I have had the fisher F22 for 2 months now. It is great out in the field. the pinpoint feature is great. I also have been caught out in heavy rain with it. I am impressed.
I've had a F22 for a few months now and call me impressed! I added the 11" DD coil for field hunts. At around $200 I will say it's the best bang for your buck out there!
I ust bought mine on amazon for $149 shipping with a gift card. I haven't used it yet, but I am excited to hit the beaches. Thanks for this awesome review!!!!
Very informative, thank you. Just purchased one moments ago. Now I'm jazzed, as is my wife and 12 year old daughter (with visions of gold and silver rings in her head....)
Thanks for sharing. Great start up video. Never owned a fisher but thinking about one. Wondering about the battery life with just 2 batts GB GL&HH Dig on
Spending 200$ I thought this would be a glorified toy like the Garrett ace series. But this thing is awesome. Light enough for the lady to use too. My ctx is way way too heavy for her.
There's no ground balance or noise cancel function? Does it just do that automatically on start up? Should I just reset it if I'm getting interference?
Hi You are Going Excellent 👍 really impresed with your Work.... I think " Fisher F-22 " is better then others, but I don't know what is the Detection Depth Range of Fisher F22 ? You You please tell me? I also want to do this Can you please guide me , which Matel Detector detect depth range almost 3 or 4 Feet ? Im Waiting for your Kind Reply
The F22 is a good machine...but honestly, the Simplex is newer technology. I'd give the nod to the Simplex if buying today. But, you won't go wrong with either one.
I cant believe I'm the first one with a thumbs up. Great video and very informative. I am looking to get a detector but would like it to be water "Proof" so can take it on my kayak. Any suggestions? I am a beginner and would like to stay some what cheap. Thanks
Just turn the damn thing on and dig wherever it tells you to dig. If youre in it for just the money perspective, then youre going to be disappointed especially if you have no clue what youre doing. You simply dont dig only gold and silver. You'll dig 500 holes before you get any gold, if not, more.

I am reading the owners manual right now and the coil IS completely waterproof. You can just can't submerge the display or the coil plug in.
Thank you for your comprehensive video, the F-22 will be my first metal detector very much based on your review. 👍
Awesome explanation. The last metal detector I owned was a Micronta and that was 35 years ago when I didn't take this seriously.

Great review. Thanks! Can it be folded up and fit into a small travel case? Is it that portable?
Not really, but the shaft can be taken apart and shortened to about half the length.

No cheap waterproof the only one I know of is the AT Pro from Garrett it's about $600 dollars.
I'd just put it in a large trash bag and make sure you tape or tie it up well. Wouldn't be the best but it would save you if it accidentally fell out
Sir how to search only gold and silver for this detector?

So all is set pre set ground did, that don't sound that good , mostly on the beach. Thanks man.
No offence; but youre like the Larry Vickers of metal detector :)
