received 87 years - to be served consecutively to a **127 year sentence for previously attacking three other women. His name is Justin Harvey.

This is SUCH a STUPID crime too, everyone who has even a little understanding of how things just are, knows that there's still a decent amount of racism baked-in to our society, and CJ system apparently.
Any street-level criminal very intimately understands that not all violent crimes are made equal, that you can maybe slide and evade responsibility if you harm or ☠️ people that cops aren't as likely to feel for, where if you take out a white family, mom and daughter, these are people they will pull out all the stops in searching to find the killers of.
Not to say any of that is right or good, just that it is the reality of he situation, and most who have some business knowing, know.
Just begging fate so badly to do this, inviting the entire police force to search and search and search til you're found.

You think the Firefighters are brave, I must agree it takes someone special to do that job. But I was 6 years old and our house caught fire and I was in the bath. But the rest of my family made it out and I was trapped inside. I was yelling out the window for help. Finally a Firefighter yells back and tells everyone to SHUT-UP. He then tells me to get back in the bathtub and go under the water as long as I can then come up take a breath and repeat . He promised to come get me and we could go get an ice cream cone. I t was a grease fire and my oldest sister was fire throw water on it. The BIGGEST PROBLEM with that it THROWS FLAME EVERYWHERE. I made it out with no issues.

I don’t answer the door if I don’t know who it is. My husband traveled all week and was home on weekends. Up until Covid & now is only gone about seven days a month. I still don’t open doors to people I don’t know. If he’s home. And I sure don’t open my door after it gets dark. I might watch to many crime shows. But I would rather be safe than sorry. Thank you Annie, because since I've been watching you, I have learned such a lot about criminal minds. I used to be baffled by these evil people but now I understand that they have a totally different mindset from people like us who can't bear violence. For example, a lot of these criminals don't have the capacity to think through the consequences of their actions. if they had that capacity, I'm pretty sure that many crimes could be prevented in the first place. Many have had terrible upbringings but that is never an excuse because so many people do have awful childhoods but become good adults.
I shall continue to ponder on the criminal mind and be armed with information to look out for the red flags!

My heart goes out to the mama who dropped the oldest daughter off at the house. She has to live with that hindsight for the rest of her life, and that must be horrible! A lesson I got out of this is, If somebody ever makes a sign or gives you an indication of something weird, no matter how silly it seems, please call the police and have a welfare check done. And i'm going to throw this out there, too. If the parents would have owned a firearm and they both were trained to use it, this could have been stopped. She went up to retrieve her daughter and she could have grabbed their weapon and defended her family. 😢

I think Ashley used to babysit for the Harveys until she had that drug charge and they let her go and she gave the guys their adress so if they were never kind to hire her...they might be alive. In addition, Wiki used to have this case between killing his wife and the Harveys where I think the 3 asked to use the phone and they strangled another lady in Virginia. I can't find it so maybe it was proven not to be them. In addition the one guy gave an extensive interview to some guy explaining what they were thinking during the Harvey invasion. I was surprised he said they decided to kill them because they didn't bring their masks. I learned new things from your presentation. You are the best story teller ever!

Hi Annie thank you so much for taking of your time to research out and cover the reports on these vicious, senseless and painful cases. It's very difficult to hear the content and the details of what the victims went through in their final moments but it's important to know the facts so that their voices can and are heard.
The cowards that defile and commit these types of crimes strip themselves of all their humanity by their own choices and actions giving up their rights of any human existence. It's not as if they are going to serve time and come back into the populous to be outstanding citizens of the community in fact many times they are repeating offenders....it is our incessant need to wash ourselves of guilt and blame that drive us beyond reason to persist on giving them a better quality of life while they live out their sentences and you can believe that they count on our weaknesses....all the while their innocent victims didn't get that level of compassion, empathy, mercy, humanity awarded to them... to me the perpetuators of these types of crimes are simply cowards and I don't regard them any longer as human beings..
