I once played DnD with a guy who smoked a lot a weed on his free time and he would not stfu about how playing on an emulator was so much better than playing on the actual console. After seeing the emulator die in this video, I think there's a connection between his statements and how 420 blazed out of his own God damned mind he gets on his free time.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone ever say an emulator is better before. Not to mention, every video I’ve seen where one’s used, they tend to lag or glitch regardless of how good the PC is.
That guy wakes up on the floor, checks his phone and sees he texted his ex and he’s just like: Did I really say playing on an emulator was better than playing on the actual thing?
I don't think the weed had anything to do with it, guy's just an idiot. Who the hell would rather use an emulator than the original console?
@@willowism there are reasons actually, stuff such as region locked games and they are easier to get compared to some consoles also have you ever seen for how much some classic games go for?
@@willowism depends on the emulator and what you're emulating it on, too. If you're playing something particularly old, say... SNES? those emulators have been matched down to the clock cycle just about at this point, so you'd have to be *real* hardcore to notice anything. That, and maintaining some consoles is painfully expensive as the hardware slowly runs out. So if you like obscure stuff, there's that, too. PS2 and PS3 are a bit finicky to emulate, N64 is pretty reliable, and PSX and older *is* straight up better 99.9% of the time (two words, Save States, lol)
pretty much anything in the 8 and 16 bit era is perfectly playable, and for certain things, like lightgun games, is the only way you're still playing them unless you've still got your CRT around and it works.

Fun fact: this game came included with a custom PS4 order that included Star Wars Battlefront 2015. Star Wars Bounty Hunter was a PS2 game originally. Graphics aged terribly.

Jango was a Mandalorian, the Mand'alor, in fact. key word being "was", as he left the Mando'ade after watching every one of his men get slaughtered by Jedi in the battle of Galidraan. (obviously not canon, but there's currently nothing major that conflicts with it, so it could still fit into canon with a few minor adjustments. all this happened in a comic that was released alongside this game btw, its called "Open Seasons" and I highly recommend reading it.)

There's so many too. Knights of the Old Republic, Clone Wars, OG Battlefront 2, Rouge Squadron... It's kind of sad that 1313 was cancelled with Battlefront 3... 1313 could've been better than Fallen Order
Star Wars games are still good though? EA Battlefront and EA Battlefront 2 were amazing, Fallen Order was decent, and Jedi Survivor is amazing.
The issue is that they aren't making more of them. Whoever's running Lucasarts is making a HUGE mistake not capitalizing on Star Wars games. They're missing out on millions of dollars.

@@purugigi I liked EA Battlefront 2015 (I think that's when it came out?) a lot by the time the Cloud City DLC came out. My cousin and I spent so many hours playing that game. We loved it.
It just had a certain feel to it, and by the time all of the DLC had rolled out, it was an amazing game with so many things to do and ways to play.
BUT an online shooter (unless it's live service) should be good out of the gate. I fully agree that it was rushed, and I remember feeling pretty scammed when it first released.

So fun fact, the sword and shield at 1:47 is from another Lucasfilms game, Gladius which was a strategy/fighting/fantasy Roman gladiator type game, also for the PS2. 8.5/10 game in my opinion.
