Go see any good mechanic and just tell them you own. The truck and you want. The govern removed tablet. We charge of about a 100 bucks. No question is asked. Well if your company finds out, oh my god, people are in trouble
our company trucks are governed at 64, you can lift your foot off the accel for a couple seconds and it will go up to 66-67 mph for about 3-5 seconds to pass thats about it. you can not do this continuously, nor does the cruise control override the programmed top speed. the only way to bypass this feature is having the top speed turned up via computer.
There are 2 ways to do this, but both must be set up in the ECM before they will work. The first is by setting cruise control and holding "Resume/Accelerate" for a few seconds. And the other way is by double pumping the accelerator. Basically with the accelerator floored, lift completely off, then floor it, lift off a second time, and floor it once more. That puts the truck in "passing mode" and gives you a short boost of speed though it will return to the governed speed after a short time. There is one other way to get more speed but that requires resetting the ECM vehicle speed limiter which you need a computer and the password to change. This increases the speed limit permanently.
Get the truck to coast just above the governed speed limit, like let it coast down hill in neutral, then once above governed speed float back into gear and accelerate, it'll work for like 5 seconds so you have repeat over and over,, but not all will do this
ok im in a 2014 International and I'm sick and tired of it not pulling and it's had a new turbo and actuator put on it and the thing still won't pull 65,000 lbs uphill or in the mountains and is governed at 65 ... 67 with the cruise on and mashing the pedal at the same time this shit bis pissing me off
Lol ya governed trucks suck.beat the piss out them.slam those trucks in nuetral, ram the gears back into place. Not to mention all the rock chips you get in your windshield. All you need is a laptop and computer to get by it.if you have cummins, use the password 0000 and you can break in easy.
Prostars have a ecu setting to bypass limiter. Reach top speed.. release pedal two times quickly (tap tap) then full pedal again... a speed bypass light pops up on dash and u can go faster. My old prostar was set at 64 Nd went 75 for 30 miles. Use it wisely
+April Davis serious but ur ecu has to have the function turned on and it can be tweeked with the software. if u have a prostar give it a try. it does not come from factory with the function turned
Maxxforce? I could do that in my last truck with the Maxxforce, but not with the 2016 with the Cummins. Pisses me off, because I would use it to get around other governed trucks.
Because some companies have their trucks governed (set top speed) at certain mph, and can't travel any faster. Companies do it to save money on fuel, safety reasons, less mechanical wear, etc. I've worked on semis for 16 years, governors fucking suck.
I agree. I actually tried it with the route truck I drive and it does not work. At least for the type of governor I have, which controls the RPMS. I cant even cost down a hill faster than 60. The engine will slow the truck down with the engine. Hate it.
+Jasminder Bangar if your in a automatic you probably shouldn't b speeding cuz you can't handle it yet... sorry but it's the truth, u gotta earn your stripes first
Some companies give you automatic.... Should the driver quit and look for other work? If the pay is good, I don't give a rats ass if there is a 3rd pedal or not. Wake up man! I would judge a good a driver on whether they can back into the dock or not. 35 years driving and I've been given an Auto. Hated it at first, if you don't fight it, it does an alright job. In all honesty there are a few areas that make the stick the better choice.

Or if its a manual unplug the speedo from the back of the transmission boom no governor
Ok so um how did you do it....thats what we wanna know...lol
Exactly. Why post the video to show use you sped up and low down 😂

before 9/1/99 Texas only allowed 60/night: 55 for trucks on interstates, go figure.
Doesn't work unless the ECU settings allow this.

Obviously distacted by playing with his phone while driving nearly 100mph.
Real smart
Hell yeah I love doing dumb shit like posting dumb comments

I'm no longer with that company my truck now is wide open
+RoadHammer3406E good feeling
+inktoxicated Is that a joke or are you serious?
+April Davis serious but ur ecu has to have the function turned on and it can be tweeked with the software. if u have a prostar give it a try. it does not come from factory with the function turned
+April Davis this also works with cascadias, again the parameters need to be set to on
There were no comments made on how you did whatever you did.
Hawhawhaw, just get your own truck.
all you have to do is set the cruise then keep hitting the accell button and they will go as fast as you want.
todd beano ... uh no
mack trucks will, just set the cruise and keep hitting the accel button and it will go up to the engine governor
90 easy with a 97 mack, new ones might be different
Definitely not true
How do u do that with international bobtail
Read the description
How did you delete the governor on your international
Read the description
Oh!... Well I can do that, big deal... I want to know how to really change it???
How??
Maxxforce?
I could do that in my last truck with the Maxxforce, but not with the 2016 with the Cummins. Pisses me off, because I would use it to get around other governed trucks.
he did it going down hill
Feathering the clutch? You'll burn it up if you are.
That's what I was trying to do
... and your point is? 🤷♂️
Pancakes on the roof sofa king rail yard yeet
Going down hill is not bypassing the governor
Not paying attention makes you look dumb
guys i am stuck on scania torino and meccedes busses speedometer gorveners anyone who knows how to deactivate them help plsss
sorry not a clue
Access the canbus and raise the speed governor to 85 mph
Lol whats the point of the video? Bro

Would have been nice to just tell us instead of making us figure it out. My truck doesnt have cruise control so this doesnt work for me
Don't let him fool u he went down hill even if u have cruise control it won't work otherwise the governor is pointless
I agree. I actually tried it with the route truck I drive and it does not work. At least for the type of governor I have, which controls the RPMS. I cant even cost down a hill faster than 60. The engine will slow the truck down with the engine. Hate it.
dump the clutch.
Idiot
Howd you do it im stuck with jb now
I found that out by total accident just by trying to beat the shit out of the truck in that truck it worked by slipping the clutch
How?
that particular truck I slipped the clutch switch and the truck would accelerate past the governor
So in an automatic you're pretty much screwed and can't bypass the governor?
+Jasminder Bangar if your in a automatic you probably shouldn't b speeding cuz you can't handle it yet... sorry but it's the truth, u gotta earn your stripes first
HunterRose Trucking you sound fucking stupid bro there are experienced drivers that cant even drive

Wtf is these????
Do you know what are you showing us .
Or what are u doing ?
Playing with myself cause I'm scared the truck go fast
@@Roadhammer3406e
Hey do you know how to remove these damn speed limit on a international 2015 truck?
@@juanfranco2527 no I found it by accident
@@Roadhammer3406e
Omg these fucking truck sucks it wont go past 64 and went I load the truck it won't go past 60 .
