Great video. Looking to do the same. Worried about the suink area - water etc. Can you tell me how yours has held up? Is it still easy to clean etc? Nothing peeling?
Great video? Would you recommend this tile paint product to do a whole kitchen ? I’m tempted but have an axe and hammer spare to knock down the tiles , if its a flop !
Awesome, we're planning doing the same! How have you found the durability, ease of cleaning, and overall longevity of the paint? Kind of 50/50 whether to paint or replace!
I have done two kitchens like this. was really easy to clean. The paint would tend to chip so would require occasional touching up but overall i was very happy and considering the price difference would always paint in future
It's been over a month and the paint is still on the tiles and I clean it every other day with method surface cleaner and a cloth, I don't think it will chip unless it's scratched with a knife. The cupboard paint however does chip off through accidental scratches so I end up repainting wherever it chips off.
I thought about that but black tiles shows up dirt more than white and I live in a hard water area so the limescale would've destroyed the black tap, I still have to remove it off the brass tap but it's less noticeable.
True. For this paint, you don't need to use a primer. They do have a solution that you apply to the surface and makes it more porous, but it is optional.
No I don't think that will work well, needs to be paint meant for tiles so that it can be cleaned. Might work with gloss paint if you can't get tile paint.
We painters have an expression that says can’t see it from my house. Very nice try but there’s a roller texture on the tiles, which is very unappealing.
This process contains a ton of mistakes that ruin your kitchen. My advice, without having seen any other video from this channel (i really dont want to) : Look a video of someone who knows what he/she is doing!!!
I loved the green/grey tiles
Wow truly beautiful you did a amazing job on your kitchen tile
Thank you so much 😊
It looks great! Awesome job❤I love an all white kitchen. Looks so light and airy.
Love your husband's contribution, that was cute. Thank you for the video, it is appropriated.
Great video. Thinking of painting my kitchen tiles. Now I've watched your video explaining how its done I'll give it ago. Thank You.
Great video. I need to transform our kitchen. ❤
Looked much nicer beforehand
Ikr 😂😂
Thanks for the tips! May I ask if the stovetop/heat has affected the paint? Do you notice any fumes or smell?
Nope not at all, heat doesn't affect it and no fumes coming from it other than when I first opened the paint jar.
Great video. Looking to do the same. Worried about the suink area - water etc. Can you tell me how yours has held up? Is it still easy to clean etc? Nothing peeling?
Yep still going strong, only peeled where I have banged something sharp.
Yep easy to clean
Looks really good….really good vid and description 👍
I love it... Wonder what paint i could use here in India for my kitchen tiles
looked SO much better before!
Absolutely brilliant, looks so much fresher.
On a side note, what is the name of your tiles, as these are what I want for my wet room. TIA.
No idea it was installed by the previous owner but I think they are bevelled subway tiles
When you did the 2nd/3rd coats did u have to do all the edges and grout with the brish again or just roller please?
Nope just went over with roller
Great video? Would you recommend this tile paint product to do a whole kitchen ? I’m tempted but have an axe and hammer spare to knock down the tiles , if its a flop !
On tiles yeah I don't see why not but it's a strong smell so make sure to ventilate

Very easy to clean, if you accidentally hit it with something sharp it does leave a chip in the paint
Fantastic 😍😍 Question are those stick & peel tiles ???
Nope they are real tiles the previous owner of the house put them up
I'm currently painting my kitchen tiles white as well, did you have any problems with the paint separating around the plug and switches?
Not around the plugs and switches but the paint just refused to go on where any sealant was so between the worktop and the tiles
Looks really great. Top job🙌.. What is the paint/product & where is it available.?! Many thanks. !!
V33 tile paint from bnq
@@timamatin Many thanks for your reply 🙌🤩
Amazing.. I'm in plans to paint my tiles. Would like to know how long paint stays on due to cleaning on a regular basis?
It's been over a month and the paint is still on the tiles and I clean it every other day with method surface cleaner and a cloth, I don't think it will chip unless it's scratched with a knife. The cupboard paint however does chip off through accidental scratches so I end up repainting wherever it chips off.
Did you paint thats sink with matalic paint 🌹as well.
I’ve had this paint in my bathroom in a wet area for a year, cleaned weekly with harsh products and it’s still perfect.
Does it chip and is it easy to clean?
It’s easy to clean but it has chipped where I’ve like dropped a knife or hit the tiles with a plug
How many coats did you get for the tiles from one tub?
4 coats I think
you should do the mixing outside
Hello! Where did you purchase your tiles?
It was done by the previous owner
nice, would have gone with black tiles and black tap to fit the theme personally
I thought about that but black tiles shows up dirt more than white and I live in a hard water area so the limescale would've destroyed the black tap, I still have to remove it off the brass tap but it's less noticeable.
How much time it take to dry completely?
4 hours I think
I thought you needed to apply a primer before painting tiles.
Depends on the brand of paint you get. For this brand it says you don't need primer.
True. For this paint, you don't need to use a primer. They do have a solution that you apply to the surface and makes it more porous, but it is optional.
What kind of paint is that and where do we get it?
It's tile paint I got it from B&Q
Lovely !
hi, really nice work - can i ask where did you get the cabinets handles from? or came with it? I really like the square shape handles
many thanks
I got them from Amazon if you search black d bar handles you should find a few options usually come in a pack
Can I use a normal enamel paint?
No I don't think that will work well, needs to be paint meant for tiles so that it can be cleaned. Might work with gloss paint if you can't get tile paint.
Was going to say the frog tape you bought is for freshly painted new walls aha! You needed the green frog tape really but great video 😬😬
Ahhhh no wonder! Thought it was just a different colour haha
We painters have an expression that says can’t see it from my house. Very nice try but there’s a roller texture on the tiles, which is very unappealing.
Agree
❤️ beautiful
How has it held up a year later? What size tub was your paint? It looks nice. Well done 👏🏾
Still looking good! No chips, cleans well and still white. I think I used the small pot 750ml
@@timamatin 9 month later, how’s it going? Really hate my tiles and this is looking like a last resort.
Ahhh well down! I’m thinking to paint our bathroom white :)
I thought the kitchen looked better before.
Cannot understand why some people want a white boring kitchen reminds me of a surgery
Nice
should of used a fine hair roller, then it would have looked as obvious it was painted
for even better result, paint correctly!
The after looks like it should be the before 😢
Don’t paint tiles. They turn yellow after a year.
What if you paint them yellow?
What if they were already yellow ?
Before looked much better
Agree too much white!
A colour breaks it up.
Looks like a surgery kitchen
That’s doesn’t look like sugar soap! Plus black would have looked better
Says it on the spray....

It's DIY I'm not an expert, just like the average Joe that will want to try this
@dadoom88 criticism without pointing out what she did wrong, if at all, is more useless than you think she is.. Keep quite! Looks good.
it looks like painted over tile
Yh you can't really hide that
not a massive difference really
👍👍👍👍👍😘🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦good look 😘💋
