Tennessee didn't get headed in the right direction until they replaced the Vice Chancellor and AD and hired Donde Plowman and she hired Danny White and then we got Josh Heupel. It started at the top and Tennessee got out in front of NIL as well as facility improvements. Made a huge difference. Now we have been successful in basketball, softball, baseball and also football. UF needs to start over in admin and clean house.
Nick Saban should be the commissioner of college football. The big problem is that high school seniors and college players have all the rights and very little responsibilities; no regulation means they can, will and are being taken advantage by agents who don’t even have to register. There has to be contracts in some form with requirements the players must meet in order to get their “NIL” to level it back out
I am fine with them having 4 yrs or less to take advantage of it. They may never reach the NFL and may never get paid as an athlete again. And many of them have been and will continue to be taken advantage of for the rest of their life. I could care less if these kids get a chance to be the one making all the decisions with zero repercussions. Good for them.
Jeremy Foley didn't think it was necessary to build fancy facilities because the HBC and Urban won without them. He was lulled into complacency. That complacency became the culture within the UAA. That's why!

The same thing happened at Texas up until a few years ago. Agree that NIL is most important, but facilities still can't be out dated. Got to invest dollars. a lot of University President's are academics and not sports fans.
There are issues at UF admin, but (1) Saban called out the "fanbase," which is completely out of bounds and wrong (packed the stadium again for aTm), and (2) no one--no one--has scooped up the three prior coaches we fired to win titles. The implication that we'd be winning titles with any of those coaches if we had better facilities or NIL is laughable.
The recent coaching carousel has impacted recruiting, but the portal and NIL can really mitigate that issue in a relatively short time , if we do it right.
Tennessee has the best administrative and athletic management group they have EVER had right now. You have no clue what you are talking about. EVERYONE is going to raise ticket prices to cover the cost of the House settlement, they will just call it something else.
@chandlerwhite8302 I am confused with your comment. I think Tennessee is ahead of the game by having business savy people running the Athletics department and forward thinking in terms of ticket fees. That was a compliment. Florida and other programs should follow suit.
I've said once before Florida has to choose between being a top tier program or a mid tier program and I think they chose mid tier. I don't think this will change any time soon because with an interim president there is no way to clean house and get in people who want to win.
My theory is we will know if UF will make all necessary changes based on if Kiffin accepts UF’s offer. If he doesn’t come that’s a bad sign for the future.
You hit the nail on the head Ali. As a retiree of state government I know first hand how money plays a roll bureaucratic complacency. There needs to be a fresh focus in the UAA organization otherwise just admit that a championship caliber program is not in the interest of the current UAA administration.
You are spot on…….we are behind in times as it pertains to college football and the NIL. If we had NIL right recruiting and the transfer portal would take care of itself. When you have A Roster full of 5 stars you immediately become a coaching genius! Also, too much emphasis is put on the skilled positions….Miami had a 24 month plan to reclaim the line of scrimmage (on both sides). We are an embarrassment on our OL and DL positions. How many of the Offensive line that Tebow had went on to play at the next level and received All Pro status, Almost all of them! Lastly, patience……I hear fans say we are Florida, that means “NOTHING” any more, Zilch, Nada, Zero!!!! It’s the UAA and Big Booster that need to shoulder the responsibility for the state of Florida Football!
Dan Patrick interviewed Jon gruden today. After watching that interview i have a slight feeling in the back of my head that maybe Florida shocks the landscape and hires gruden. He mentioned today that he’s reading up on the nil rules regulations and what it takes to be successful. He also is eager to recruit and develop young players, he’s talked to numerous people about coaching and said he’s talked to some important people and doesn’t want to start rumors about who he’s talking to. Idk boys n girls Ik allegations n such but I want lane that’s my number 1 but I got this weird feeling Florida could be looking for an answer with gruden
And that's a recipe for continued failure. Ask Tampa he had 1 season and turned that into a complete crap show for the next several years barely making a playoff if a winning season
@@RJ-fe9pu regardless of how you look at it from statistical standpoint DJ running a gruden NFL style offense would be nasty in my opinion. Essentially it could turn out to be a harbaugh situation without the cheating he brings in guys that coach and develop and recruit at high level considering that won’t be his strong suit but it seems like nil and transfer portal and coaching n developing would be his strong suits so essentially he could surround himself with the best guys and he’d have hands on coaching with the QBs along with the QB coach but as I said feeling aside DJ in a Gruden nfl offense would be nasty and plus terminology and queues to call plays would essentially give him a step when he goes to the league
Maybe Florida didn't invest on sports facilities as much as their competitors because UF was busy becoming one of the top Universities in the world. In case you have not noticed none of the football AP Top 25 schools are as highly ranked academically as UF with the exception of Texas. Now they need to catch up in football and they will.
