One thing is to watch and another to live in the village. You watch and think that someone will make meal, clean backyards, produce vegetables.. One thing is to be a turist and another to do all jobs aroung house. How do you mean how to make money? Hard and very hard work can produce money. Because of that many people leave villages and move to cities.

The word "Ukrainian" would be used to refer to the language or as an adjective indicating that something was from Ukraine. But the bottom line is that I suspect we all know what's being said.

The mall scenes are very interesting. Your mall seems so vibrant and busy. Malls here in the USA are slowly closing. Many are abandoned. Some still do a good business, but not like years ago.
Your father is somebody I would like to sit down and talk to. I'm 71 years old. I'm sure he has some great stories.

Greetings from Canada. Your lifestyle is inspiring. In North America there is an abundance of everything, but many people are not happy. From your videos, it appears that the people in your life have their priorities aligned correctly. You seem to value family. The small apartments look very cozy and full of life. You dinner spread looks lovely. It's very nice to see the small details of life in another country, not just the flashy cool stuff. I find it very interesting that the oven appears to be in the bedroom? Thank you for sharing your life.
This reminds me of some areas of old Portugal. My parents grew up simple but they had plenty of wine and music to forget about what they didn't have. I have great respect for hardworking people. Great character and warm hearts.

I'm from Serbia and I work abroad right now. This hits so close to home. The architecture, the way your parent's house looks, your family that looks just like mine, the way people are dressed, what people do day to day, the food, everything is so similar in Serbia. This video made me so happy! ❤️

Its so good seeing your mother and father Pavlo. Tell them please, thank you for allowing us to visit your home. The cake your mother made looks delicious! I gained 10 pounds just thinking about eating a piece. Everything looked delicious. I am in St Louis Missouri, it is 1030 in the evening. Now i will need to eat before going to bed because now i am hungry! It is about 40 degrees, very warm for this time of year. About midnight last night it was 71 degrees a record warm temperature. This is why we had bad storms and high winds because this is very warm. When the temperatures go up and down storms and high winds can start. A whole town was destroyed in Kentucky. The town was leveled to nothing and mostly the wind blew it away. Winds up to 145 to 165 miles an hour. Thank you for your video. I enjoyed it very much. Enjoy your day. 😘
My family moved to the United States during WWII.. They were originally from a small village on the Poland/ Ukraine border.. A lot of the food that I see your mother and your girlfriend prepare in your videos.. Are the same dishes that my grandmother used to prepare for my family.. Babka is still one of my all time favorite foods to eat.. Hopefully one day soon I will be able to visit your part of the world and see the land where my family comes from.. The whole world is supporting and praying for Ukraine.. I hope you and your family are safe..

So interesting to see how everyone lives the Ukraine! It's so different than here in America. We don't have a bed in every room. Lol we have rooms dedicated to beds. We call them bedrooms.

Thank you Pavlo, your video has brought back some really good memories from my past, My father who was from Radzionków, Poland, settled in the UK after WW2, I remember as a child, he made a lot of wine using the exact method your dad makes, I still have some of his wine made in the 1960s, hope it's still ok.🙂

My wife’s parents used to make balloon wine. Just like your folk’s bottle with the glove on top. When the balloon slowly fills with CO2, then slowly deflates , the wine is done. I like the visits to see home life in Ukraine. Thanks for always letting us meet your family and friends.

Remarkable visit showing the beautiful location by the water with many great sandy beaches. A virtual paradise. The living quarters may be in old buildings but the Ukrainian
life style more than makes up for any lack of opulence in material things. Your parents are very pleasant and self sufficient like most of your people. The food quantity and quality is amazing. Praying that the war in your country ends quickly. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🍜🍜👍❤

My grandmother came to Canada from Ukraine as a child in early 1900’s.
Her community was mostly Ukrainian. She lived in a village of about 100 people - with no running water until the 1960’s.
We would visit several times a year.
Her meals looked a lot like the meals you guys are eating. Only with less fish and more kielbasa and sometimes jelly meat ((head cheese) or holodets). There was also borscht, vareniki (sweet, cabbage, potato, and others), cabbage rolls (holubtsi), potato salad, and my favourite - nalesniki! There were always sweet beet pickles, sweet pickles, and garlic pickles. The vareniki were eaten with sour cream, or diced onions fried in butter. The nalesniki would be covered in fresh cream. Desert would be things like a carrot pudding or tarts or rhubarb and strawberry pie. Like magic, things would appear on the table - brought up from her root cellar under the house.
It looks like a lot of the food traditions were carried on in my part of the world.

Your Mother made such a fantastic meal! You should have explained what each one was. Also you show us 1 of her traditional family dishes and how she makes it.
You have to remember in North America we buy most of our food already made. So seeing traditional cooking exspecially Ukrainian is pretty rare.
And nice, too! But, I'm a lucky man. My wife likes to cook. She feeds me every day, once a day. It keeps me looking forward to the next day so I can eat again.😜
