What a cliffhanger! :) Thanks Courtney. Can't wait to hear about the techniques. I work with typically developing preschool kids, but they exhibit many of these behaviors (even the toe-walking).

dear ITS i dont know why you think i do these things becouse i like them. i cry at night knowing how evrey one is weirded out by me and doesent like me. i would trade my hands for a chance to not be atistic but i cant. and dont say join apa it will make me more scared and a push over. at lease i have confadance to stand up for myself.

+Aidan Ives (grey) This video was meant as a general overview of what we believe to be 4 reasons why behaviors happen. We didn't mean to offend you and we would never be weirded out by you. We think it's awesome that you are standing up for yourself and telling your opinions! Thank you for that and thanks for commenting! :)

I have autism. But, I never got ABA therapy (or any therapy for that matter), for it. So, I am left as an adult with struggling against my autistic behaviors with whst my mom taught me was right and proper to do. And my rage is severe (still) without meds, but still present some with meds. I don't feel as though I can completely control it. What would you suggest?

I'm sorry that you're having a hard time. Some agencies provide ABA services to adults with autism. You can look at info.bacb.com to find BCBA's in your area. Also try autismspeaks.org and click on adults under the "by age" menu. In addition, under the family and adults tab, there is a menu to find resources in your area. Hopefully that helps! Thanks so much for reaching out!

Hello! I'm not sure where you live, but what about talking with your child's IEP team to discuss your concerns? Does your child have an IEP team?
