Installing the RML-3W, our Monster Lite fold-away rack, has never been easier thanks to the new Rogue Stringer.
Exclusively for use with Rogue’s Fold Back Wall-Mounted Power Racks, these exclusive stringer pairs are highly recommended for ensuring the most stable, secure installation possible. Each stringer is made in the USA from laser-cut and formed 11-gauge steel, and measures 59" long x 10-1/8" tall, with an protrusion of 13/16" off the mounting surface when installed. Within the pair, one stringer is used to mount the top hinge brackets and the other for the bottom hinge brackets. - Спорт
This video would be much improved if it were in detail and real time.

Yeah Fr, everyone alrewady has a picture how it goes together How high from the ground is the top plate? everything else can easily be figured out from there. literally the main crucial measurement.
Ive installed this for customers at least 10 times..all in concrete..and without any help...takes at least 2 hours with the measuring if you want it perfectly square and level..these guys didn’t measure height for either stringer which is the most important part of the install..along with getting them directly above each other so the attachment posts swing nice and smooth...and going into blocks you need to hit the meat/thick part of the blocks for proper anchoring hold. Someone needs to put a PDF manual online...that means you ROGUE.
That's true. We did installation ourselves and it took us almost half day
Do you need stringers if mounting onto a cinder block wall?
@@stevenliu1070 nope. Not needed but it’s good to have one or make a stringer from wood
@@BrownBarbellClub Is it good to have them? Seems like more hardware and ugly to boot so would want to avoid if I possibly can. I plan install with wall bolts that are rated for a ton of weight each, only question was about the material being able to hold up itself. I'm hoping to get away without stringers as long as it's safe.
Clarification: "a ton" in the colloquial sense, not a literal metric ton. But they are rated at several hundred KGs each.
Slow the hell down, didn't want to see how fast you could put it together....I wanted an actual installation video.
Bryan swindell hahahahaha right?! The fuq?!

This. So much this.
So basically it would take a friend and I at least 4 hours.
panbuffman took me 2 but that was mostly spent on mounting the stringers because I had to find the studs and make sure both were level, the right distance apart and in line
@@niushababazadeh6411 Is it scrapping the floor when you swing it open?
and 2 cases of beer
Check out step by step installation video at
Dont know what people are complaining about. To me this is the perfect video, no fluff, no BS, only 39 seconds long and bam! Just pause and copy what they did. And yes hit the wall studs you goofs, you're not going to be mounting butterflies on this rack.
Did mine myself, assembled the rack and them positioned it on the wall. Easier than measuring.
Why didn't you make this video real-time and with instructions? Next time, tell us if it's a speed build or not.

interested in buying one... quick question..
what is the height of the pull par at the top position..
i am 6'2 and want to make sure that my feet will be off the ground with space..
thanks
Staged to high heaven, didn’t measure once for the height for the top stringer to attach to the arms of the rack, you can see pre drilled holes as well. Nice rack as I own one but try more like 30-45 minutes of install for prep time. 15 mins my ass
Is the material of the rack weather resistant? Will the finishing on the rack protect from the rain and shine here in south Florida?
I’m curious if this eventually wears gouges in the concrete slab that might alter how it rests on the floor. I like the concept and am interested.
it has hard polymer end caps. no metal to concrete contact
Hi Rogue,
I think y'all are doing incredible things. Is there any reason you haven't built this foldable with rear uprights (2X3 or 3X3) too? That way I could install safeties. It's on my list of stuff to build for myself (or modify yours) but I know you can do it faster/cleaner. Please take my money.
LOL, "Please take my money" :P
Due to height variations of the horizontals they couldn’t do rear uprights. Thought about doing the the strip and strap safety system to accomplish this. Probably not recommend by rogue...

