      Maybe it’s because he’s not as smart as either. Tony’s not in the same league as Reed Richard’s or even Hank Pym and Peter isn’t in Stark’s league. Maybe if Peter spent more time on his science career rather than swinging around he would achieve a whole lot more scientifically speaking. With great power comes great responsibility.

      This scenario frustrates more than anything. Batman and Spiderman are expected to constantly do everything. And when they don't perform the IMPOSSIBLE it's their fault. What about the Government and the Police? Society expects everything from Spiderman and Batman however they do almost nothing in regards to keeping people safe. Peter's Uncle Ben had it wrong, with great power comes great babysitting.

The state was going to kill him and Batman found evidence that he was innocent of that one crime. But he did countless other even killing the child under his care and he saves him. Spider-Man on the hand is expect to stop armored police force while being a skinny old man.

    So this is basically V for Vendetta but with Spiderman. Pretty good setting, but I do not think Peter would've punched Jameson or let that kid get arrested even if jaded and in his old age.

    After playing spiderman game i finally understand why writer wants spidey to have a bad day.
    Spiderman is the embodiment of hope in marvel, despite everything he always get back up, that's what spidey is.
    So the writer tries to give him the worst thing possible, to show that whatever happens, hope always remains.
    But it's getting so bad because it's also fun to see the limit people like peter have.

There isn't a copyright on that quote, others are allowed to use it, and people are free to quote them instead of Mill, up to and including Alucard in a video game. :P
      Not mentioning how often internet completely messes up the origin of some of those supposedly well-known quotes, and how likely it is that someone else could easily have said or written it loooooong before Mill was ever born, because writing has been around for over 5400 years, and the concept of good and evil and what makes one triumph over the other has been current and topical all the while.

As for the fluff you put out as regards the writting throughout those 5,400 years, What may have been said at some point in time, or may not have been, is merely conjecture. What is known as fact to have been said is, however, not. John Stuart Mill is the source of the original quote. Not a video game. If you parrot something without even knowing its source, how can you expect it to carry meaning? Evidently, one cannot care that much for the message, if they don't even know who said it, and what his beliefs were.

    With some changes this could have been a really good what if story. One of those changes is not having an old man jumping around in their underwear in what is supposed to be a very intense moment.
    The other is Peter punching someone that most likely is 90.

    I think my biggest issue with comics these days is that there’s no messages in them. They just do stuff at random and try to make it sound like a good story. So I read them and by the end I’m like: “What was the point they were trying to make here?” As if there was any rhyme or reasoning for it’s existence

      I mean, i don't know as far as comics these days ( I only keep up on storylines by reading summaries or watching videos) but this one story had a clear message, kind of the same as Batman TDKR or Punisher Max. One person doing good can inspire a movement and bring greater good, even someone as old and defeated as ( type old superhero name here).Or its never too late to do good. And it was not even hard to catch it. I read this story when I was like 14.

      Why is it always like this? A promising story with tons of potential, which can even stick around if not grow into it's own universe... undercut by how dumb it's key moments are. Sure, why bother writing an interesting take on why Peter's life once again ended up ni tragedy, radioactive sticky white stuff will do just fine.

    0:45 about the kid's speech here I haven't seen this comment so i'll add it:
    I'm thinking that the kid probably didn't say anything there and instead that's just peter projecting and imagining the kid blaming him for "choosing" to stay powerless.
    We see later that he does indeed have the power to fight back and chose/chooses not to use it so this dialogue is most likely his own internal dialogue from seeing the disappointed and sad people around him.

    This comic deserves more attention and respect. It takes The Dark Knight's idea and uses it in a personal way that makes it so different than TDK.

      NYC has always had its own interpretations of the constitution. The second amendment had been a privilege rather than an actual right by tying it up under a 'must show need' clause that could never actually be satisfied even if you had an established worry for your own life.

    It would be cool if you made the videos a bit longer, at least long enough to add context.
    Not asking for you to make 10-30 minute videos. As it must be expensive to hire narrators/voice actors. ( unless that’s just you, incredible job)
    But, how we got to this place, who was the cause, what had happened, why Parker became like this, and where / when we are. ( Granted you did include the where)
    Again, no need to do a massive info dump per video, but just a line or two.
    Your videos are leaving me wanting more, which is a good thing.
    Also great choice on the narrator, voice actors and sound effects.

    Just once I’d like to see Peter to have a happy story. One where he just can settle down with MJ or Gwen Stacy or any girl that loves him for himself, have some kids that are proud to have him as their father, and only needing to go out to fight crime now and then so he can be a scientist most of the time.
    But it only seems like Peter can have is more suffering in his life. Like he’s the universe’s punching bag.

    I believe it's a little late for Jameson to apologize isn't it? After a lifetime he wants to apologize for lying? His lies have prevented Parker and Mary Jane from living the life that they deserved. I don't think a punch in the face is enough.

    Well when you think about it there is more reason for Parker to be a villain more then a hero. Bullied in school, only father figure dies in front of him, shitty job, shitty boss, low pay, can barely pay for rent, never taken seriously, teacher turns into a lizard, fronds dad because the goblin and tries to ruin your life… the list goes on🤷🏿‍♂️
