Dan put an inline 12 volt fuse on your beep-beep horn and all you have to do is change the fuse. Red to power and black to ground. Those mineral blocks that I was telling you about for the horses are good for their bones and joints. I was up in the North Cascades last weekend with a horse pack train working on some high mountain lake camp sites. Safe travels to you. Retire soon you have a good life. Dave
Dan they say never expose the buckles so if the trailer accidentally rub an object such as concrete pillars it won't come unattached. Love your video...
Hey there, yes I took my screen protector off, what a pain. I'll just deal with the little scratches if there are some. Have a good day driver. Be safe.
SuperTruckerDan Honestly, how is Mercer too run for?? We we're with Landstar in 2014 and it wasn't real good we sold the truck in 2015 and toying with buying a new one...
+John Capone Mercer is easy to haul for. You can run your truck the way you want to. Where you want to. I've never had a problem getting paid. Like any other place there is good freight and bad freight but they have freight. The last couple of months rates have come up. There is no good old boy system at Mercer it's first empty first loaded. I'm not getting rich but I do OK.
Really enjoy your channel, Dan. Used to drive until I messed up my leg badly in an accident and like going along for the ride. Keep it between the ditches and drive safely, buddy.
Good job Dan. You give a Master's degree in strapping with that micro wave tower. Flatbedding is the greatest, while heading for the hammock on the porch.
Hey Dan, I really enjoy your videos. Being an ex flatbedder myself I know sometimes your load developes a mind of its own and you need to babysit the whole way. Be safe my friend!
i remember south of Lamar, Colorado on highway US-287 when flatbed drivers were hauling the parts for the wind turbines, for the wind farms. a flatbed could only haul 1 blade, plus parts.
That looks like alphalpha, that must cost you a fortune. I pay 30dollars a bale for it and I live where it is grown cheaply. I give my horses a mineral block and they really enjoy it. Safe travels Dan. Dave.
DAN, I HAD THE SAME SAMSUNG, AFTER SWITCHING FROM A LG,,, MY GOG! YA NEEDED PUNCHING GLOVES!!!!!!!!!!!! SO I TOOK THE SCREEN SAVOR OFF, AS SOUNDS LIKE DID! GOOD LUCK,,
I used to use my pipe stakes and use the straps to pull the product against the pipe stakes. And then one across the top of the product. If that makes any sense. lol Be safe out there.
Well if that was cold roll steel, that stuff is hard to get to stay put,a couple o belly straps would work great. That Swift gave you a Dustin but you got him back👍👍🤗🤗
I think that I would have loaded the big pipe either right up at the front or right at the back of the trailer (maybe even overhang it a little) and then put those small pipes at the end of the trailer, with the pallet,so that I could get a hold of the small pipes properly, with the ratchet straps. Could have even put a small tarp over the small pipes that way....stop them escaping ! Be safe,Dan.... :-)
Go to a wrecking yard and get a horn off an older ford pickup. they will last forever. put a second one on my pickup that i pull horses with that way. been there 20 years. This is assuming that it runs on 12 volts.
Dan the man! Did I see you today on I 20 going east say around Weatherford Tx? I was Westerly bound back to AZ.Good job on the video btw. Looked like a difficult load.
+Jerry Coggin No that wasn't me. I cut up hwy 54 to i40 There were four trucks that loaded these tower sections. You might have seen one of them Thanks for watching
have you ever ring strapped any pipe ... you put strap on trailer bed load pipe or what ever then strap goes back over .. ander strap then back over again holds down real tight and it don't move
Hahaa...those dogs are gonna get flattened,if they're not careful ! Don't you get annoyed with 'em, Dan ?? Also,I know one dog is Kallie.....what's the other called, please ?
really enjoy watching your videos on your apu i seen one made by go green apu out of altoona pa they look just like yours so if you need parts might look at them keep the wheels turning
STD is that grass hay? alfalfa is the only kind of hay i know, but lately, or while i was driving i saw a lot of loads with grass hay. my uncle use to haul alfalfa hay to Canada, but that was a long time ago, when i was a kid, in the 1950's
i read up on it, and it says alfalfa for horses is like steak for humans. its too rich in some nutrients for horses, and that the Bermuda or any form of grass hay is better for horses, they don't need so many nutrients, but "steak" once a month isn't bad. :)
Hi dan I’m from New England , north east think about to be owner op what is you advice is not a lot flatbed dow here TMC is here as well I think still have a room for I appreciate your commentsThank you
Why do you keep that old banged up ford around when you have a new dodge and numerous trailers OR, won't the wife leave you drive the new Dodge, LoL? Is a shame Cali dog couldn't go to lunch with you and your wife, LoL.
Yeah I know it is, but can't the dodge do what the ford does thus one less set of tags, inspection and insurance? Also last time you drove the old ranch truck you went out to breakfast in it then to Benson which thought that was weird since you have a nice dodge, mustang, and jeep, LOL
Dan put an inline 12 volt fuse on your beep-beep horn and all you have to do is change the fuse. Red to power and black to ground. I wish I was there to help lift those bales. Brings true meaning to the "we". I've done my fair share of stacking hay. Really good workout.
You dogs are helping out a lot though
From what I read the S8 is a good phone. I jumped from a S4 to an S7. I don't like screen protectors in general.
