I'm a Pico beta tester, so I got a Pico4s and I'm using it. The Pico4s is very similar to Apple Vision, as you can use vr outside without setting boundaries. And it's very similar to Quest 3, and the camera is very, very good over Quest 3. Even the tiny letters on your phone are clearly visible.

Meta Standalone Games are starting to be defining the vr market for the future. games like vader immortal, asgards wrath 2, the upcoming batman and metro titles, triple A IPs being welcomed to standalone vr. if those games turn out to be successful, there will be coming more in the future and the library of pico 4 will look like it's just gimmicks compared to the meta quest experience.
@@DerPetrucci it's definitely a worry that only one VR company will have access to these. I completely agree with you on that. However, there is so much more to do in VR than to just play games.
@@TheLazyLion08 I take it back.. the problem with VR is there are NO STANDARDS. soo you can see a bunch of shitty videos .I had to hook it up to 1660 super i7 intel core to render videos where it to my eyes look realistic . And im enjoying it a bit too much now.Unfortunately not many people will figure this out.
@@joseaugustoencarnacion5461 yes sadly youtube vr is horrible with quality on a vr headset everything just feels real it has a very 3d enviroment i cant wait to get my pico 4 sometime also i heard the quest 3s will release soon it has been seen in supported devices in the meta app so if you ever want a brginner headset you can get the quest or wait for the quest 3s which is supposed to be a lot cheaper than the quest 3

I may get a lot of flak but i think iphone 8 on a google cardboard is wayy better than these and i own a Q3
