If you had lived in that era you would have experienced the vibe in the air. It was a fantastic time to be alive. A musical revolution was taking place and music and dancing was the order of the day. There was so much raw talent that competed against each other to get on the music charts. We were the recipients of that competition. I had done two tours in Vietnam during the late 60's and 70's. When I came back and had seen the change in the culture, like music and style I didn't hesitate to jump right in and let my hair grow and join a local rock band. We didn't go anywhere. We didn't care, as long as we could jam! You would have fit right in Ace. 😁😁😁😁
I salute you, Brother for your service. I served in the army early 80s and worked alongside some Vietnam vets. Have a special respect for Y’all. May I ask what branch were you in?
Felix Cavaliere is one of the greatest singers ever. Very many good songs: Ive been Lonely too Long, People gotta be Free, A Girl Like You, Good Lovin( their biggest hit) also great cover of Wilson Picketts In the Midnight Hour. They actually shared the same recording studio, Atlantic Records. One of my favorite groups ever. They got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame surely deserved it.
I can remember hiking with some friends in the Summer of 1967 and fell. We all started laughing and we end up signing this chorus. Those were the days!
A Beautiful Morning" waswritten by Felix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati and recorded by the Rascals. Released in early 1968, it was the group's first track released after shortening their name from the Young Rascals.
I love this 60s Classic Rock Band probably more than any other from that era. So much soul, and just great music came from these guys. Great music of my childhood back in the mid to late 60s. What a time for music.
This is a really sweet pop song by The Rascals but I truly wish that you had chosen their other hit called, How Can I Be Sure and it's just the melody in that is so haunting. It's such an interesting song. I loved that one so much that I made my own lyric video out of it.
It’s a beautiful morning, I think I’ll go outside a while, and just smile. What a great opening line

It’s a beautiful morning, Ace. Go outside for awhile and smile. Enjoy life.
Most of psychedelia back in the day made people happy.
This song has a very Motown vibe.... 🎶🎶
Oh the variety of music we had was the best 💖‼️
Still touring. Saw them last year!
LOVE THIS SONG, MAKES ME SMILE!
This is when everyone was outside in the 60s and 70s🎉
OOOOOooo... beautiful song! Love it!
I loved The Young Rascals, owned some single 45’s❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
The rascals were a great band ❤
Love this song, haven't heard in a long time
Felix cavalier lead here.
I believe they use this in certain commercials
I thought I was the only one who thought most of today’s music was boring and depressing. I feel better knowing someone else feels the same way.
Love love the Rascals. This one is my favorite but they have quite a few big hits like Cruising , people just got to be free etc
🙏♥️🔥🇺🇸
