They win 10, but dont make their title games. Did they make the playoffs? No. With Cam gone they could drop like FSU did. One season is not a trend. With DJ coming back, bet on the Gators. Miami has the FSU syndrome last year even though FSU went undefeated in the regular season that team was not anywhere near a top program Miami just got exposed early and rightfully so. If Miami or FSU had to play an SEC schedule every year they would lose four to eight games per season. It's always a cupcake schedule when you play in the ACC and you don't beat the hell out of each other all season long like all SEC teams do. But I will say that Billy needs an offensive coordinator or he will ruin the team that he has built there is a reason that dabo fired him and saban never let him Coach the offense!
At the end of the day i think the thing recruits see with miami is they only had the magical run like fsu did before them because of rental QB both teams were trash before then and fsu trash after their qb was gone. With Billy they see the growth starting from bottom moving up with highschool talent vs total portal talent and they feel it. If you look at UM outside of ward the team was pretty average especially defense. And UM fans keep acting like last yr they weren't ready to fire Mario.

Since players are being paid handsomely and can “transport” out as the wind blows, it’s difficult to gauge how good teams will be till fall. Florida definitely has momentum right now.

Well said Ali. And like you stated, we'll see what happens in the 2nd game next year when UF comes to Hardrock Stadium. Mario's "Trajectory" statement was made quite a while ago, when the Noles & Gators were both dumpster fires. And yes, Florida has done very well in recruiting this year . . (so far . . . but as we know, players can flip in the blink of an eye). And as far as the QB position goes, I can guarantee you this . . . Miami's starting QB for next year, isn't even on the roster yet. So hey, good luck! You're gonna need it!

I am friends with so many Miami fans on a channel called coach coop. And I have to say, these fans are to be pitied. I'm getting to the point where I feel sorry for them. Them beating us this year, did nothing for their sadness, their long-term hopelessness. It's a sad thing to be Miami, and play in that sorry ass conference. And play mostly nobody for 20 years. And still never have won the ACC. I'm worried about their fan base, I don't know how much more they can take. And go Iowa State!!

Gators finished well but we have a long way to go. The FSU game was a slow, frustrating game against a bad team. The Tulane game was 6-0 at the half. We have major changes at receiver and our D Line needs a lot of pieces. Love the direction but we have to improve to keep trending up. Go Gators!

Go Billy Napier! I enjoyed the bowl game live in person even though it was tight in the first half. But I still felt good because our defense shined in this game once again. Miami and Iowa State are in a shootout.
Florida is definitely finally giving me hope that they are headed in the right direction. There is a ton of momentum heading into next season.
I think if Florida played Miami now, I think the outcome would be different. Florida is not the same team that got blown out back in August.
The better trajectory is clear. Gators won their last four. Canes lost 3 of their last 4. Gators have the better 2025 recruiting class. Gators have one of the best QBs in the nation. Canes don’t know who their QB is for next year.

Florida had 8 months to get ready for Miami and still got pounded at home. Ali didn’t you say Mertz was better than Ward before the UF vs Miami game?
And yet Miami lost to several teams that weren’t that great this year? If we had Ron Roberts call the defense and maybe DJ Lagway switching on and off between Mertz, we would’ve put up a much better fight for sure.

Miami can't win a conference title. And Florida hasn't captured one since 2008. Florida's schedule 2025 will still hinder them. And miami unless they find another playmaker qb and a defense. Miami will drop off
Not as much will the schedule hinder us because a few of the teams we are playing loose major QB talent. Plus with lagway and a better backup option we should do better

@@walker1984 maybe the QB we signed this yr or by then we get another great QB like lagway. Main thing is hoping that they are true blue and orange because as good as lagway is his true worth is his commitment to the program and Billy... So we need to make sure we find another one not a mercenary type like Miami got going

Miami lost the Pop Tart bowl to Iowa State this afternoon. Slap that table Mario, you fool. 10 wins on a puff schedule is not anything to brag about.
Cristobal is pounding the podium for different reasons now. Losing 3-of-4 certainly doesn't help their momentum. The good defense Miami played early in the season, mostly vanished. Cam Ward is off to the NFL. Sure, they won 10 games and beat the tar out of UF, but Florida does have some momentum. I am somewhat concerned with the losses on defensive side of the ball for the Gators (to the portal and NFL).
If Napier hire a OC they will will dangerous next year.
