It's good to see you enjoying time with your dad. Please let him and your mom know there are people in America who are thinking about them and praying for their safety. Sending you all love, hope and prayers!
When your dad thanked you for helping him winterize the house and check on everything there, you should acknowledge him and say no problem Dad i enjoyed time with you as well. Your dad is very respectful and seems to be a happy man. He's very kind to give you answers to your questions for your video and make the learning about his childhood and his villiage interesting. Tell him you love him, one day all you'll have is these videos to cherish your time together.
@@barryevans6757 it's best to be respectful of your parents, especially when they are speaking to you, maybe you ignore your parents when they speak to you, I do not.
Reminds me of the country in West Virginia. Growing your own vegetables, owning a good size of land, wood or coal stove, keeping the house cooler. It is very peaceful, life is simple and slow and relaxed, the air is fresh. Most people have at least on dog, they alert you if anything strange or strangers are around. Thank you Pavlo and dad for sharing your home, your lives with us. I hope you have happy holidays. I wish you and the family peace and health. 😘
Aw...I was just going to tell him 'this makes me miss snow in West Virginia', where my family is. I moved to southern Texas over 34 years ago to be where my husband grew up...And your comment was the first I see...Cool...howdy😀
Lovely summer house, bet it gets well warm after that stove has been going for a while, great insight in your family’s life, nice to have somewhere to get away from city life. Your dad so practical at everything in life. You both have a strong bond together.
Slav Ukraini! Much love from Louisiana. Watching your dad tend his family home reminds me of my grandmother at her cabin in the woods. She was raised on a farm and taught me all the old ways. His village store reminds me of the gas station my aunt worked at for a time, also in the woods. Similar items and arrangement. Hugs to you and your family, including Jack. 💖🎄
Hello Pavlo , Say Hello to dad ! Looks like you and dad enjoyed your time together ! Say Hello to mom also ! I know girlfriend and Jack will be happy when you get back ! I feel like I know you all personally ! Sending much Love and Prayers !
It's cold here as well pavlo ,be careful chaps , daft saying I know ,but Kiev is a target not like the farm regions ,enjoy trip with dad , hope Luba's safe 🙌
Hey Pavlo. Good to see you managed to avoid conscription squads. I have seen many videos of Ukrainian men being forcibly dragged off the streets and put into vans by enlistment goons. Some even beaten up if they don't go willingly. You would be wise to stay in countryside farm where you are safe from them. Also I suggest you avoid going in public places or using public transport. Good luck. Cheers from Canada.
Thanks for the update Pavlo. Hope you guys have some fun at the country house. I no longer have my dad so I know how precious this time spent with him must be for the two of you. God bless and keep your family always safe. Do I see the Kalyna at 16:14??😍Love from Canada.💙💛❤💪🤛Cheers!!!!!
Seems so far Ukraine has been lucky by snowfall, Southern Germany and Slovenija was blitzed to almost a standstill with up to 2 meters of snowfall in 12 hours plus gale force winds. Heer in the UK limited snowfall and where I am in Aberdeen - zero snowfall as yet. Cheers Pavlo and your Dad and Uncle - stay safe!!
Nice to spend time with your Dad and to help complete projects before the winter when snow stays and no longer melts. I saw Ukraine had a big snowstorm recently hope everyone stays warm and safe! Ukraine is beautiful both cities and villages very nice place to be proud to call home 💛💙💛💙
It was good to see you and your father spending time together. Always enjoy seeing the country side and cities of Ukraine. Peace for all and good health. Hope you and family stay safe.
That was a wonderful video; spending time with your dad and all....Such a beautiful village,house,etc....loved the SNOW!!! Hello to everyone. Stay well and safe. GOD bless
I wish y'all would make more videos. Maybe just about your every day life. Watching your videos is a way for me to travel and feel like I'm with my overseas friends. Even if the videos are y'all walking around and going to the store. I enjoy them and hope you'll make more often.
