At 8 minutes...that looks like a dough trough to me. You would mix the dough in there then leave it to leaven. They were used continually as you would then take the dough needed for baking and leave a portion of dough in to help start the next batch... mix your next batch leave overnight...ad infinitum. A marvellous find!

I could be... but it could also be used to make the "chorizos". In many portuguese and spanish houses we use this to mix the pork meats, the fat, the herbs and paprika, and then we put it all into the pig's intestine.
Maybe was used for both popouses, who knows 🤣

The tub is for making bread to hold the bread dough!
The shoots look like they were made to hold the flour forThe breadmaking. That explains why they have such a lot of wood stored in that little shed right next to the community oven. That would explain why you have two kitchens! Love that you can make your own wine from the grapes and the fruit trees and I love that you have olive trees! Love the idea of setting up your own swimming pool!🥰

Completely seal that old wood before putting it outside. It is going to be very dry and inclined to absorb water without a full seal. You can use aerosol cans for application, but do clean it very well first without using water. It would really he best restored and kept inside after sealing or priming, painting or staining with an oil application afterwards, or sealing.
