You know he's a professional when you watch all the pipes belch out absolutely perfectly matched puffs of smoke... Perfectly matched in color, velocity, tone, and moisture content... Even without a consistent rev, just burps... Hands down the most precise 2stroke engine I've ever heard...
2T warm ups always give me mixed feelings. On one hand who doesn't love twostroke? On the other it reminds me of 18 year old me waiting for my bike to warm up on a cold January morning so I could go to work.

One of the best races ever was with this bike and fast Freddie Spencer and King Kenny Roberts on the Marlboro Yamaha. They were back and forth in the lead to the very end. Two Americans in the European Grand Prix in the early 80s. Total American domination with Randy Mamola on the Suzuki, Eddy Lawson and all those great riders back in the day.

Honda is such a cool company. Vows to never make 2-strokes, builds insane 4-stroke race bikes to compete against them (20k rpm RC166 and oval piston V-4), gives up, and then proceeds to make some of the best 2-stroke bikes ever made.
Problem is so many younger riders never knew the thrill of that 2 stroke when it came on the pipe and went from sporty to satan killing crazy in one flat second.ahhhh the good old days

They had light switch powerband, only the best could ride them to their limits. I doubt todays riders growi g up on 4 strokes could ride one within 5 seconds a lap.of the old boys. Total beast, no forgiving no traction or wheelie control other than skill and feel, both lacking int todays gp riders

The Freddy Spencer got that one,at 1984.,and in same yare,he got a titul,it was stongest machine of others,class in front,poor Lowson trie in full trottle,but nothing can do.I look theirs in Rieka 1984.Wonderfull.
