yeah that was definitely a "fuck go back" moment when they realized how much more powerful they made that deck
You forgot to mention that at the time paladins 2-Drops were insanely strong and competitive at the time. Aldor attendant was unplayable because it competed with cards like shotbot which completely blew it out of the park, while almost every paladin deck was often running 4-8 2 drops anyways

The game is great, the recent metas (imo) have not been. I try to limit my time on the game at the moment, hoping for better things with rotation.
@@Rarran I quit the game because of Genn and Baku. That meta was so awful. Tried to play it again and was really shocked to see that core set and classic were so different.

Wild fire was actually a nerf because it killed Even Mage, which is objectively a cooler deck than Hero Power Mage.
I really hope they revert it or change it somehow so that even mage can work again, seemed SO fun

I haven't played Hearthstone in a long time, and I've all but given up on Bliz games...but watching these videos about the history of different cards is very entertaining.

6:43 lmfao did knife juggler just really go face 3 times with a full board, now im really bad at math but that seems like some insane luck 😂😂
(1/8)^3 = 1/512. The actual statistic is a little lower because we have to account for the possibility that knife juggler kills one of the one health minions then hits one of the grim patrons, but that's too much math for me.
The only thing I enjoy about Hearthstone now is your videos and dungeon runs. Keep up the good work your videos are super entertaining!

You can change stats and make it slightly better or worse but changing mana means you can or can’t use a combo, it’s so good.
Also, I love Wildfire and Mordresh for my Ping Mage deck.
Half the things you mention are nerfs, not buffs.
Before the wildfire buff even mage was absolutely busted deal 8 damage summon a six six next turn deal 20 if it lives
U forgot jaina boobs were nerfed.. bigest nerf of all time
Crazy how despite Northshire Cleric being arguably the best one drop in Hearthstone for quite a while, Priest was still an awful class for such a long time
3:04 not quite, when Aldor Attendant was buffed Paladin finally got a 1 mana card, but there wasn't enough 1 mana cards at the time, but you are correct that it got far from Scolomance onward

pretty obvious you weren't playing back in open beta, 4 mana buzzard/unleash combo was actually fine the way it was because hunter didn't have any other draw tools back then and this one could easily be countered by not zooing up the board. nerfing it to 5 was unnecessary imo but also not the end of the world, tagging on an extra 3 whole mana is just completely insane though. you mention this as if it was very much deserved, and it just wasn't? the only reason they nerfed buzzard this harshly was because of the consistency it brought to undertaker hunter during naxx, but in doing so they also nerfed other hunter archetypes (face/beast) that REALLY didn't need nerfing and were basically written out of the game by doing so. I don't care if you don't tell the entirety of a backstory on something but i'm pretty sure you can go without blatantly misrepresenting stuff like this.

one time i saw a mage get 5 wildfires. it was boring.
And now there's Naga Ping Mage and if you DON'T get five Wildfires you probably played the deck wrong

hero power mage is extremely fucking annoying, but they just HAD to buff it a thousand times to make their idea work

Honestly, I'm still annoyed that luna's pocket galaxy wasn't what that one community guess was. "Transform your deck into an infinite supply of random cards". It would have been so much more interesting. I also think you're forgetting the alpha buff where the shaman's healing totem no longer healed their hero...
Then again, I've pretty much given up on hearthstone as a playable game at this point. It's a total mess and is only gonna get worse.

funny mana worm are have all time to 1/3 due vanilla time over lichking dlc after that dont know and fireball all time have 4 mana to
i think the reason deck of chaos doesn't see play because it's not even close to as good an effect and the minions it benefits are largely terrible???

When will hearthstone give us a controllable graveyard? It would give priest the ability to be good. Or give it some other buffs like change some effects a little or adjust costs?
The answer is never, because priest is disliked for sone reason.

Sorcerer's Apprentice also saw a buff from a 2/2 to a 3/2 back in Beta. Not as big a change as some of the other Mage buffs, but it did mark a turning point from the card seeing decent play to being an auto-include in every Mage deck.
