When you talk about Catherine’s outfit for the worlds mental health day please mention the earrings. They cost 25 pounds and all proceeds go to a mental health charity.
When one is giving to charity... all the money obviously goes to the charity but by law the charity has to tell you how much actually goes to helping people and hiw mu h goes on wages and business expenses etc. That us how they get around saying..... all the money given goes to....for example... archwell ...but after everyone has had their cut they give out next to nothing. Another example adra they spend 10 % give away 90% ..... you have to look into a charities financial these days in a big big way otherwise you are just giving money to a business Most charities these days are businesses and should never ever be allowed to all themselves charities and if you are recommending to others that rhey give their money to a charity them you should know where their money goes...do not trot out the old trope that all the money goes to the charity..... of course it does but that does not mean all the money you donate goes to help people who need it.
@CouncilEstateRach well said. I never looked but would be interesting to see Archiewell charitable accounts, do they have Financial report on their website?
Loved that first gorgeous burgundy ensemble Princess Catherine wore! Her updo was stunning! Wonderful discussion of the new hairdo ❤ and her work, which included great fashion choices for her visits/work. Loved seeing each day's purposeful engagements and such appropriate fashion choices. Princess Catherine is indeed so approachable! Great video with fashion and styling tips worked in and well explained. Thank you Beebs, fantastic work. LOVE your channel and knowledgeable fashion-information, cheerful delivery, and overall fairness. ❤ Keep up the great work- it is noted & appreciated. ~Ali (Nova Scotia, Canada) 🇨🇦
What a great run down on the Princess of Wales looks, thank you Beebs! Excellent analysis ❤ omg that cream outfit for Trent was absolutely stunning! Meanwhile MM wears a horse blanket on a really hot day. 😂😂😂 great video and you look stunning ❤❤❤❤
Lovely video. It’s really hard to find fault with Catherine, you had to dig deep and even then it was minor. Catherine works hard to add that little something to her clothing or jewellery in recognition of where she is visiting. It’s equally hard to find something nice for Meghan. BTW, your hair looked lovely and I like the black top. I love buttons on the wrists of jumpers too. I can’t wear high neck jumpers, it not the look. I just can’t cope with anything close to my neck. I live in Scotland and scarves are a big thing here but it has to be bitterly cold before I wear a shaft and even them I’m pulling at it. People even wear scarves and gloves but no coat in Scotland, even in the snow and ice. Not everybody, but I have a long list of friends that do this.
And she comes from a stable, sensible family and has truly brought some goodness, intelligence and groundedness to the royal family at a much needed time!! Diana bragged she brought 'good looks' to the family, I think what Catherine has contributed has been of far greater benefit ❤❤❤ and certainly the next generation is going to be far better off... even William, with Catherine's stability, common-sense and support.❤❤
@@janiesmys461Harry will never be welcomed back by a huge number of Brits. Queen Elizabeth was the most beloved Monarch in 1400 years of royal history here. Prince Philip held a hugely special place in the hearts of many British and Commonwealth people. Above all, Philip was (unlike Harry) a *genuine* war hero. Harry, with his harridan of a wife, lied about them, taunted them, bullied them, and made their last few years far more stressful than needed. It will not be forgotten that Prince Philip was dying when that gross pair of grifters went on n international TV to tell lie after lie after lie. They are both Elder Abusers and they will never be forgiven for that.
@@janiesmys461 I think welcomed is a strong word. He would be able to come back but the trust from his family is low and he has shown he is not above bringing things up from years and years ago. I don’t know how you can ever bring back that trust.
Very true, there have been a few really big flowery numbers that I thought them ‘too busy’ but she wore them because where she was and it was a local designer. Gotta love her motives even if I didn’t care for the dresses.
I think a lot of looking good in anything comes from also looking comfortable in it. If you have to keep adjusting a neckline or pulling bits back into place it spoils the effect. It looks good if you can a actually forget what you are wearing and enjoy what you are doing.
I think I speak for most of Wales we are so proud of Catherine she is a beautiful woman inside & out William chose wisely his mother The late Princess of Wales would be so proud of them both
I think Mr. Costner looked incredibly uncomfortable the whole time. The worst thing was when he was giving his acceptance speech and he said, "I was asked, by my rude friends with no manners, 'How much does something like this cost, Kev?'" You and I both know there's only *one* person tacky enough to ask such a thing!
Yes, she just turned & grinned up at Harry because all she heard was “friends” & thought I’m friends with Kevin Costner gleefully!! Not really honey! That was his polite way of saying you’re tacky & crass, but thank you for the $24k you donated by buying tickets! Now, who the hell let you onstage with these First Responders??!!!