Also, winning programs with tradition do not delete their traditions. What is UF's record since "gator-bait" got cancelled? UF gave in to the social justice mob. Saban is absolutely correct as well. The fans are extremely spoiled. Itching to fire the next one. BTW- Mullen should not have been fired. Been defending that since they axed him.
It starts with the UAA. If they care about winning football games, they’ll put money into the team to compete with Georgia and Alabama. They need to fire Strickland, Napier, and build from the ground up. Shouldn’t take a lot of time, because they have a ton of money. Bring in Lane Kiffin and have boosters donate to the NIL fund. Put money into facilities instead of plaques with donors’ names on them.
"Im not going to get in an Arms Race" Jeremy Foley. The problem isn't the fans, its the UAA not investing into the team with all the money it made them, and its the AD making horrible hires. The Gator Collective made so many mistakes that they had to rebrand themselves to Florida Victorious. Fans aren't going to contribute when we have horrible hires putting horrible products on the field. The UAA, AD and Florida Victorious want the fans to invest into the football team while they aren't? Furthermore, look at how other places are now putting an extra charge on the ticket price (talent tax) so that they can revenue share with the players. It takes 22 mil to run a program and the UAA/AD doesn't want to do anything to fund that...that is the problem. They make horrible hires and then turn to the boosters to bail them out.
These problems go back to 2010. Florida went cheap and neglected their facilities and many other aspects of the program. Florida quickly fell to the bottom of the conference regarding these things. I hate to say it, but Foley was a part of the problem because this started under his watch.
Love the tude Friend. It works here. UF needs to put down the shovel and get to work. Billy is not the problem. I say we are set to have the "decent" year we all talked about. This stuff can be fixed.
The Gators football areas are amazing. I think it's a little unfair to throw them under the bus. I am a Cane, however, I have family that are Gators. I think the Rasada ordeal left a bad mark. Maybe it took a bit for the nil to kick in? But things seem to be heading in the right direction now. If the Gators can hire the usf head coach or someone similar then there is nothing stopping uf from being back in the winning mode they seek.
We should be taking a portion of ticket sales and merch sales and putting it directly into NIL. There should be a QR code on player helmets that sends you directly to the the collectives. We should have businesses donating a portion of their sales to NIL. There are so many different ways to generate more cash flow. I'd be happy to donate as much as possible if I knew it lead to wins. But, why on Earth would I want to donate when you are wasting money on things that don't matter and hiring no name coaches? Show me you are serious. This is a theoretical example. Pay Nick Saban whatever he wants to come out retirement. I have no clue what the highest paid college football coach makes. Let's say it's $12 million a year. Pay Nick $20 million to come back. Whatever it takes. If UF doesn't pony up, it's going to lose it's fan base. That stadium they want to pour so much money into will be half filled on game days. If you don't take the team seriously, then why should i?
Unfortunately NIL is college football now. Free Agency=Transfer Portal. Players want to be paid top dollar . Recruting is getting closer to drafting players now. You want me this is how much it costs. I don’t like the direction but , it only going to get more solidified with these kinds of terms thru NIL. Gators must do better with NIL and stay ahead of the trends to stay relevant. This also will lure the best coaches cfb has to offer. Or even from the NFL ranks should one be available. I.e John Gruden. Please go after Kiffin first! Let him say no!