I love seeing how other families live, your house looks pretty cozy even tho it’s cold outside. I lived in the Philippines and it’s just hot all day and AC is expensive… I love simple houses and easy living. Thank you for sharing the life in your neighborhood.
16.29 walking down the street, I am thinking of a popular song here in the US--"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire" very fitting song for this weather.
For that smell, there's a chemical product, that can be had at DIY construction stores, that dehumidifies the air. That robs the mold of the moisture it needs to grow. _(It's like a coarse salt, that you place in an open bowl. Then just set somewhere in the room. Then when you come back in a week or so, the bowl is full of water, and no granules are left.)_ Doing so will help prevent all the mold and water damage, that happens in an empty house. _(And, it will usually take 48 hours to get such a brick house fully warmed up... they are slow to warm up, and slow to cool down.)_ Yes, you get use to the cold. Think about the medieval monks who lived in buildings without a pitch, and nothing but a curtain over their window. Just while you can get use to the cold, your house _(especially furniture)_ can't. I'm glad you got the dacha in shape. *_If_* this year the orcs do their damage again, you'll be better prepared. If the power goes out, I'd rather live in the dacha, than in some high-rise apartment complex. The piches that you have, a couple of oil lanterns, food stored up, and I'd weather out the winter, like a bug in a rug.
Hej from Denmark 🇩🇰 Thank you to show your country. In Denmark we just have snow. It is about 10 years since we have snow in the hole country. We are dreaming about white Christmas 🎄🎄💙💛🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤🎄🎄
those big wall/stoves are pretty interesting. I love the trips around Ukraine it looks like anywhere USA. The more you show it the more I want to visit, it looks really nice. 💛💙💛💙
I was wondering if you and Luba and your parents have jobs ? Todays video is different that most others. Kyiv is very modern, cars, buildings, traffic. You dad has a modern nice car and this summer house is not bad. When I watch your videos I realize how great life is for me in America. I enjoy seeing how life is in your country and hope you all stay well...
Currently in the kitchen of my tenement flat in Glasgow it is 11.7C 😂 and thats after ive been cooking! Your dad is right, you do get used to the cold! Your footage of Kyiv at the beginning was wonderful. I really hope to visit one day. I also hope to visit Mykolaiv, as my city has just been twinned with it! Stay safe Pavlo and family ❤
I laughed when you said the people had to go a couple of kilometer to the subway. We don't have subway trains where I live. But, we have Subway sandwiches. I thought they were going for food.
Watching from Scotland , we have had some -5,s here , living in an older property in winter is never easy ..i do .. winter it wont last forever. Stay safe .
Love your videos. I was in Ukraine last year and loved it. I hope you both wear seat belts in the car especially with all the potholes on the country roads.
Thanks for the videos. Much appreciated. Both you and your father seem like really good people. Hopefully the war ends soon and everyone can live happily in peace. Thank you 🙏
Always good to see you Pavlo. Great to see you spending time with your dad although, of course, we do miss the girls Luba and your mum too. Take care all of you. Love and respect from the UK.
Always great to see your father, he's a great guy. Funny. Would be interesting to hear more of his early life growing up "Soviet". Thanks for taking us along!
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Where is this summer house that your father grew up in? Was it South of Kyiv? I would live to come live in one of the empty homes in that village. I could watch a 2 hour video from you about your life in Ukraine.

I have that kind of ladder also. Well, very similar to that one. It's much older and doesn't have those stabilizers on the bottom. But they are so versatile and very convenient. Tip: keep the levers and locking mechanisms lubricated. When they freeze up from dirt or corrosion it is _not fun._ Thanks for posting this video. 👍
I love your large stoves that you sleep on them you should make it wider so you can put 2 queen size beds on top on each side? No beds in the room needed? You would have all that open space to do hobbies or make drones? Or something in the rooms! I also love your big mud/ sun room to take your skies off and put a bench to sit and smoke or grow vegetables on the counter around the windows?

I live in America now. Was born in Poland, and watching these videos reminds me of my childhood. Thank you.
