I have a set of TZ pipes on my RD 350 track bike and they work and sound great. A friend of mine found them in Japan in the 80s and shipped them over for me.

Dans ma jeunesse, j'étais plutôt 4 temps (450 Honda en 72 ), pour mon utilisation. Mais il faut avoué, se boom du moteur deux temps n'a rien de pareil. Merci.
Warum werden immer Gasstöße gegeben? Sind das nicht Stöße auf die Kurbelwelle und Lager? Das muss einen tieferen Sinn haben, was ist der tiefere Sinn von den ständigen Gasstößen? LG Ralf (Autofahrer 😎 )
First bike is a '91 TZ250 not a '90 which was a 180* twin with both pipes routed under the tail. Only way that bike is a '90 is if it's the factory bike John Kocinski rode to the 250 championship in 1990 which I doubt.
Blipping the throttle provides more oil lubrication as they're warming up the engine to operating temps.I believe helps to avoid fouled spark plugs as well.But don't quote me on that one,just a guess...
I love Yamahas I had 4 Yamaha DTR s in the 90s/2000s I modified one an it was faster than a fast 89 CR an could kill a KX on top an bottom end nobody had see a DT125R like what I had before I still dream about that bike
Best machines ever made. Even a 2 stoke weed wacked gives me a boner. I'm so glad I got to own so many 2 stroke bikes over 5he last 50 years, starting with kawi triples in the 1970s, my last bike was a awesome 1994 TZR 250 in kenny roberts paint!
1985 Rd/Rz 350 definitely didn't come with usd forks beefy alloy swing arm wide 17in wheels or Modern brakes Probably better with them though mostly nice Machines MZ seems a bit boring !!
It was the earlier RS125’s which ran a butchered mx engine, ‘95 onwards the whole bike was redesigned and motor-wise they ran a specific road racing design with balance shaft, cassette gearbox etc. The older mx based motor still had the kickstart hole blanked in clutch casing, engine mount cut off the cylinder head, frame cut out to fit a bigger carb and so on 👍
There needs to be a parade lap of old two strokes at every moto gp, so the younger generation can hear what they missed out on
Issue is, once they get to know this, they will leave when the actual race happens as it's nowhere near as exciting lol