Would it have been beneficial to have the facilities built back then, of course it would, and I agree the athletic department has not been all in on football which has led to some issues and there needs to be changes there. But that those issues can not be blamed for Muschamp refusing to allow for a competitive offensive system, for McIlwain to not go crazy and report fraudulent death threats or Mullen not wanting to recruit and then quitting on the team after not getting an NFL job. Napier has had the facilities and still is not able to properly develop and coach the talent he has brought in. Yes the UAA has been bad, but the coaches we have had are fully at fault for the issues that have led to them being fired and we have to be sure not to overlook those facts when talking about the deficiencies with the UAA.
So wait. I didn't know this. So, the NIL group is like a SuperPAC? They can't be associated with the college? That's weird. But now it makes a lot more sense to me why things are the way they are. The money the college used to get from donors is now going to players, students. I can see how they'd not embrace that. They want that money for themselves.
The problem is the fan base is spoiled because Urban won a Natty in his SECOND year!! That DOES NOT happen everyday despite what UF fans believe SHOULD happen. 2 nattys in 3 years. Fans are spoiled. So when we do nothing, every 3 to 4 years Fans demand for the coaching staff to be fired. There is no continuity/sustainability
Billy needs to say what Lane said. Wanna win? Write a check. If the best players go to the highest bidders, lets out bid them. I for one am in support to these kids getting the highest amounts they can with zero regulation. They may never get the opportunity again.
It’s either Nape sucks or we have a systemic problem. I think it’s a little of both. Firing Nape then bringing in some hot name won’t get us back. I don’t think the people we would go after will want to leave there situation. I think if changes are coming they need to come from the top.
🎯🎯🎯 We need to flush out the UAA. Ex players, boosters and now Saban has pointed the finger @ the problem. Foley was good and bad for UAA. But, he was cheap as hell! Whatever leftovers from his era need to be flushed from UAA! Shayne said a booster offered $24 mill and UAA wanted to put towards stadium renovations!
Absolutely correct. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS!!! Everything is available now so get off the MONEY. BUY THE LINEMAN NEEDED AND BE DONE WITH IT. OFFENSE LINEMEN MAKE AVERAGE BACKS LOOK GOOD. ETC. !!!!! Go Gators
While I agree, Stricklin needs to go and the UAA needs to be revamped, coaching is still a serious problem. Alabama had some bad coaches before Saban. Yet he single-handedly turned that storied program around. If we change everything and keep Billy, UF is still screwed.
We have Professional College Football now. Instead of owners, we have wealthy donors who "own" the program. I wonder what will happen when players are asked to take pay cuts when they go to the NFL.
Along those lines, we need to write contacts that are laden with incentives to perform, for both players and coaches. We win, you get the $$$, you underperform, it’s meager.
I don't disagree with the realities of your rant - all sadly true. I do think it is ironic that Saban basically called-out UF for what has resulted in the very same reasons he retired from coaching. UF needs to "get with the program" and adapt to systemic changes that caused Saban to retire and Dabo to reject and start down a path of mediocrity. I know it has been about "Show Me The Money" for a very long time. Still it was a pleasant delusion when we at least could develop a bond or loyalty with the same "Student Athletes" for more than one year. The transfer portal and NIL are badly in need of reform and guardrails, or else eventually there will be 3 Super Conferences with a total of 60 teams, and college football essentially becomes a professional sport without legitimate local/student/alumni fan bases. If that is what everyone wants, then fine by me. Let the big money, TV contracts, and a 20 team National Championship come. I think some (a lot?) of folks will agree that it already doesn't look or feel like college football at all. It looks and feels like what it has become - a sport that has nothing really to do with student athletes (or really student fans), but has everything to do with money.
First, you need a permanent president. What’s taking so long on that? Next, why hasn’t the AD been sounding all the things you are? S Strickland has to shoulder the blame for neglect toward Nil to this point. UF has hamstrung the last few coaches seemingly thinking past glory is good enough. It’s not. It’s every day now more than ever you have to do something to improve, enhance, move forward.
