    What am I doing wrong? Mine is so hard to slide into the black part...as if the black part is too small.

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  3 місяці тому

      For the small velcro strap in the top middle?
      It is tough to do to be fair. Seen multiple people struggle with that part so you're not alone.
      I've seen people use an implement to try to catch and pull the tab part way through but have to be careful not to slip and scratch the lenses.
      I took the plastic face shield off, seen in the video, which helped me and then just tried to slowly work it through. It should fit, but was definitely tight for me.

      @@JustDadUK no, to slide the 2 side of the quest 3 wings into the 2 black thingy for the bobovr...but I just realize there's one for the quest 3, so apparently this one is only for the quest 2. It's dumb that we have to buy a different head piece for the quest3.

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  3 місяці тому +1

      Ahh, yup, there are different ones for the different Quests.
      Bobovr M2 for the Quest 2 with B2 Battery.
      Bobovr M3 for the Quest 3 with B2 Battery.
      Bobovr S3 for the Quest 3 with the B100 Battery.
      I believe there is a conversion kit available to use the M2 headstrap with the Quest 3, but not something I've tried myself

    You mentioned you shouldn't touch cameras. unfortunately, as I was struggling with the top strap, my hands and fingers were on them.
    Should I worry? Would a simple micro-fiber wipe be enough to fix any possible problem?

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  4 місяці тому

      The top strap can definitely be fiddly.
      The cameras at the front? I'm not sure what's officially recommended. Probably worth checking. I use a soft microfiber glasses cloth. Do NOT use any solution or liquid. I've seen people that have damaged their headset with that. Ensure there's no grit, or bits of dirt on them while cleaning that could scratch them. The cameras at the front are less delicate than the lenses.

    My BoboVR M3 Pro strap is making a buzzing noise in the built in speakers when it's plugged in to the Quest (and the battery is on). Is it normal, or I have a faulty strap? 🤔 I didn't hear any buzzing noise when I was using the M2 strap with the Quest 2.

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  5 місяців тому +1

      It seems hit and miss for people with the buzzing sound.
      I get it when the headset is at a 100% and the BoboVR B2 Battery is at 100%, or there abouts.
      Once they have charged down a bit it stops.
      Either way I don't notice in game due to in game sounds.
      For me the sound appears to come from the battery itself when it is trickle charging when both battery and headset are full.

      Thanks for the info, I'll try it with the Quest battery at 75% or below... 🤔

    Can you put the face cover back in?

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  3 місяці тому

      Yup.
      I prefer to keep the face cover in as well.
      Towards the end of the video 11:30, I clip it back in.

    also i thought that the box will be much bigger

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  3 місяці тому

      You're welcome. I was surprised by the size of the box as well.
      They do have a newer version out now, the S3, but I haven't tried that one out yet.
      So far I've been very happy with the M3 so haven't felt the need to change it.

    Не обязательно снимать корпус с очков, можно воспользоватся ниткой сложенной вдвое. Протянув вначале нитку в отверстие, а затем прилепив к липучке просунуть ее под корпус, помогая ленте с двух сторон руками.

      Thank you.
      Thoughts after using the product.
      I have no affiliation to BOBOVR, i'm just a customer who bought one.
      Review: TL:DR: I'm happy to recommend it and happy that I purchased one. I'd give it a solid 8/10.
      Having used the Headset now, I'm very happy with it. Direct comparison of using the Headset with and without the battery for gameplay on Dungeons of Eternity (which does chew through battery in my experience) has seen 1 hour and 20 minutes of game time without the BOBO Battery and 3 hours with the battery. Both tests left the Headset itself around the 12% mark before I turned them off.
      Using the BOBO Battery I got 2 hours of gameplay on Asgard's Wrath 2, which left the Headset at 100% and the BOBO Battery below 25%.
      It takes a good 2-3 hours to fully charge the BOBO Battery.
      Comfort, fit and stability I am very happy with. Nature did not bless me with hair, but I find it comfortable on my head. I am left with a slight forehead indent, which is probably normal after testing it for 2 or 3 hours at a time. I do get a battery buzz on mine. Some people say they have not on theirs, so this may be luck of the draw. The buzz is not there all of the time on mine, but is there when first used when the Headset and the BOBO are both at 100% battery. Surprisingly i am not at all bothered by it during gameplay, which I had not expected. During gameplay, I don't even notice it. If i was using the headset for silent tasks like virtual desktop, then it probably would annoy me. But for gaming, watching VR or anything else that has sound, I don't even notice it.
      I have no affiliation with BOBO, I paid for my Headset as a customer and overall I would definitely recommend it. It gets me what I wanted, which was enough game time to not feel like I was stopping just because I had run out of battery and a head strap that felt more stable, was comfortable and was easier to adjust, which it does using a dial at the back. The battery attaches using an included magnetic battery mount.
      I purchased an additional battery, which i can hot swap out when the first one runs out which gives me more time than I need.
      I hope this was helpful and happy gaming. Solid 8/10 in my opinion.

    I will come back here and post how much more gametime I got with the battery connected. So far I have found it very comfortable and secure to wear.

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  9 місяців тому +4

      Thoughts after 1 day of using are that it is considerably more comfortable than the basic one that came with it.
      I was left with a forehead indent greater than normal as I may have had it tighter than I needed to. It did feel very safe, secure and comfortable on the head for 3 hours of game play.
      Battery wise comparison with and without it:
      Meta Quest 3 on its own intense gameplay on Dungeons of Eternity gave me 1 hour and 20 minutes of gameplay. Meta Battery left was around 14% after that time.
      Same game and conditions with the BOBOVR Battery attached and the Meta Quest starting at full Battery I got 3 hours of game play. Meta Battery left was around 12% after that time.
      I did get a buzzing noise from the battery which if I was doing silent tasks would be annoying, but during gameplay wasn't noticed.
      Hope that's helpful.

      Does the front part press against the faceplate or not , I'm waiting on mine to be delivered but nervous my eyes would be top far away

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  8 місяців тому +1

      I wouldn't say it presses against it. Depending on how you position it, it will either rest on top of it or have a gap.

    How do you charge the bobo battery?

    • @JustDadUK
      @JustDadUK  6 місяців тому

      I take it off the headstrap and charge it separately using a USB C cable and the plug that came with the Meta Quest. I never charge the Meta Quest itself anymore, other than from the B2 batteries. I just use the BoboVR batteries.
      I have a spare B2 Battery that I hot swap out if the first one runs out and I stop when or before the second one runs out.
      You can also charge the batteries using a twin charging dock that BoboVR sell, that also comes with one additional B2 Battery.