I think that Catherine is very mindful of the fact that there’s a cost of living crisis in the UK and lots of people are struggling so she’s probably not comfortable rocking up everywhere dressed like a peacock . Probably also why she’s comfortable with re wears.
She also has a budget to keep it, rather than Harold's wife who spent more than all the royals in europe combined. Also Catherine and all the royals want to promote British designers.
Yes, rewears, but changes just that bit so it looks different and honours the new place she's attending. Catherine does such a good job.... I'm so glad Harry has to support his money flashing wife in USA and the public are luckily not stuck with her crazy spending!!!. Even if Harry did want to come back to UK, I don't think there's a person left with open arms!!!
Catherine was always appropriately dressed, always bought many High Street items, and always rewore her clothes, long before the global cost of living crisis.
Megs wearing a huge tweed horse blanket onstage when it’s 90 degrees in LA will never stop being funny. She’s not just inappropriate, but has to be making herself physically uncomfortable. This type of outfit is what convinced me she believes that all that matters in an outfit is how much it costs/who designed it, and not ANY other factor.
"Catherine, Princess of Wales came back with a bang." Not only she did. Wow, Beebs, THAT is a look! 🤩 You look perfect. And yeah, I absolutely love you doing the real princess's fashion! Catherine is wonderful!!
The best part of the Kevin Costner debacle was when Harry told that guy to give her the microphone and he just laughed and crossed his arms! That had me crying with laughter. 😂😂😂
I liked the part when they were introduced and walked on stage, a guy in the crowd yells "get off the stage". It's quite clear since barely anyone clapped.
There’s a cute story about her mom taking her out to lunch after William had broken it off with Catherine, who-of course, took it very hard-supposedly mom was lightly chastising her daughter for ‘looking too sad’ in pictures still being snapped wherever she went. Encouraging her to retain what William fell in love with ‘keep reminding him!’. Carol noticed a waiter who kept sending admiring looks towards Catherine. So good ol mom, when he came over to ‘check on them’ said, ‘Isn’t my daughter beautiful? Ever seen hair so thick and glossy?’ Which made Catherine start laughing, even blushing, begging mom to cut it out. Guess mom made her point!😆😉
@@judywright4241Catherine was blessed with good parents and siblings, thank goodness William has them all for support now too. They all have class and taste, and self-made millionaires, so grounded and a blessing to the RF ❤❤
I think Catherine's suit choices are simply practical, but also, it feels like now that she is in this role, she wants to be portrayed as someone who will get to work, and her fashion choices reflect that. She looks like someone going to work. Thus, it feels like she is more relateable. Absolutely love it !!
Unpopular opinion here. I like Princess Catherine without bangs better. But that’s ok. We are allowed to change up and have some fun with our hair. I just can’t get enough of her gorgeous smile. It’s hard to always look this good with a big smile on. She is a true beauty.
Yeah..I like it when she curls it out better, curling under seemed to make it go in her eyes a bit...think it was a 'try it'... don't think she'll persist with the roll in/under....
I agree..the fringe is too heavy. It looks like blinders when curled forward. It needs to be whispier...and shorter. Also I wish she'd part her hair to the side ... it would open up her face.
Queen Elizabeth II, by all accounts, disliked the wearing of trousers for formal occasions so I suspect it has more to do with the work uniform / etiquette being relaxed slightly with the change of ' boss ' . She looks great in either.
I have read that. Catherine POW respected the Queen's wishes while she was alive. The places where she visited were good places for wearing pants though so I don't know why it's even an issue.
@@sahdogwrangler5594 I agree, a whole year was given in respect to the late Queen. We are now seeing more changes. It’s not all change but dressing for being more hands on is very appropriate.
I am not a fan of dresses/skirts (i feel uncomfortable in them) but Princess Catherine always took my breath away whenever i saw her in those. I especially love her ''coat dresses''. She is just stunning. Kinda happy to see her rocking more like ''casual elegant'' style tho. I absolutely adore that dark purple suit and vibrant red jacket. Her hair was amazing there in my opinion. It's been a while since she had a proper bangs and i think it suits her. I definitely think that it could become one of her new iconic looks. People are saying that it reminds them of Meghan but i think that it's completely different. At 11:00 we can clearly see that her bun is done perfectly and her fringe also falls naturally. It's not messy at all and does not remind me of Meghan. Meghan's hair in a bun is always flying around and her face framing pieces are messy. The opposite of Princess Catherine. I wish i could see a tutorial of how to do a bun in this way. It's amazing.
She is simply copying her father-in-law and her aunt-in-law, heck even her two uncles-in-law rewear clothing, it runs in the family. Plus her mother grew up on a council estate and would be we aware of the fact many people refashion and adapt clothing. Throw-away fashions are a very very new thing indeed and basically only really adopted by those with ''new'' money. Those with ''old'' money tend to wear items until they literally fall apart one day when gardening in them.
