Do be careful with that USB flash drive. It can do an infinite number of reads, as we all know, but writes are pretty limited, especially with the decreasing quality of eMMC flash memory in SD cards and USB drives. Highly recommend a cheap SSD, even if it's a SATA III SSD. Also, for getting Wii remotes to work: 1) The main button inputs are actually communicated via Bluetooth! That's why there's a sync button on the controller. In order to pair it, you need to press and hold the sync button until the player lights flash. Then use the **Control Panel** to "Add a new device". It should be called something like Nintendo RVL-CNT or similar. It might ask for a password, usually 1234 or 0000 works. 2) The Wii's motion controls are based on the IR sensor bar. One specific SKU of the sensor bar runs on around 5V, which is the same as a USB port. But you can use any sort of IR LED setup, since I discovered that the motion controls can even work using the Windows Hello IR face scanner on a friend's laptop. (Now that was funny to discover!)
I bought a lot of 10 Chromebooks for 90 and matching chargers for 10. Took some elbow grease because of some locks to stop mods, but I turned them into emulation machines. The hard drive size and some of the usbs being broken were the only limitations. I still had hundreds of great games on it

Well Done, but I would highly recommend getting a cheap 128g/256g SSD. Very easy to make a Clone once you have it set up for the first time, Any New systems setup with the Clone SSD just as easily as the USB, with higher speeds and really not much extra cost.
These things are amazing value for the price, absolutely love them and been wanting to get my hands on one to make a retro gaming console but sadly, where I live they are weirdly overpriced and even the most specced down model with a 3rd gen i3 will cost about 100 USD+ when converted : (
I'm in the graphic designer world and printing field and I can tell you one thing, you can get very creative with this. You can actually do both. You can get very inexpensive cans of prim coat clear and matte white then after the chassis is completely dry you can put a nice vinyl decal or decals however you wish. It's really not hard at all to do.@@JasonWitmerYT
You probably didn't get the SCPH bios files from the wizards online for ps2/ps1 games to run on emulators since no emulator will come with it as a high risk for lawsuit from sony if a raspberry pi4 can run ps1/2 games though choppy I can't see why yours cant

this is an awesome budget retro console I have one set up in my living room.
I purchased a hp pro desk for that same purpose. I love batocera and it runs fantastic on all of my PC.

For connecting a wiimote to a computer all you need is bluetooth. If you want to use the sensor bar you can find USB ones for about $8-$10

Ps2 gaming works on these. You just need dual channel ram sticks as they rely on the igpu.
