You obviously aren't afraid to lean that bike.. other people here just see that with some other skills, you would reduce your own risks and increase your fun greatly.... See you out there

The assholes were the camera man and the bike ahead of him. I never saw a thanks wave for people that pulled off for you. You want to ride like that you need to pay for track day. There is no alternative to the Dragon in that area so yes many locals drive the Dragon daily, its Main Street between East TN and NC. One of your types ran me off the road on a very quiet weekday in October in 2018. I had several broken ribs but my bike was fine.
This is my back yard, these mini doc riders are the ones that endanger everyone else. I love the dragon but respect that it is a public causeway, not a private racetrack. I certainly hope that whoever posted this is not the filming rider calling these others A**holes. These two are clearly beginners riding way over their ability. Have fun but be safe and respect others on the road.
No I’m the lead bike calling everybody assholes, it is a racetrack there’s no reason for anybody else to be on the road there’s nothing 30 minutes each way, slow people get out of my way! Lol
When ever a car pulls over to let you pass, ALWAYS wave or toot your horn in appreciation. I moved to Mendocino Co. CA in '82 partly because of hundreds of miles of great windy mountain bike roads. Almost all the roads were broken lined then, now they're mostly double lined. A MC can safely pass a car in seconds where you wouldn't think of doing it in a car. I always give cars a chance to pull over before crossing the line. BTW, Fast and Furious "Need for Speed' was filmed here, though on the few straight roads.
I hate when people don't pull off but i never pass on the dragon. Rather not risk myself or anyone else. I just pull off and wait for the slower folks to get ahead
Exactly. We always imagine ourselves coming the other way, don’t cross mustard EVER, and don’t pressure ppl with low skill in front of us to drive above their means. Easy to quickly tell if someone is going to pull off or not. If they’re not, we do and just wait or run the other direction for a bit.
Yeah this rider needs to step back and watch his own video and take some riding lessons. I have never seen such bad lines, jerky action, over correction, following too close, riding the banana strip, etc. They should re lable the video to say something like " How not to ride on the Dragon" I live only 30 miles from the Dragon and Never ride it because of people like this on it. Much better riding on other roads in the area with much less traffic. And a lot of county roads I would never advertise to just try and keep riders like this one off of them.
I know that this is not in the UK and as such I noticed that the rider was inexperienced in controlling such a powerful bike. His riding was erratic and totally not smooth and flowing as it should be. To say the least his lack control and the making of progress was somewhat tainted.A good video to learn what not to do on any country road anywhere in the world.
@@bluerida04go faster or get out of the way ! When a highway has a fast lane, it’s used for passing slower traffic, that means the same on any road, move over for faster traffic. I also agree! I thought it was going to be about A holes they came across, not a self portrait! Do they know what BRAKES are for? At any time they could have and should have pulled over themselves and waiting for the people they were following to get 15 - 20 minutes in front of them! As DMByrum says they need a riders course! Maybe they should invest money at a track school to see how crappy they ride. And if they get better go there and race and inevitability crash, at least at a track they will NOT hurt others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it’s hilarious. They aren’t required to pull over and let you by. They might have saved your soso riding life. We’re you getting frustrated lil’ fellas?
Getting a good ride on Deal's Gap is like getting the perfect photo. You might get it the first ride or it could take years. Calm down, quit being an a-hole, and shift more often to keep the motorcycle at the optimal rpm.
It means it is safe to pass on a blind curve. Brake lights mean crowd the rider ahead of you and take the space beside him away so he has no room to maneuver. He learned it from the school of hard knuckle-heads.

@@crazedbrazy617bh How about you realize that there's a speed limit and it's a public road and shove it.. YOu want to be a moron ? Do it where no one else can get hurt because you're being stupid.
Never thought it would be possible to be a douche AND a tool at the same time.

