Well it's official. I can say by experience that the Tail of the Dragon is fully re-paved. From start to finish. It's funny, watching the videos you can't see the ups and downs of the road. Was a very nice ride and not too many people. On a Wednesday around noon time
@@theone2be33 I appreciate this comment man, that road is definitely one to be aware of. This video was filmed in May 28th 2024. Thanks for showing love.
@@rollinnontwo276 great. I heard during the week is much less traffic. I'm so torn on going. Which means I probably will go. Plus I heard they repaved the whole road.
@@theone2be33 yes definitely during the week is the best to go. And I will be back next year to check out the new paved road. Should be even better now.
right -> dip -> left -> right at about 6:25 almost got me. First time riders really need to be aware of that corner. Fortunately, no oncoming traffic when I came through.
Thank you for this comment brother, I wanted to share a real and honest experience on how to ride this road. I appreciate this a lot. Thank you for your time.
I like your channel, but this is just BS statement. Any paved road is all experience levels, as long as you keep your speed in check. As far as I know, there is no law stating you have to ride it at some minimum speed. With ADV bike I can ride this road at the speed I am comfortable with, without any problems. You can't say the same for some tracks ADV bike can ride on.
I understand your point and the video was to show how I rode this road. Everyone will attack this mountain 🏔️ on their own terms and will ride it at their own level. Not sure where the BS Statement is but I appreciate the comment and your time. Good luck to you man.
do not expect anyone to move over....folks are riding the road at the pace they are ok with(DO NOT BE ANGRY WITH OTHERS)
@@MarkVanTasell very true man
Love the way you ride. Just a dude on his bike in the beautiful mountains. So chill. Love it.

Great ride. Respect to you teaching calmness, patience and control. What day and time was this? Didn't see many bikes at Deals Gap.