Was not familiar with that product --interesting idea. Thanks for response.
This will be in my garage sooner rather than later.
Did you get it?
@@BrownBarbellClub ended up with am RM4. Which ended up fitting in there after all. Which is good since I have been pushing my squat pretty hard lately and I've needed my safety straps on a couple. Not sure the folder would tolerate that.
@@bmstylee makes sense. We have fold back with we got spotter arms in case we need it. Just did a review of this rack if you want to check out. Thanks!
Can install the slinger attachment into this?
how much can the arms move up and down on the hinge pin to adjust to a sloped garage floor
1.5 inches
Not centred on the wall, also how did they work the heights out.
Can the bottom plate be adjusted higher
It looks like it will scrape the floor when it swings open??
What they don't tell you is the lag bolts are massive and will split anything smaller than a 4x4 lol . I had to buy and frame in 3 4x4s into my garage to make sure it was secure .
you got a photo? would like to see how you installed. thank you
If you drill the appropriate size pilot holes (they tell you the bit size on the instructions) this won’t be an issue. A good stud finder and the appropriate pilot hole and you’ll be good to go.
@@kc7136 can we upload photos in the comments ?
@Shauncartyactual ha pilot holes were drilled . Studs were fastened to other existing studs . Everything was secure . The bolts didn't start cracking the studs till it was put under stress . I left the frame exposed for 2 weeks to watch it as I worked out and saw the cracks forming out from where the bolts were when me and my buddy started squatting 600 + . We were intentionally unforgiving when we racked the bar . The 2x4s started to crack and bow and these were pressure treated . I didn't trust it anymore so I framed in 4xs and it's been solid since .
How many times do they want us to watch this?
OMG..its obvious those guys work for Rogue.
everyday at least twice a day :-)

Do you need to show the milliseconds? This isn't an F1 pitstop!
Does this scrape on the floor when opening/closing, or can you lift it off the floor when opening/closing?
It lifts up..if you mount it correctly there is at least one inch of travel off the floor..could be more..again it just depends on your stringer positioning
Do the stringers come with the hardware to mount the stringers to the wall?
TinyT0ez yea, they do. I just got mine today and everything you need to mount the stringers is there. Keep in mind they’re wood lags, if you’re mounting to concrete you have to hit up your Home Depot, Lowe’s or whtevr.
@@sickthoughts1738 Thanks, mine is coming in today and I came here for this answer. Thanks for saving me the pre-emptive trip to HD.
Is there a link to downloadable instructions?
@@lindacherylarteaga1488 I never found any instructions online, but the sheets that the rack and stringers came with were actually very good and easy to use (even for me!). The whole process took me about 2 hours, working alone. It was pretty easy, but I'm meticulous (read: obsessive).

Do the legs rest on the ground? What if I’m installing it in a garage with a slightly slanted floor? Probably an inch difference between legs
get a new garage floor or get something to make up the diffferance
@@cynicaltexan9639 lol get a new garage floor?
Josh: im probably in the same boat. I have mine halfway installed right now and it's dead on perfectly level but one side is slightly higher than the other. Betting this garage has a slight slope for drainage. I'll probably just get something to put under the lowest one or engineer something that fits into the holes.
@@Real28 Theres about 1.5 inches of play for the pivot points to move up and down so the slope should be no problem

This ain’t their second rodeo
You think they would have at least centered it.
We would have! But the stud placement on the wall required it to be slightly off-center.
15 minutes is not realistic for anyone doing this at home. Also pay close attention to the instructions as they have different height setting for the monster and monster lite. I was disappointed with their instructions.

I seriously doubt that's laser-cut and formed 11-gauge steel
Mongoosemcqueen Your comment is based on what?
It is precisely that.
Mongoosemcqueen Nothing but crickets.......
Do these stringers work for the Stall Bars you sell as well?
slow this video down!!!!
Yeah the wall was very obviously premarked and this video is not helpful whatsoever
Make a real detailed please, your paper instructions are awful. What’s a 0.39sec video going to do
This video is not helpful at all for the actual installation
Are we supposed to be impressed? this was a complete waste of time..
