    Okay, As a chef and lover of all things, 'ocean' this resort is on my bucket list.
    Being from South Louisiana, I love eating right out of the water. Oysters, scallops, and uni. The umami is the purest in nature. LOVE IT. Looking forward to retiring in the Philippines.

    I've been on Negros Island 9 years now. I'm still getting to know these magical islands. The neon green scenery, the beautiful weather, the warmth of its people, the miles of untouched tropical coastline, the pervasive vibe of deep peace. In my working career in the United States I used to travel to Hawaii on business frequently. The Philippines is fully the equal of those U.S islands. Best move of my adult life was ditching Los Angeles and retiring here.

      It's so easy to ditch California! Crazy high cost of living. I live next door in Arizona, and u cross state line into California or Nevada, and prices of everything doubles.

    I’ve watched your videos for a year. I’ve met my Filipina, been to PH twice, and we traveled when there. I’m bringing her back to Florida with me. We’re getting married (K1). She’s smart gorgeous, petite, love her accent, friendly, and we laugh all the time together. Chad, you’ve really found your groove and I enjoy watching your videos more than ever. You’re teaching us things. Thank you for sharing your experiences and encouraging us to see the big wide world around us

      I understand what you are saying. You may be right and you may be wrong. Regardless, I have changed over the years too. I’m not going to let someone else’s experience dictate my own life. My Filipina will change. I will change. I still have to live life. And I’m sure not going back to Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge in America because that ain’t pretty either. Enjoy my friend.     Enjoy and have fun while you still could able to travel around. I’m retired but I have to guide and be with my 14 yrs old daughter here on US. My retirement are more than enough to leave in PI but not here in US especially in California

I had all kinds of great biking memories come flooding in while watching. It is true, nothing creates adventure like being on two wheels on the open road, or path in this case. Amazing Chad, and I am hearing the call! My place here in Savannah goes up for rent next week… already looking at flights.

    great video, now after living here in the PI for 12 years now, let me caution you, there is a big difference in how you are treated, you will be treated the best if seen as a tourists. People go out of their way for you, but if they know you are a resident, big change and it isn’t a positive one. But overall much better than most places I have lived in Asia and the US.

    Are you navigating with a Filipono SIM card on your phone? I have heard Philippines has poor wifi but I don't know if that includes data coverage. When time I will research more on that. Planning a visit. Great video! Very inspiring!

    Southern leyte is a gem. The mountains are so beautiful too.
    Water sooo clear in the south.
    A 125 enduro style bike will cost around P 100000.
    The smaller bikes you can put on the bankas like kuja here did. Makes your possibilities for adventure even greater.

    Do they boil the urchins alive? I know they do with lobster and shrimp and I won't eat them because of that. I wonder where the sewer goes... Wow those girls didn't know you and right away they did all of that with you? So nice!! It seems calm seas around there. Do they go surfing anywhere?

    When I was in PH I never tried sea urchins but I saw a few dead ones. It was a really nice low-tide encounter you got there, the girl was so polite and friendly, just like you. Thanks for the vlog.

    No way I would eat anything out of the water. My Filipina and I spent Feb 2024 there. Mostly Manila and Gen. E Aquinaldo. My health doesn’t allow me to do the things you do so I love watching your adventures! I also don’t eat much food while there either. I lost 20 pounds on this trip.     I love the Philippines but they are so destructive to their coastal environment. There are very few fish left as everything is harvested before it has had a chance to reach adulthood and breed to replace their populations.

      They’re not friendly but not typically mean/rude but yeah when they see a foreigner it’s just dollar signs 70% of the time.
      PH is pretty much a 💩 hole, because of the people. Imagine if PH had nobody or just had Japanese/Asians controlling it, it would be a billion times better and sophisticated in 2024

From fishing for their dinner in the ocean nearby and sharing it with their friends and family with fun and laughter. What a great way of life.     Did you get a electric scooter? Much better investment though. Electric scooter is much lighter also 👌 what i mean by that is electric scooter kick start where you standing on deck or Goped this is cheaper investment.

      Yeah I felt it I was watching the sunset when it happened I thought I was dizzy or something was wrong with me but it was the ground moving, spooky

      @@ChadFosterExplores happened to me my first time ever this past March, 9th floor 5.2 scared the ever-livin outta me, bolted downstairs with my wife and a single lonely guy there from another room on business (with other employees staying in other rooms)

    Yep that’s why Americans never really travel …really travel because they go no where or to the same location the magazine tells them. Very sad. 35 countries and counting and mostly off the beaten path. Keep inspiring Chad!

    Chad what model Suzuki is that? Did you buy it new? CC’s? Do you mind sharing what it cost? I’m moving there in Jan 25 and the first thing on my lister after lodging is a scooter

      Suzuki burgman 125, 7k km, $950, i recommend getting your motorcycle code on your DL before coming

      @@ChadFosterExplores Thanks Chad. I have had my M/C license all of my life and I recently got my International license with the M/C endorsement. I was planning on getting a Honda ADV160 but I must admit $950 vs $3800 is very attractive. Thanks for the info, see you soon