A**holes at tail of the dragon (Deals Gap)...agree.
Bikers need to stay in their lanes. That doesn't mean you lean in and your whole upper body is in the opposite lane.
Local people who use the road on a day to day basis are under no obligation to defer to tourists.
Money spent on one track day will show you just how much you have to learn with your riding, my friend. We all love ripping this, and other roads apart on our bikes. It sucks to crash on a road like this. Spotty phone service, lack of flatbed tow vehicles, guard rails that destroy people, double apex turns and shrinking radius turns, other traffic. .
Believe it or not, we all just want to see you ride better. Anyone can spin a throttle for christ sake. You obviously aren't afraid to lean that bike.. other people here just see that with some other skills, you would reduce your own risks and increase your fun greatly....
See you out there
I only saw normal traffic on the dragon. Just because others don't ride as recklessly as you do doesn't mean they are assholes. If anything, the ones putting on the pressure get that tag. I particularly enjoyed the black car pacing you guys. I bet he had fun.
Take it to the track. Half of what you did would get you banned from the track. Is that why you had to taint The Tail of the Dragon? Banned from the track?
This moron never got out of 2nd gear. No need to take that to the track either.
This may be the worst display of lane position and throttle control I've ever seen.
Imagine......Encountering CARS on a public roadway .....! Who would think THAT would EVER happen ????
If you want to "feel like you're a racer" go to a local track day & do it without oncoming traffic.
Going to a track is for rich sissies, I like the oncoming traffic, adds danger
A holes on motorcycles … passing people on this road should result in forfeiture of drivers license
Go to a track day and find out how slow and unskilled you both are.
Where’s your riding videos at Rossi? 😂
The crotch rockets all think they own the road in western North Carolina. I have a hard time feeling sorry when I see the Life Flight coming in.
We’ll see the thing is, we do own the road in every country, every state, doesn’t matter where we are, it’s our road 🤷🏼♂️
Perfect example of irony and I'm not talking about Miss Morressettes difinition of Irony.
In the UK we would have titled this clip as “How to 50 pence your way around corners”. Showing the whole world how crap you are at riding bikes.
Passing in no passing lanes/zones is gonna get you a ticket at the least, and killed at most.
It gets me where I’m going a little quicker 😉
This is my back yard, these mini doc riders are the ones that endanger everyone else. I love the dragon but respect that it is a public causeway, not a private racetrack. I certainly hope that whoever posted this is not the filming rider calling these others A**holes. These two are clearly beginners riding way over their ability. Have fun but be safe and respect others on the road.
No I’m the lead bike calling everybody assholes, it is a racetrack there’s no reason for anybody else to be on the road there’s nothing 30 minutes each way, slow people get out of my way! Lol
The title of this video is "A**holes at tail of the dragon (Deals Gap)", the only A**holes I saw was the person recording and the rider in front.
A HOLES ON CROTCH ROCKETS.......YUP
Nobody like s thrill junkie. Especially one who invades his riding partner's space
I could tell right away that this Richard-Noggin doesn't know how to ride.
Ahhh I’m sure you’ve won a couple MotoGP championships yourself there dickhead? 😂😂 Richard noggin that’s a new one
The initial 1 minute+ of idling was certainly exciting. You know, there are apps to edit video.
These are the same type of sport bikers that still can't go fast enough on tracks but blames the leading bikes for slowing them down.
I always try to wave if a car pulls over in a decent amount of time
Cruisers are actually feeling embarrassed to be on the same road. Hilarious as they pull over.
Never seen anyone take so many bites at a corner. Are you a beginner or were you drunk?
Both i think
Lmaoooo definitely both
I hate when people don't pull off but i never pass on the dragon.
New title of this is , “ look at how of an asshole we are”
It is bad when the car stays in lane better then the guys on the bikes
Yeah this rider needs to step back and watch his own video and take some riding lessons. I have never seen such bad lines, jerky action, over correction, following too close, riding the banana strip, etc. They should re lable the video to say something like " How not to ride on the Dragon"
I live only 30 miles from the Dragon and Never ride it because of people like this on it. Much better riding on other roads in the area with much less traffic. And a lot of county roads I would never advertise to just try and keep riders like this one off of them.
Getting pissed because people drive the speed limit and you want to race? It is a public road.
It's pretty obvious who the a**holes are...
You can take the squid off the road, but you can’t take the road out of the squid. (After they kiss it with their face)
Is this Valentino Rossi’s secret UA-cam account? Please share your vast wisdom and expertise on how to ride oh great one…😂
this is a state highway, public road, no one has to pull over and let you pass, back off and let them get ahead of you
Best idea ever!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 pull over and let them get ahead of you so ten more slow cars can get in front of you, man why didn’t I think of that?!? 😳
@@bluerida04go faster or get out of the way ! When a highway has a fast lane, it’s used for passing slower traffic, that means the same on any road, move over for faster traffic. I believe you have the whole road to accomplish the pass, the double yellow is only a suggestion for the faint of heart, not for me.

I thought a video about the "Tail of the Dragon" would be spectacular but the "Tard of the Dragon" ruined it.

