While I honestly think that Tooie is a better game overall that greatly improves on the downfalls of the first game, I definitely think that Banjo Kazooie is a solid game, even when I'm taking an objective look at it and putting my nostalgia for the game aside. There's so much for both kids and adults to enjoy about the game and I'll probably have the soundtrack blasting in my headphones until he comes out as a character in Smash, at which point I'll be spending every free moment I have trying to master his gameplay. I really hope that this means that at least Banjo and Conker will be returned to Nintendo.

Nintendo hired Grant Kirkhope, the original composer for Banjo-Kazooie, to do the remix for Banjo’s music in ultimate. Nintendo is doing everything the right way. ~I’m very excited for Banjo music in smash.~

@@soulkouga3452 I’m usually very aggressive with him. Eggs/bombs for edgeguard, side tilt for quick hits, and chaining a down grab at high percentage traps them long enough to nail a side smash. Not to mention using wonderwing to break defenses and keep them off balance
Click Clock Wood is definitely my favourite level. Even outside of the music theme, it seemed so unique, with all the seasons and how each season progressed the level I.E. the shed not built and then it was, the bird from an egg to an adult, etc.
I can still remember the excitement and mystery when I first came across it, and that feeling of weird familiarity when I recognized the world puzzle that was all the way at the beginning of Gruntilda's lair

I used to use the full soundtrack OST, but some of the tunes are to spooky for when I'm asleep (I love them any other time though, I can't think of a song in either game that I dislike) this video has all the more upbeat songs, and less of the layer and grunty music, which is perfect for my bedtime soundtrack

I know it sounds cliche but truly games used to be so much better in the music department. We still get great soundtracks, but the limitations they had back then required seriously catchy melodies and progressions to make it not sound mediocre.
