Man! His voice is still there!
His voice is as gorgeous as ever! There is sometimes a tiny tiny shaking in the pitch, but overall .... absolutely stunning for a 78 year old person. Real voice, real music!
Right..? sounds exactly the same to me.. i had the same experience seeing Peter Gabriel yeesh...10y ago now after waiting to see him for 20y. lol, he sounded just like he did 20y before.
I love the tune, Bruce Cockburn at a youthful age of 78 delivers magnificently 🎶😊
I just picture an audience swaying and singing softly ... a moment of peace in the world !!
Bruce, sounding better than ever! Fond memories of performing with him in 1978. Lovely.
Wow! I know that and this was and are special.
Thanks a goodun there. Much appreciation! I can start my Monday with a warm smile now.
Lol As soon as he starts singing I smile. And immediately feel better. That's BC.
I absolutely love it!!
Ah, Master Cockburn! As a musician this self, YOU are my favorite artist- on ALL counts- of all! Thank you for Being!~~~
The likes of which may never be seen again.
First saw Bruce at Martha’s in downtown St. John’s in Newfoundland.
He is a national treasure.
Seems like yesterday that he wrote this 🤗✌🏽❤️
Wasn’t it? 😊
This just makes me happy. A lovely respite from a turbulent world.
Thinkin' about eternity.
I saw him LIVE years ago, Boulder Theatre, I'll never forget it. He was young !
Some kinda ecstasy got a hold on me. 😊
This was the song that opened my ears to Bruce’s music all those years ago. To see him do it live like this is something really special. Awesome, just freakin’ awesome. Thank you Bruce & thank you Shonana.
Oh my it’s soooo good to hear this track from a true Canadian hero. Ran into him many years ago just walking along in Toronto. Chatted for a moment. So friendly. Thanks Bruce. Be well.
Absolute legend.
This cat .bring warmth to the hearth. We’re not alone.😊
Wow so nice, thanks for sharing, nicely captured. He still has his voice and picking ability. I remember when this song came out. My kids were little and I would play it for them.
❤
amazing "woe"..
thank you Bruce..🎸🎸🎸🎸🤙🤙✌👏
Wunderschön, eine verzauberte Atmosphäre hier...man möchte glatt dabeisein...ein Sänger mit Charisma, dieser Bruce Cockburn.....Danke...🌻...
🎶🎼🎵🎤💯...
I’ve seen him play this on this guitar. Love you Bruce! 🙏🏼
Such a beautiful song. It always lifts my mood.
Playing acoustic shows off his guitar skills best. His first few albums really demonstrate that.
High Winds and White Skies is a deep favorite.
Yeah! Great. Still beautiful and meaningful music from Bruce. Blessings from Sweden
I was wondering where Bruce Cockburn was? Sure nice to hear him again.
You sang & we were entranced.
Ah magical moment 🧡
That was GREAT! Thank you, Shohana!
It is great to see him playing live. I had a ticket to see him in 2020 but covid-19 cancelled that.
Bruce cockburn è come il vino vecchio. È sempre un piacere sentirlo l'ultimo album è bellissimo ❤
👂 🌎 ❤
Molt bonic , l'enhorabona
He got older, I guess I did too, great guitarist, time flies.
Most Wonderful, Thx Bruce . . .
That was So Great!!!
Thanks for the trip back to 1980 ! Miss the drums but dig the echo👍
❤❤❤
I had no idea David Letterman took up guitar and singing in his retirement ...
Kidding of course. Bruce still sounds amazing. A Canadian treasure.
Reminiscent of "Love at the Five and Dime" (Kathy Mattea).
Someone approached Bruce after a concert and said how he liked his cover of Waiting For A Miracle as the fan in question just finished watching Jerry Garcia's (cover) version.. 😂 😉
Brudda! Fancy meeting you here.
Still has his voice and chops but in a deeper way.
How beautiful. Thank you for posting this.
Got a hold on me….yes you do
I saw that...
He looks like David Letterman these days lol, but man, he hasn't lost a thing off his voice, still sounds like he did in 1979!
"but not a real green guitar, that's cruel"
😂
My Face is Leaking
❤🇨🇦 died and went to heaven listening to this at the Filberg in Comox BC 2007
