The two dung beetles fighting over a ball that then gets destroyed by an arrow that had nothing to do with them is a nice metaphor for the pointlessness of so many wars.
Is it only me or does anyone else believe that the dung beetle shown in the beginning signifies Khepri, the first appearance of Sun deity Ra who rolls the 'Dungball' (Sun) into the sky? The association becomes more stronger with the beetle disappearing as soon as it sees the sun while resting on the Pharaoh's finger signifying divine grace
What a pity that only crumbs of its culture, architecture and art remain from ancient Egypt. Ancient Egypt is dead, but archaeologists have revived it like Osiris and now we can play different games on this topic, enjoy it and argue about their historicity

If you look at reviews on UA-cam the issue they bring up are simply pharaoh total war straying away from what made the total war series good. Features in previous games are not present in pharaoh.
