    Hi Rubeauti,
Thank you for sharing your home neighborhood with us-these videos are my favorites.
Listening to these province people reenforces what I thought the times I was in the PI-that Filipino people are some of the nicest, kindest people in the world. I admire and respect love of family as well as the continuous optimism of your culture.
    Best wishes.
    Rick
P.S. Your young friend shows wisdom beyond that of the average 22 year old.

Foreigner women are picky. They want tall men who are socially connected and wealthy.

Thank you Rubeauti! That was a very special, and personal video. Shaina is very brave, and mature for her young age. I hope she continues to never live her life just to be accepted by other people because her life will always be unhappy. Follow your heart always... 🙂

    • @puppyupper4565
      @puppyupper4565 2 роки тому

I think Jeffrey Dahmer always followed his heart. So did Pol Pot. I dont have judgment for Shaina. She is just a kid. But dear Ray, following your heart is not always the best thing. Take for example the consequences of a country with some of the richest natural resources and combine that will people who follow their heart. The Philippines should be one of the richest countries on the planet. They have incredible natural resources. An educated and english speaking population, yet they are among the poorest is SE Asia, even behind communist Vietnam. The problem with the Filipinos is that they are left leaning. They follow their heart and vote for leftists who have given away the wealth of the Philippines with good intentions.
Leftists eventually destroy everything they touch. There are thousands of examples in the Philippines. But here is an easy example of when you follow your heart, it can turn to crap: The Filipino Gov, in its good but ignorant intention to keep rice affordable have set price controls on rice below the market price for years. So the Filipino farmer is limited in what he can charge for rice, it matters not what it cost him, only that he can not sell it above a certain point. This has caused a shortage of rice in the Philippines because a farmer can not sell rice for less than his costs. So the leftist solution in the Philippines is to import rice at the market price from Thailand, Vietnam and the USA. The Filipino gov would rather pay an American rice farmer millions of dollars to buy expensive equipment to grow and harvest that rice than allow a Filipino rice farmer to make a decent profit.
Just think about how absurd and dangerous that is. Instead of keeping that money in the Philippines where it would grow and build, they are giving the money to other countries so they can grow and build. This robs the wealth of the Philippines for no good reason. The rice ends up actually costing more than the market price because of inefficiencies in shipping rice thousands of miles across and ocean. And then it puts the country at great risk of markets being manipulated since the Philippines grows more dependent on foreign rice each year which hurts the trade deficit which causes inflation. All of that totally and inexcusably damaging because of leftists kind hearts. Foolishness to the core. And that is just rice, they do this with so many things. Sadly a worldwide economic depression is coming. And the Philippines can't even grow enough rice to feed its people. No way will they afford shipping costs during the depression. You will see millions of people starving in the Philippines due to good intentions of the heart.

I think that there is often more strength, vitality, and joy in those people who refuse to live in the stressful situation of city life. You might work harder, but you're more likely to see that work as meaningful when you make some tangible object, build something, hunt, fish, and farm your own food, etc. It makes a stronger people and experience tells me that such are more grateful and more charitable than those in the cities.

My in-laws are waaaay out in the provinces... When I go visit, the kids stand out on the street for a chance to see the American. They giggle & run away! I find it cute. When I move to the PH, though, I must admit I'm probably moving to Manila. Not much for the fish & rice diet 3x a day. MAYBE I'd move to Masbate City, since 1) there are ferries & the airport nearby, and 2) Jollibee & McDonald's are there. But having lived in NYC most of my life, I like city life suits me. God Bless you all, my PH fam!

But still after giving up on western women who are a lost cause who knows maybe a nice filippina would make a world of difference.

I think many of us were surprised to find that some old traditions may be changing with the current generation, just as you were. Do you think this is due to the spread of the Internet and smart phones maybe? In any case, it is an indication that people may be more accepting of views/opinions and personal relationships (like significant age difference and foreigner relationships) than I had previously thought or feared to some extent. Well done! 😊

If people just eat vegetables and fruit and rice and potatoes, they won't get sick and will stay slim. It's very easy to do, I've done it for years. I'm 62 and never get sick!

Have visited Capas Tarlac and Cristo Rey. I prefer the simple province life myself. It is the same in the province areas in America, people are nicer.

Great video. I hope her parents don’t put her out. I know they will be disappointed. By the way you are very elegant. Great interviewing skills. What I love about you. You are not ashamed of your background. That makes you shine even brighter. Have a wonderful day

Totally understand the people there. I grew up in a small place and I love the little towns. Blessings to your young friend, I hope she stays with her girlfriend and they get enough money for artificial insemination. They sound a loving and lovely couple. Thank you for telling us these stories lovely Rubeauti! My Sunday has big smiles and warm feelings in it now! ❤️🥰