No we shouldn’t have ever hired him in The first place. Hiring bum coaches like Mullen and Napier are symptoms of the UAA playing small ball and going cheap
Players leaving and performing at other schools INDICATES its a Coaching issue as well not to say uaa is not a problem but results are results and the results say billy is hot garbage
It's not about NIL or facilities - it's about coaching, first and foremost. That's the way it is in college and that's how it's always been. This is only unbalanced when there is some sort of cheating and a team gets disproportionate amounts of talent, steals signals, pays refs or whatever. You must have talent but coaching is by far the most important element in college football. Below is a comparison of NIL ranking v AP Poll ranking as of now. In the AP Top 25, what do the top 6 teams have in common? It isn't NIL ranking. They're average AP rank is around 3.5, average NIL rank is about 17. The thing those teams have in common is great coaching. College football has always come down to coaching. Colorado has 4 players in the top 100 for NIL, including the top 2 - and they have a crap program. UF is #4 and looks awful. A&M is #2 and they're not even in the top 20 in the AP poll. FSU #10 in NIL and they're 1-3. Auburn is #9 NIL, and still terrible and Hugh Freeze is taking a lot of heat. If you look at the AP Top 25, there are maybe 8 "elite" coaches represented. Of those, each one in the Top 6 is definitely elite. Special note: Miami is not in the top 50 for NIL as per 247, yet they are currently 7th in the AP Poll - why? Because Cristobal is doing a good job coaching. UF is #4 in NIL and Miami is outside the top 50 and Miami just destroyed UF. NIL Rank by 247 as of August / Current AP Rank Oregon 1 / 8 A&M 2 / 24 Texas 3 / 1 UF 4 / Not ranked Georgia 5 / 2 Ok St 6 / 20 LSU 7 / 14 OU 8 / 21 Auburn 9 / Not ranked FSU 10 / Not ranked Ohio St 11 / 3 Bama 12 / 4 Vols 14 / 5 Mizzou 31 / 11 Ole Miss 35 / 6 If you look at facilities rankings you'll see a pretty similar overall point - it's about coaching, not facilities. A nice building doesn't make tackles.
That was one of Kirby Smarts demands before he took the Ga Job, upgraded practices field weight room! Locker room. Fla has way too much High School talent for Fla to be this bad! If Fla had a brain they would hire Glenn Schuman away from Ga, I wouldn’t bother with Lane Kiffin he’s a sideshow 🤡
BINGO!!! Have you been to Neyland recently? It’s a crap hole. Rust everywhere, paint faded and cracking, they barely even bother to clean it after games. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms. But guess what - NO ONE CARES! Their AD is FULLY embracing NIL and has made smart hires. Their fans are having a blast and packing that nasty old stadium. They will have more money than they know what to do with. People used to say recruiting is the lifeblood of your program. That’s no longer the case. Yes, you need to be a good recruiter and all of the other things, but NIL is clearly now the lifeblood of your program.
What are you people yapping about? Napier has more money and resources and staff members than any coach in UF history, and we’ve consistently had high draft classes and we get beat by schools with lesser recruits, money, and inferior facilities. Napier is simply a bad coach. If these players aren’t performing, he either chose the wrong guys or failed to develop them. Stop complicating matters.
Look at the last 8-10 NC coaches in CFB and what they all have in common is appearance. They are all serious as cancer, no nonsense personalities when it comes to work, Saban, Kirby, Urban, Dabo, and the best coach in FB at the moment Jimmy H. They all have cuthroat end your career personality (player and assistant coaches) if we are not successful perioid end of the true story. Nobody is scared of Billy or Dan, or you think Ryan Day is gonna win an NC ? No, because he is soft as butter, even with all that talent at OSu he won't win it.
There is something else but you’d have to be a fool to give money to NIL right now with Napier there. They made lousy hires…always these up and comers…that don’t come with any credibility. There’s no foundation for having patience. Mullen was the best hire they made but whatever happened that last season didn’t have anything to do with NIL. More like what you suggested…constantly being told no.
In NIL, teams are trying to buy the best football team. I will always cheer for the Gators, but NCAA is going down the wrong road. You lost me. BTW how about paying the Marching Band. As a former member, we gave up a lot of time and energy.
