Thank you for posting your videos. Just did a career change and got my class 1 and was always interested in going towards flat deck and heavy haul. You are an amazing source of information on load securement and lifestyle of the none grungy vaping truckers that seem to make the bulk of videos these days. Drive safe o7
Good job backing Dan...backing into tight spots like that is what separates the "steering wheel holder" from the REAL truck driver (professional). These company trained drivers, like Swift and most schools do not spend enough time teaching backing a truck up.
Another coat of pain on that building and you would not have fit! Nice backing job. I used to dock a minesweeper in a slip almost that tight, a good challenge now and then keep you sharp :)
Nice job backing Dan. Welcome back to Ohio, rest area's on US 30 are newer and have larger "green area" At the beginning of the video, that's the water tower at truck stop in Beaverdam, OH, right in my neck of the woods.
It's my experience that cat filters do save a lot of headaches. At my old job had CAT, Cummins, and Mercedes. The units were acquired through the bankruptcy court so we had a few cats that huge problems that we fixed and still had issues and it was oil and fuel filters. Awesome video
Hi Dan, nice vid. Maybe your offroad adventure near Cinti stirred up sediment from your tanks drawing all the crap through the system and gummed up your filters.
Nest time you are home if we can coordinate schedules, I would like to come to Benson and pick your brain about cameras and video equipment. Please let me know when you are coming back to Arizona.
Likes the new camera angle! Not much room on that one, but no hill for a climber. I would be more worried about that pole at the back corner of the building. It looked like it stuck out a little bit. I wonder how often they have to re-paint that guardrail to keep any yellow on it.
Sounds like a Ferrari there at 7.45.....plus a sequential gearbox too @ 8.05 ! lol. That place where you had to reverse in was a tight little spot, wasn't it ?? .... That guard rail needs moving back a couple of feet ,if they want big trucks to get in there..... Good job tho' Dan....nice and easy does it...
nice job backing you did super trucker Dan until next time be safe out there and on your adventure from Paris Texas God bless you and thank you for keeping American rolling
WOW!!!! Great job backing up! I got a little nervous watching! LOL LOL... You sure make it look easy, Dan. I really enjoyed the "backup" camera! Thanks
Have to add my kudos as well. That may have been your best video yet! I started to think you might run the camera for the back job at fast speed. It was even better that you didn't! Holy cow! You cut back on "Alright"s - lol! Did you notice? You're getting super good at UA-cam videos too! Thanks
SuperTruckerDan Don't drop the "alright" Dan, it kinda personalizes your videos. Great back job too, I remember places like that, they suck. Keep the great vids coming!
Dan the Man, good job on the video. You made it look easy getting in there. I've loaded there myself , nice people.I think they moved some cars in the front parking lot to help me out getting in there. Tight fit. I'll pass on the obvious opportunity for crude humor.
Love watching your videos along with several other of the UA-cam trucker videos. Really enjoy having you explain some of the technical aspects of the job along with the headaches too. One aspect of trucker life that drew my attention to trucker videos was the allure of the open road. I used to love driving the long distances to travel back when I was younger. I may be alone in this view but I personally would love to see more of the traveling down the highway footage that is a major part of being a trucker. I just love that part showing the highways of our country -- especially in areas where the scenery is beautiful as well as the footage that shows the headaches of navigating through the larger cities.
Nice spot to back into. Back around 1986. Got into a dock in NYC, it was tight like that.Never slowed down backing into it. But had to get a fork lift to scoot the trailer over coming out. Pole was in the way coming out. Guy laughed and told me anything other then a cabover and 42ft trailer. He has to help them get out. And I was the first in a long time to back into it. With out help.
Ohhh my God that spot was ridiculous! I'd write that one down in triplicate to make sure i neeeeever go back to that place! Gee wiz thats horrible! But then again, Good Money Makes Freight Move💰. But i must say Dan that you can wheel'n deal bubba! 👍👍👍👍
I was talking to the driver of that Sterling rig flat bed that got to the dumpster place before you, and he said he thinks you got your CDL on sale at Walmart, coz he backed down there in two tries, hahhahahahahahha
Dan,been thinking about your fuel filter all day,you MUST have picked up some water from a place you fueled ,water is just about the only thing that will plug up a filter,do you have a water separator on the Kitty Kat?
+Jim epps I've been thinking about it too. I had my truck washed a couple of days ago. Peterbilt fuel caps don't screw on they kind of latch on. There is a rubber O ring in the top of the cap. I've never replaced it. I thing water from the pressure wand at the truck wash got into the fuel tanks. I do have a water separator. I'm going to find a Peterbilt dealer and get new O rigs for the fuel caps
Your driving skills are top notch. There some drivers that wouldn't attempt that backup at all. Then there are some that would take twice as long as you did to back up their trailer into that loading area. That guard rail should be moved the same distance as those concrete blocks. Love this video.
This is the kind of place that keeps you skills sharp.I always liked to have a good challenge once in a while. The toughest one i ever had was in Charleston West Virginia.Good Job Dan.....................
What a nasty place to back into! 😨 Good thing you are so good at what you do. I would have told then to load me on the street! 😁 Of course I am a 4 wheel hockey and not a truck driver. But I do know trucking videos and yours are the best! Go safe and keep the videos coming. 👍
I would have thought that you would change your own fuel filters.... I do my own greasing and fuel filters. Too many problems with TA/Petro, Boss Shops, and Speedco's either not hitting all the zerks or over greasing some. It's irritating especially the price we pay.
Honestly I just don't want to get dirty. Its worth the $80 not to smell like diesel fuel. Speedco has been changing the oil in this truck since I first bought it that was 1.25 million miles ago.
That guardrail and all those concrete blocks, somebody had an argument with their neighbors :) I used to live a little further east on 30, and it is a nice area. But I prefer to live in the desert.
Dan, another great video. The problem with your fuel filter might be something to do with BiO diesel. We understand it has become a big problem for a lot of trucks nation wide. They can say what they want to but diesels were not suppose to burn chicken fat. We have heard it can be as high as a 50/50 blend.Injectors cant stand that stuff. Stay safe out there.
Hi Dan , I have used Baldwin filters forever, I think that you pay more for the Cat name . Are Cat filters made in China ? I use a performance additive and for a while there I thought you did to when you sped up around the lot. Hey Kallie you little potlicker. Great video, drive safe. Dave
Great test of your skill. Slow and steady! On the other hand, you'd think they could hustle them out to you on the street. Wouldn't want to put any more miles on their forklift...
12:12 that's crazy, thumbs up to that backing, I wouldn't be able to do that.

