    First Texas does a great job in putting great separation in their detectors. I've got a Teknetics Omega 8000 and it has great separation with crisp sharp signals. That's the main reason I like it. That F11 looks like it would be a great machine for beginners or for anyone who likes to hunt tot lots and parks.

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 роки тому +1

      They sure do...almost all of there detectors have a fast recovery speed and very good on separation. Great for a beginner or as a loaner/backup.

    My first detector was the F11 I found 2 1800’s IHP’s with that little bugger along with a pile of wheats and a few silvers.
    I ended up putting a Cors Scout on it and it made a huge depth difference.

      Sounds like it did the business as a starter machine. I have the Nel SS for it....might have to slap it on there for a couple days out.

    Wow this is deep for a 7 inch coil. and the tones are really clear on it as well. for the price what a great entry level detector .

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 роки тому +1

      I love that coil. Same size as the Teknetics Digitek but with a screw on connector this time around. Fisher tones are some of the best for my ears. Thanks for watching Dan!

    Still watching but had to say that looks and sounds like a great beginner detector - tones are really nice.

      I have always loved the First Texas tones....nice and clear. Thanks for watching!

    I was impressed by it's recovery speed. That would really help the beginner who may not of mastered Low and Slow. If I was just starting, I would consider it. Heck it might even be good as the detector you leave in your car for those spur of the moment hunt

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 роки тому

      Not bad at all, that is for sure. A nice decent speed to get the job done. It's pretty tough to beat as a back up or starter machine for the price. Thanks for watching brother!

    Man I wish I would have gotten this when I started out it looks awesome for a newbie! Also that’s some SERIOUS depth for a 159$ machine with a 7 inch concentric and awesome recovery speed!

      Great detector for the price. A excellent starting point for somebody who is just getting started and not even sure they will enjoy it.

    Getting ready to spring for the F22... your reviews are great. For my $220 bucks, get the F22 or other brand / model ?

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 роки тому

      Appreciate you watching. It $220 is your hard limit...yes. F22 is a good starting point detector. At 254 you have the Simplex....which is significantly superior.

    Nice detector for well under $200, and a super warranty, just wish it had a target ID number.

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 роки тому +1

      Love that warranty on it. F22 will be up next. It adds ID - weatherproofing - and a bit more to the table for a $60 increase.

      Saving an extra $90 is not an option for some people. If so...they might as well save another $90...and then another $90...and then another...
