This may be unrelated to the video but I was just watching a documentary on a local tv channel about a bunch of middle aged women starting punk rock bands in Leicester (UK) and I thought: This could be Mira.

As I was listening to your commentary, I realized the reason why being part of a community like yours is so rewarding. We are all so similar in our struggle to gain control over our homes and our lives. We all start from a place of overwhelm and shame. We come out of our isolation out of desperation to find a whole world of people just like us, waiting with anticipation to cheer us on. THEN, we feel the acceptance and encouragement to move forward. It's been an honor to have you join us in our collective fight to get our lives back. ❤

I have mobility problems and I struggle mentally and physically with my day to day housework because I can't keep things as I used to and on days when I am in a lot of pain Mira has shown me that even just a little bit at a time helps 😊. I love what you called out as your biggest accomplishment. This may sound weird from a complete stranger but I am SO PROUD of you! Everything from working through a small area at a time, continuing through lack of motivation or desire, working through a panic attack, sharing your thoughts, being so relatable, adding the extra text commentary, grieving for two super important loves, your ability to persevere, your sense of humor, showing us outcomes from your crafts and intended projects, and seeing your taste (strangely or not…I have many of the same brands and habits). Keep strong in all you do. Please remember to praise yourself for EVERYTHING you are doing. It personally helps keep me focused on maintaining a better and more positive attitude overall.

I came across your channel after Bonnie mentioning your channel in one of her videos. I enjoy your videos. It’s okay to make your videos you. Yes there’s times when I like music over videos and there’s times when I like voice overs.
People like you, who take the time to document your journey, help people like me learn and understand the mental and physical health components linked to "clutter." I used to be a judgey a-hole, now I know better. Now i know none of us are immune, it could just as easily be me.

I am working on getting decluttered as best I can one small space at a time. The hardest part is breaking it down into smaller pieces. I look at the big pile and know I don’t have the energy to do it all right then and get discouraged. It’s all small steps and any progress is good.
I also work full time an my job can be physically and mentally demanding sometimes and at night my energy is very low.
But a few minutes of clearing the kitchen counter, cleaning litter boxes, and folding a load of laundry every day and I have to tell myself that THAT is still progress.
I will get there, and hugs to anyone else that feels overwhelmed.
You absolutely will get there! Small pieces at a time still get things done. Hugs to you!

Visualize your items might work for you but keep in mind that open shelves will collect dust. So you need to invest more time in cleaning/dusting.
Probably another option could be installing glass doors 😉 to display your collections and crafting materials. Even using transparent storing containers with lids could be helpful for storing.
