Fisher F22 10k gold ring and nickel test metal detector

Hopefully others can benefit from my mistake. 100+ hours of searching with 2 & 3 notched out. Big mistake! Problem is this is also where most .22 bullet shells ring in. I'm searching areas with a lot of trash. But of the $10 in change I've found so far, I was curious as to why I wasn't finding nickels. Now I know. I'll just go ahead and believe I didn't pass over any gold yet. Sheesh. :(

I found a 14k gold ring and a 1930s wedding band with mine there is a definite flat with yours

Jewellery mode is best mate at 10 sensitivity your fisher seems faulty you should contact your place of purchase and get them to swap your unit 🇬🇷💙👍

10k Gold ring is coming in as a 40 for me flat on same detector. Turn ring on its side and readings get crazy mostly 35-43