Swamp is old and rundown. Will a remodel help it, just don’t know. NIL is such a shat show. Like the euro model vs NFL model. College draft and contracts down the road to professionalize it? Always will be endorsements, but the system is unsustainable.
Saban is right - especially in this day and age of college football - Lane Kiffin knows all of this. Like everyone else outside of Gainesville, he will ignore Florida like any other good coach would because he knows that Florida is no longer a desirable program. So please, pretty please, with a bright red cherry and whipped cream on top - fire your present coach, find another "Billy," and pay him 15 million. As Saban and everyone other simpleton knows - It will not fix the problem or resurrect your "has been" program. 25-25 over the last 5 years is evidence that should be screaming at you loudly, saying, "Our program sucks," not saying, "We are one of the best programs in the country. Every coach should want to be a coach at Florida" I think the most annoying things about Florida fans are their ignorance of reality and their presumption that they are a great program because of a few good years of football some 100 years ago - Wake up - your program sucks, and no decent coach would ever want to be a part of the dumpster fire that is Florida football - Saban is correct, and so am I - get a clue and show some humility and patience. Just because you had a decent program 100 years ago does not equate to a respectable or desirable one today. Start at the top and fix things, and then you might be able to find a decent coach and build a semi-decent program.
Ask Saban where the available land was during Meyer's tenure. Ask Saban where the high demand is for Muschamp, McElwain, and Mullen for major program HC positions. Muschamp got another chance and promptly displayed the same issues at SoCar as at UF. Saban didn't even bring any of them on as an analyst - he brought Butch Jones on, but not one of UF's former coaches. Stop listening to Saban.
I’m against paying players…their needs to be another model…NIL is ruining college football in my opinion… all this will come down to is “who pays me the most money” and I’ll go there…is that the kind of game we want? I suggest we boycott the games the games until a better model is found.
Looked average doing it. Beating miss state is not a bombshell win even if it is a sec team. We have to win big games not just games against teams that suck just as bad if not worse than we do.
I said once I said I'm men million times n i l is a joke a football player goes to get an education if that ain't good enough for him go somewhere else that make you money
Thinking NIL should come with stipulations. Like upon acceptance the athlete must commit to 4 years. Gotta stop the mercenary poison that has entered the game. And all the power must be given to the school. They can’t get their money back, but if the student doesn’t perform or has off the field issues, they can jettison the player, and the player may not return to another team.
Ummmm his name is Kirk Herbstriet not Kurt. As someone who is a supposed college football guru Ali should know the names of pundits. She is laughable. The product on the field is coaching not the UAA. Just a week or so ago Ali was bragging that UF has more NIL contracts than anyone. Make up your mind Ali. There is absolutely no credibility with this channel. The problem is where the money is going. New baseball stadium, new softball stadium, renovated basketball arena etc. Florida is an all sports school not a football school, period...
It’s one person’s fault in all of this, it’s called the old was a cheap piece of shit and he didn’t wanna do anything but save money and win championships without spending money. His name was Jeremy.
I think people are still in all of us paying players to play football at collegiate level. I know it’s a new landscape but it’s ridiculous and I think it’s going to hurt the game in the long run. It’s a shame it had to come to this after opening Pandora box, this is what you get.

The facilities and all that have already been upgraded they are definitely up to par facility wise
I certainly hope so
Touché but Florida has the facilities now , now they need a coach 😂

100 percent right. Getting competent administrators to run the University as a whole was the turning point for Tennessee.
I doubt Nick Saban's callout even made it on Stricklin's radar
Nick Saban should be the commissioner of college football. I was castigated on the Virtual Swamp message board more than 20 years ago for criticizing Foley. But I was right. He was not that good of an AD.

I think the question we should be asking is where was this money going for all those years if it wasn’t going towards the football program and the facilities it needed to be competitive?
They probably have almost the best facilities overall for all sports across the board. They just a whole new baseball stadium

Already the new Vanderbilt
Ali. you are right. Saban did Florida fans a favor.
I've been saying clean house from top to bottom for the longest, the only way to be successful and get things straighten out!
One can only hope. I won't hold my breath though or else I'd pass out
Spot on. Let's ask more questions.

