FYI, was this a wet/dry paper and if so any reason you did not presoak the sanding paper?
is it doable if you re-apply clearcoat ?never seen anybody doin but i know they sell clearcoat liquid
You might have tried using the KXK tiny sanding blocks only on the clear coat edges but I think it would not have made any difference, you will still have that edge.