Dudes all over the road! 😂
Take it to the track
It's about the ride not about how fast
You go so far to be in pretty country. And once there you go so fast you see little more than paint and pavement.
Sphincter & Anus is the name of this motorcycle action TV Show.
I like how he's takes all the turns in segments. You should be more careful bro.
I think it’s hilarious. They aren’t required to pull over and let you by. They might have saved your soso riding life. We’re you getting frustrated lil’ fellas?
This is reckless...I am sure there is a tree somewhere with your names on it
You know how many things are reckless now a days this is how riders have fun but these guys with the camera and his freind were being assholes
Getting a good ride on Deal's Gap is like getting the perfect photo. You might get it the first ride or it could take years. Calm down, quit being an a-hole, and shift more often to keep the motorcycle at the optimal rpm.
WONDER WHAT THAT YELLOW LINE IS FOR?
It means it is safe to pass on a blind curve. Brake lights mean crowd the rider ahead of you and take the space beside him away so he has no room to maneuver. He learned it from the school of hard knuckle-heads.
It means half of what two yellow lines are for!
Apparently it's for trolling drivers that are faster than you.
I watched this entire video and the only asshole thing i saw was maybe the one filming going over the yellow line when oncoming traffic was present. I ride a Harley, I do let faster bikes past when presented the opportunity. But that car was going faster than most bikes i've been behind on that road! LOL With all that being said, that road is there for the enjoyment for all, if your trying to do a timed run through there i suggest doing it on a weekday when there isn't as much traffic. I dont like getting stuck behind slower people than myself either, it suck, but no reason to get upset over. Just do more runs. Oh one last thing, there are so many tough talking people behind a key board!! LOL you all make me laugh!! I enjoy a good laugh!!
typical rocket bike riders at the dragon....they will hound and endanger you until you tire of it, and pull aside...tree of shame mostly their parts....thanks for ruining it for others...jerks
Not me. Ill stay in front of them and confront them at the end.
@jerry s while I agree this rider and his buddy are morons and have no idea how to ride, I'd suggest on your next trip to take a look at the tree again. harleys/cruisers have more than their fair share of parts in that tree.
What a lousy cycle driver!!
Yeah , we have a road here in NC called the Devil's backbone that crotchrocket riders try to straighten out only they don't , they only end up going to an early grave. Speed limits vary on the stretches of road, but most riders don't follow them. It has claimed the lives of many marines who thought they could handle the Devil's backbone at a high rate of speed, that didnt happen.
You know those bikes have more than 2 gears
You're assuming he has more than 2 good brain cells.
Not on the tail of the dragon they dont. 318 curves in 11 miles
Someone dies nearly every year at this place..these guys are the reason ..soooo hardcore leaning off at 10 mph lol.

This is the most appropriately named video on UA-cam. 😁 Except he left out the 2 infront of ***holes.
Guess we know who the a-holes were that day
You can’t bitch about cars holding you up until you know how to properly ride a motorcycle at speed
Your throttle control is impeccable...

It could be worse.. I was more concerned with his command. His curve balls are all over the place.. 😂
@@guywebster8018 Yeah, just watched it again and this whole video is hard to watch. Lol

I'm wondering what vehicle is this recorded from?
Kawi Zx10
Yep these are the one who make a ride dangerous .
If it wasn’t meant to be dangerous I’d ride a Harley, or drive a slow 4 cylinder convertible, same thing as a Harley 🤷🏼♂️
@@bluerida04 It wasn't meant to be dangerous but people make it like that . Take your time and be safe .
It is The Dragon. I don't know where DragonsTail or Tail of the Dragon came from?

Orrrrr maybe I’m a secret genius and knew if I passed him I wouldn’t have this golden video that you would one day comment on, not Florida but our southern part of the state has a couple hills in it, ohio
It's not a highway or Interstate road. If the bikers don't like it. They can pull over and wait awhile until traffic is lighter. I was hit from behind by some idiot on a sport bike on the highway, I was lucky I didn't go down, but my bike was heavily damaged. He was in the usual mindset like so many younger riders, in that I'm faster, get out of my way.
you must have meant AH as in first person singular or in other words Ahole POV

This guys counter steer is very exaggerated tho.... or am I wrong ?
Bunch of passive aggressive drivers in the comments. Same people that do the speed limit in the left lane on the highway and block traffic...
uDunDunnit my thoughts exactly haha
I believe those passive aggressive drivers are wannabe volunteer traffic cops.... note to all you volunteer police out there, it is NOT YOUR JOB to control the behavior or other drivers/riders. You are just causing controversy and adding to the road rage epidemic.
All that said, I do agree with other comments. The wanna be speeds racers are out if line. Go find a track
Nope it is not my jobs to control your behavior, nor is it my responsibility to pull over for you and every other A**Hat while enjoying my ride ‘cause y’all wanna go ballistic.

Who was the a**hole? The Tesla? It didn't seem like he was really slowing you down all that much, or else you would have passed him. You didn't seem like you were going a whole lot faster after that "a**hole" pulled off to let you pass, either...