Truth hurts but is necessary. Moving forward, I’m interested to see how it is received and the changes made.

Need a paradigm shift with some of the old guard boosters, too. Some are hesitant to openly “buy” players.
I think the Tennessee model of 1) hiring cut throat business people to be in charge and 2) Charging Talent Fee will become common place.

Gators Coaching Staff & Players better be on their " A-Game " vs. Central Florida. Down 28-7 AT TCU.... UCF Fought back & Won 35-34
Whoa! So worried about UCF. I've been a Gator fan for decades and fully expect UCF to win. But your trolling is always hilarious 😂.
Truth is Florida coaches and players don’t have an “A” game. We won’t win another game this year.
@@hoofhearted1833 Ohhh NO ! Don't tell Ali. 😞😭
TCU blows harder than a hooker with no teeth ever since they got smoked in the Natty a few years ago. Bad comparison. Florida by 7
Dan Patrick interviewed Jon gruden today.
I enjoy your channel 👍 great content
Maybe Florida didn't invest on sports facilities as much as their competitors because UF was busy becoming one of the top Universities in the world. In case you have not noticed none of the football AP Top 25 schools are as highly ranked academically as UF with the exception of Texas. Now they need to catch up in football and they will.
😂
Also, winning programs with tradition do not delete their traditions. What is UF's record since "gator-bait" got cancelled? UF gave in to the social justice mob.
Saban is absolutely correct as well. The fans are extremely spoiled. Itching to fire the next one. BTW- Mullen should not have been fired. Been defending that since they axed him.
True
It starts with the UAA. If they care about winning football games, they’ll put money into the team to compete with Georgia and Alabama. They need to fire Strickland, Napier, and build from the ground up. Shouldn’t take a lot of time, because they have a ton of money. Bring in Lane Kiffin and have boosters donate to the NIL fund. Put money into facilities instead of plaques with donors’ names on them.
" Nothing changes if nothing changes." 😶
Nailed it, Sabin said nothing but the truth
Florida fans just watch sec shorts there very funny that's what i do . We need a very competitive coach lane kiffin is that man lets go gators.
These problems go back to 2010. Florida went cheap and neglected their facilities and many other aspects of the program. Florida quickly fell to the bottom of the conference regarding these things. I hate to say it, but Foley was a part of the problem because this started under his watch.
2024 will be rock bottom. Let's turn the page and start fresh with an elite mentality.
Love the tude Friend. It works here. UF needs to put down the shovel and get to work. Billy is not the problem. I say we are set to have the "decent" year we all talked about. This stuff can be fixed.
What team are you watching? Cocaine is a helluva drug.
Hey Ali copyrighted before it's gone "Ali-gator " 👍🙌🏾
The Gators football areas are amazing. I think it's a little unfair to throw them under the bus. I am a Cane, however, I have family that are Gators. I think the Rasada ordeal left a bad mark. Maybe it took a bit for the nil to kick in? But things seem to be heading in the right direction now. If the Gators can hire the usf head coach or someone similar then there is nothing stopping uf from being back in the winning mode they seek.
Seems There's an " El Cheapo(s) " somewhere in Florida University . 😞
Would have drawn interest from better coaches too
Would it have been beneficial to have the facilities built back then, of course it would, and I agree the athletic department has not been all in on football which has led to some issues and there needs to be changes there.
Yesss!
All the money in the world is not going to help Billy Napier play calling and coaching hires.
Exactly!
Yeah, so does this give Billy a bit of grace and time to pull it all together?
The problem is the fan base is spoiled because Urban won a Natty in his SECOND year!! That DOES NOT happen everyday despite what UF fans believe SHOULD happen. 2 nattys in 3 years. Fans are spoiled. So when we do nothing, every 3 to 4 years Fans demand for the coaching staff to be fired. There is no continuity/sustainability
It's been 16 years since we won anything in football so it's time for change
Honestly it doesn’t matter texas is winning the natty & the SEC championship no one else is surviving
Billy needs to say what Lane said. Wanna win? Write a check. If the best players go to the highest bidders, lets out bid them. I for one am in support to these kids getting the highest amounts they can with zero regulation. They may never get the opportunity again.
