I grew up in that area on dairy. I remember going In your barn when the mats were going down. Was there in 1983. When farmers would help one another. I’m glad to see your fathers legacy going on
Going through a rough moment in my day and watching this video has completely changed it for the better. My family has a dairy in Dimock, PA about 20 miles south of Binghamton. Still working the land and milking the cows well over 100 years later. I'm 45 and live in the "city" now. You gave me a gift. A gift of remembering my lost family members, my special cow goobie, and days of past that resonate. The hard work. The summers that lasted forever. The love I felt and the love I gave. When your father said how Binghamton was local it made me think of all the trips to central tractor with my grandma. I noticed how sweet you are with your girls. You are a good guy. Thank you for making the world a better place.
Thank you for the kind words Bradley. I am really glad you enjoyed the video and it brightened up your day. Thanks again for the kind words and I hope you have a wonderful day
I just want to go back to when a guy and gal like me and my wife could have a really fair shake with 70 milkers and my neighbors weren't gluttons and greedy with all the extra land tied up flooding everyone else's market with 2,500 cows...may they fall on their own swords
i started farming in Greene in 19 65 on a rented farm bought this far in 1969 in Morris and milked 50 head until 2011 just found your channel really love it
Great History! But I hope you remember the best cows you ever showed as fondly as I remember mine. Never got into sports, but showing great cattle is my favorite memory. I hope you can pass that to your own kids!

Thanks great video. Would like to see more of the milking operation. We milked for a few years. 25-30 cows. All I do now is square bale hay so I like those videos too!
Thank you David. I'm glad you enjoyed it
Mike this was amazing! I'm sure it was nice for your mom and dad to get to reminisce on all the hard work they have put in. I'm amazed at all of the growth they had in the 80s and 90s because at that time all the dairies in my area were closing down.
Thank you. I am very proud of what my parents were able to accomplish.
My dad had a skinner hay elevator put in, I want to say late 80's. I remember a older gentleman with truck and camper installing it..
They are great elevators.
Awesome vid mike! I always love seeing what farms looked like from back in the day
Thank you Greg. It was a great video to make
1982 we were the first Cato Meridian football team to ever play in the dome we won our semi finals game against Sandy Creek and the following week got crushed in the championship game by Dolgeville
Those catches were about the highlight of the game. We got destroyed in that game. Still cool to be on that field and in the locker rooms where all great athletes played. Now I'm getting cameos from them!! LOL
A lot of great pictures , memories , cherish those pictures ! Enjoy , stay safe ! Bob
Thank you Bob. Now my parents can always go on their smart TV and watch this
Great video , KEEP IT UP , MIKEP7810 !!!!!

That was great Mike, thank you for sharing. God bless my brother in grey, Tpr Chris Skinner....Rest In Peace.
Thank you Andrew. Very well said! Chris was a great man and I am a better person for knowing him. In my hay videos I like to give little nods to Chis by the elevator his grandfather made. Thank you Andrew for everything you do everyday. I really appreciate it!
Reminds me of my grandpa’s farm. The good ole days
Thank you Kevin. They were definitely good days
Mike, that was awesome I love the wrap around porch mom & dad had on the house. Great photos of yesteryear. I remember when dealers would drop off tractors at are place for my grandpa & uncle to try out those were the days. Great job.
Thanks David. Yeah my parents were upset when a heavy snow brought down the one side of the wrap around porch. Its too bad they didn't re build it as a wrap around again
