Camilla’s wardrobe choices work so well. As an older lady myself, we need to know what works for our changed bodies over time. To add to the mix, royals need to respect culture, protocol and good options. Camilla, like our late Queen and dear princess Catherine, totally gets it!
I have taken to wearing dresses because my body isn't as nice as it used to be. I think a nice A-line is flattering and very comfortable. I live in Florida so it also helps with the hot and humid climate. Camilla looks lovely and I would love to have hats like she wears! My current go to hat needs to be replaced but those hats are too pretty for working in the garden!

I love the maxi/ midi length and have found my confidence in these style dresses. Plus, the fabrics are good as are the prices. My post menopausal body suits this style and I've rediscovered my confidence

Fiona Clare who designs many of the Queen's dresses absolutely knows what's best. And the Queen totally suits large (sometimes VERY large!) hats. So... totally agree with you about her style. Perfect for her.
She can also rock a statement tiara like nobody else! Catherine looks beautiful in the more demure pieces, but the Queen has the hair and the confidence to wear the more dramatic tiaras with style!

They left because they wanted to do it all how they wanted, when they wanted. They didn't like being part of a team and not having full control, and they didn't like being in a supporting, junior role. They also wanted to cherrypick, and only do the interesting/glamorous/high profile jobs in order to build a separate brand so they could do merching as a sideline, which of course was also forbidden.
I adore Camilla’s hats! It’s my favorite thing about her, fashion wise. The bigger the better - particularly the chip & dip style ones she wears. I also think 2025 is going to be a very interesting year for Harry, he’s supposed to get his full inheritance from the queen mother, and the Netflix contract ends.

Hello Beebs,...I can't add much to what you said. Some things were poignant this weekend that some may not have focused on. One, which may not be too interesting, was that Prince Andrew was seen in Windsor Park with his little bro, Edward, the Duke of Edinburg, coaching, practicing, and showing him the protocol on his horse at trooping the color. Andrew has always been big on the details required of the royals. I felt a ping of tenderness for him....as reprehensible his history has been, he's actually behind the scenes supporting his family and not sitting around feeling sorry for himself. Edward is the one in the family who tends to cut him some slack. At least I saw some Cristian humility between the brothers. Lasty, when the rains came down in buckets, not one person in the whole event ran for shelter. That was especially true of Willian, Edward, and Princess Anne with raindrops running down their faces not flinching ... everyone showing that British spirit of staying calm and carrying on. But I lost it when I saw King Charles standing in the pouring rain, stoic and honorably saluting his troups as they passed in front of Buckingham Palace. Then the sun came out!
The only reason I would ever want Harry and Meghan to come back to the UK, is to watch Meghan have to curtsy to all the Royals…. One..curtsy..at..a..time..for..every..Royal who is higher ranking than she is. I would play that on a loop for hours, especially if she was wearing the 💩 hat again. They have never accurately predicted anyone's reaction to anything. The other problem with the fake royal tour is that Nigerians knew full well that those two are out of the RF -- which would otherwise have been obvious from their boorish behaviour anyway -- and didn't quite know how to treat them. To top it off, there was an announcement from the British Ambassador to the effect that it was in no way an official visit. A total shambles.
I watched some old Meghan videos recently, when she was still a teenager; before her beauty operations. I now always imagine her slightly dumb-founded, not so elegant facial expressions. That game is fun. It also proves that plastic surgery is not only for beauty. In Meghan's case at least it made her (artificially) look more intelligent.

Brigitte Macron lost her balance. It is all there is to say. The two of them allegedly get along very well. On a side note, protocol is for the UK, not in a foreign country, although people would try and respect it as much as their own traditions and customs allow it. Exactly, she is still that person. The best thing she could have done for a happy life was to follow and emulate her father and his values and actions. She saw him as a loser when in reality he was a much more centered, ethical and capable person than she will ever be.

I have taken to wearing dresses because my body isn't as nice as it used to be. I think a nice A-line is flattering and very comfortable. I live in Florida so it also helps with the hot and humid climate. Camilla looks lovely and I would love to have hats like she wears! My current go to hat needs to be replaced but those hats are too pretty for working in the garden!