Not going to help play calling.
@@hoofhearted1833 play calling is fine.
That being said, what are the chances Nick Saban would take an AD job lol?
It’s either Nape sucks or we have a systemic problem. I think it’s a little of both. Firing Nape then bringing in some hot name won’t get us back. I don’t think the people we would go after will want to leave there situation. I think if changes are coming they need to come from the top.
"Absolutely rips?" My God, could you overstate and exaggerate it any more?
IS it college football or semi pro - College football is becoming the USFL
🎯🎯🎯 We need to flush out the UAA. Ex players, boosters and now Saban has pointed the finger @ the problem.
Foley was good and bad for UAA. But, he was cheap as hell! Whatever leftovers from his era need to be flushed from UAA!
Shayne said a booster offered $24 mill and UAA wanted to put towards stadium renovations!
Jermey Folly that’s all you need to know
Absolutely correct. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS!!!
Everything is available now so get off the MONEY. BUY THE LINEMAN NEEDED AND BE DONE WITH IT.
OFFENSE LINEMEN MAKE AVERAGE BACKS LOOK GOOD. ETC. !!!!!
Go Gators
Great show Ali, UAA is a joke.
While I agree, Stricklin needs to go and the UAA needs to be revamped, coaching is still a serious problem. Alabama had some bad coaches before Saban. Yet he single-handedly turned that storied program around. If we change everything and keep Billy, UF is still screwed.
What happened to the Gator Super Collective that was made up of donors putting in 10 million and up each?
been hearing Kliff Kingsbury... what y'all think gator nation 🤔🐊🤟🏾
NO thanks! What has he won? Gators needs a proven winner at a power 5 program.
@@MikeM-vx8hf who you like as a new coach
We have Professional College Football now. Instead of owners, we have wealthy donors who "own" the program. I wonder what will happen when players are asked to take pay cuts when they go to the NFL.
Along those lines, we need to write contacts that are laden with incentives to perform, for both players and coaches. We win, you get the $$$, you underperform, it’s meager.
What the Hell is a legend?
We shouldn't have fired Dan Mullen.
No we shouldn’t have ever hired him in The first place.
Hiring bum coaches like Mullen and Napier are symptoms of the UAA playing small ball and going cheap
The UAA doesn't give a crap about the football program. All they care about is getting their paycheck.
Stricklin has gone deaf..
Players leaving and performing at other schools INDICATES its a Coaching issue as well not to say uaa is not a problem but results are results and the results say billy is hot garbage
Good insight! All i know is we have to stop the run vs UCF. put 6 guys on the line if you have to
A new weight room will not make up for a coach who is conservative, stodgy and predictable
NIL Rank by 247 as of August / Current AP Rank
Oregon 1 / 8
A&M 2 / 24
Texas 3 / 1
UF 4 / Not ranked
Georgia 5 / 2
Ok St 6 / 20
LSU 7 / 14
OU 8 / 21
Auburn 9 / Not ranked
FSU 10 / Not ranked
Ohio St 11 / 3
Bama 12 / 4
Vols 14 / 5
Mizzou 31 / 11
Ole Miss 35 / 6
If you look at facilities rankings you'll see a pretty similar overall point - it's about coaching, not facilities.
No offense no defense if you can't stop talking about you can't beat them
In NIL, teams are trying to buy the best football team. I will always cheer for the Gators, but NCAA is going down the wrong road. You lost me. BTW how about paying the Marching Band. As a former member, we gave up a lot of time and energy.
Not even a stand alone football facility they’re making them share you all the other athletes
Jeez- we just smacked an SEC on the road and looked good doing it. Yall need to chill
Did a video on that. Hopefully you saw it!
This is a reaction to Saban talking about bigger issues.
By the way, being sponsored by sports betting makes your channel seem less professional to me.

I think people are still in all of us paying players to play football at collegiate level. I know it’s a new landscape but it’s ridiculous and I think it’s going to hurt the game in the long run. It’s a shame it had to come to this after opening Pandora box, this is what you get.