No problem.You're welcome Dan.
Great vid again Dan. That would b a tarp load if it was raining cats and dogs. Dumpsters full of water would be heavy.

That is one TIGHT SQUEEZE, great job!!
man that was a tight spot, good maneuvering! I like the different camera angles too!

Good thing you were in a good mood for that driveway. Did you dump the air for the trailer axle on the way in?
+Boston RStar
Yes when I dump the air in that back axle it make the trailer maneuver better.
Thanks for watching
SuperTruckerDan Forgot about that trick, we can't hear the air bag alarm anymore. Always a good ride when you're feeling good.
That Pete sounds like an Indy car in fast forward.
Ha ha. When he speeds the vid up it sounds like he's running a gamma goat.

Amazing video angles, Amazing driving skill..................I don't know how one does that.......Remarkable!
A small amount of water soaking into the filter will put one on the side of the road, hope t ok now.
The dumpster pickup reminded me of place I used to drive to for an outfit in Buffalo. Nasty, but challenging. Sweet job! Stay safe, Driver.

There’s no way I wouldn’t have hit that building with a regular truck less more a eighteen wheeler
i cant believe you carry loads like this without a headboard what will happen to the load if you have to stop in an emergency
That guardrail and all those concrete blocks, somebody had an argument with their neighbors :) I used to live a little further east on 30, and it is a nice area. But I prefer to live in the desert.
+Krieghandt
The last time I was there I didn't remember the guard rail. So I think your right about the neighbors
Thanks for watching
Forgive the newbie question, but, what lead you to know that the fuel filters were clogged? lack of power or engine sputtering, or something else?
Is your trailer a 96 or 102 w? Nice backing job.

My trailer is a 102

Great informative videos, props to you on the maneuvering skills!
Dan do use a diesel fuel treatment? Maybe your tanks have sediment and gunk at the bottom...
Just viewing some past episodes that Turbo sounds Sweet. Safe travels during the Wuhan Virus.
supertruckerdan when are you going to pick me up and train me?
Hi mate new to your channel, you were talking about fuel filters, does your engine reconditioner recommend any according to warranty ?
I was parked at the flying j last night too. I was parked on the other end of the parking lot over by the office for the idle air office
And they say flatbeder's can't back up
Nice backing job Dan!, for the life of me I cannot understand why a shipper or reciever would not give you more clearance and less obstructions.
Dam that place needs to get a real shop and loading dock instead of a taco stand but great job backing and you deserved hazard pay for that one