Hello Beebs,...I can't add much to what you said. Some things were poignant this weekend that some may not have focused on. One, which may not be too interesting, was that Prince Andrew was seen in Windsor Park with his little bro, Edward, the Duke of Edinburg, coaching, practicing, and showing him the protocol on his horse at trooping the color. Andrew has always been big on the details required of the royals. I felt a ping of tenderness for him....as reprehensible his history has been, he's actually behind the scenes supporting his family and not sitting around feeling sorry for himself. Edward is the one in the family who tends to cut him some slack. At least I saw some Cristian humility between the brothers. Lasty, when the rains came down in buckets, not one person in the whole event ran for shelter. That was especially true of Willian, Edward, and Princess Anne with raindrops running down their faces not flinching ... everyone showing that British spirit of staying calm and carrying on. But I lost it when I saw King Charles standing in the pouring rain, stoic and honorably saluting his troups as they passed in front of Buckingham Palace. Then the sun came out!
Did you notice P Anne on Noble(the Kings difficult horse) had a look of real concern while watching the king towards the end of the Kings saluting.
The only reason I would ever want Harry and Meghan to come back to the UK, is to watch Meghan have to curtsy to all the Royals…. One..curtsy..at..a..time..for..every..Royal who is higher ranking than she is.

It seemed to me that Madame Macron was trying to suggest where they should stop backing up. It didn't look like a snub on the Queen's part. I agree with you about the Harkle's failed bluff. They have never accurately predicted anyone's reaction to anything. The other problem with the fake royal tour is that Nigerians knew full well that those two are out of the RF -- which would otherwise have been obvious from their boorish behaviour anyway -- and didn't quite know how to treat them. To top it off, there was an announcement from the British Ambassador to the effect that it was in no way an official visit. A total shambles.

Queen Camilla is always impeccably dressed. Whomever is styling her is getting it so right.
I watched some old Meghan videos recently, when she was still a teenager; before her beauty operations. I now always imagine her slightly dumb-founded, not so elegant facial expressions. That game is fun. It also proves that plastic surgery is not only for beauty. In Meghan's case at least it made her (artificially) look more intelligent.
Oh my gosh, you're right, it did. I often think that she acts exactly how the self without all of the work would. She seems always uncentered and like she just isn't quite enough for what she thinks she can pull off.
What’s unforgivable is Harry’s lack of respect for his ICONIC GRANDMOTHER. What should have been the last couple of years to spend with her and pay his last affections and extraordinary appreciation for her unique, never to be repeated reign, he goes off with his petty and willfully ignorant wife to write a tell all book about losing his virginity on a cow farm.

What the Nigeria trip showed was how incapable and inappropriate H&M are, not really a good advertisement. It's just emphasizing that they are unaware, incompetent, filled with bad judgment, and overall more trouble than help.

Brigitte Macron lost her balance. It is all there is to say. The two of them allegedly get along very well. On a side note, protocol is for the UK, not in a foreign country, although people would try and respect it as much as their own traditions and customs allow it. You don't turn your back on the wreaths either in France, unless you are physically impaired at the moment.
I think the two women are helping and supporting each other in a common situation. To me it was lovely ❤ something me and a good friend would do for each other.

I definitely had the passing thought that Harry & Meghan were "applying" to the genuine royal family with the Nigeria trip . . . 'look at us, we stand nicely, we hold our arms at our sides, we walk nicely, we review the troops, we talk, we can be royals if you need us."

Exactly, she is still that person. The best thing she could have done for a happy life was to follow and emulate her father and his values and actions. She saw him as a loser when in reality he was a much more centered, ethical and capable person than she will ever be.

She's not from the lower middle class. She was from solid middle class. Vacations, private school, paid for university. We so called lower middle class were just above the poverty line, we paid for everything ourselves and were not spoiled rotten. Mostly we have manners or we would have gotten smacked.
Anyone who has respect and love for their partner and the partner’s family, and is hard working, could succeed as a royal. Look at Catherine as a great example of that. Meghan failed because she didn’t want to learn and didn’t respect the RF.

Queen Camilla didn't snub the first lady; she was surprised by her gesture (like everyone else, I don't think anyone understood what the first lady wanted, maybe she was actually trying to regain her balance) but she didn't reject her . A storm in a glass of water !

I loved that it was a re-wear. Princess Catherine and other members of the Royal family tend to be economy minded and practical when it comes to clothes. That is relatable to me.

The legal stipulation for the trust was 40, that can't be changed. Its only £8 million, they'll soon blow through it.

I'm sure she was. Camilla is from a military family and her father was twice awarded the Military Cross for his service during WWII.