@@musicandbooklover-p2o The King can be seen in old coats that he has had re-lined and repaired. I sometimes think that any self-respecting charity shop manager would put those coats in the rag sack!
@@highmyope-ps2by Why, you shouldn't throw things out until they are literally beyond repair. I've just - very reluctantly - had to ditch my dressing gown (now I have the fun of trying to find a replacement) which I inherited from my dad who inherited from my mum's father who may have inherited it from HIS father (mum could only remember her dad wearing this dressing gown which means it comes from at least the mid 1930s but she doesn't know if he had it new or it was handed down) and I reluctantly had to ditch it because there wasn't much left to darn any longer. Unfortunately modern clothes simply don't last as long and if I do manage to find a nice dressing gown for myself (and I think I'm going to have to find some nice wool and sew my own) I very much doubt it would last around 90 years (assuming it was new to my grandfather). Anyone growing up in the 40s and 50s would be used to repairing and relining. I grew up in the 70s and wouldn't dream of getting rid of something until it's totally beyond repair when it becomes gardening clothing instead. I can tell you this, if you are lucky enough to have a great coat from the 1930s/40s then they are like gold dust and worth roughly their weight in gold. People who have a great coat inherited from serving members in the then German or British militaries hang onto them and pass them down to family members. They are STILL going strong - rumours are one person recently had to re-line his 1935 Germany army great coat inherited from a great great grandfather but apart from that it is still as good as new and so superior to anything you can buy nowadays that his sons are fighting over who will inherit it (you get some odd topics on some of the historical channels, especially ones mentioning army old uniforms) so I would guess his clothing will still have quite a few years of wear left in them.
@@musicandbooklover-p2o The Royals' frugality is one of the reasons we love them. I can just remember old Queen Mary, who "grew up on Short Street" and would not throw away things that might be useful.
@@highmyope-ps2by I totally agree and I wish more people would follow them. I remember knowing someone back in the 80s who was a gamekeeper for Lady can't-remember-her-name and she decided to have a clear out of her attics one year. He was helping out (all the male employees were drafted in I believe) to bring everything down and it was put outside - we were having one of those rare hot and dry summers - so it could be gone through and anything salvageable was to be either repaired and re-used or to given to someone who could repair and use it themselves (local furniture charities did very well that year). Apparently the attics were so full they couldn't fit anything more in hence the clear out. And while I don't think anything valuable was found there was stuff in there going back to the 1700s, much of it only needed slight repairs and they could be used again, mainly chairs with maybe a stretcher missing or the cane seat needing to be replace type of thing (all easily and cheaply done). A lot of families ended up with antiques in that area as a result but the only things burned were those that were literally beyond any and all hope of repair and apparently that wasn't much at all. The kids had a great bonfire night (she saved it all for then for the estate kids' annual fireworks night) but that was about all that was left. I think some of the local museums also gained period clothing or curtains, I know some went to the local museum in Stowmarket but fabric isn't something that really keeps very well, especially when dumped in an attic for a couple of centuries but listening to him telling me what they had found was incredible. But then most of those families who still have some money left have it because they DON'T spend it needlessly and they DO recycle and re-use whenever possible. Something that I wish more people would do today instead of instantly dumping something the moment it stops working (same goes for manufacturers, if they made things to be repaired rather than simply dumped it would help) or because the latest fashion changes.
For myself, I would be so happy never to see MM’s naked “shoulders and neck” look. It is revolting at this point. Beebs, you look very nice today and it was a super show!
True. She continually wears those huge TUBE tops and shows off her shoulders and neck, making it look like her outfit will fall and she'll be naked any second. Then the belts up underneath her boobs.....still don't understand those at all......just a weird look. Nothing she wears actually FLATTERS her body type. Shes a small person, and wears clothes either too big or too small. She's a walking dichotomy in terms .....always. Her personality, hair, clothes, words, speech are all constant dichotomies. Always at odds with each other.....she cant come to grips on anything it seems, like having a rock solid secure "anything". I think she's just unstable period, and I dont believe I'm alone on that viewpoint
Naked shoulders, neck, back, arms, legs, feet, bras on display, and see-through clothes. At this point, there's only one thing that's not regularly on display, unless you ask Serena Williams husband!
For me, it's the fact that MM doesn't wear a slip under her dresses. The recent photo of the Harkles walking, you can see that she's wearing thong underwear. Her strapless bra is a fashion fail too.
@@rt66vintage16 I agree, but I grouse on about stockings, undergarments and slips so much that figure my dinosaur self is howling at the moon. MM always looks like a “thoroughfare stroller” to me.
Is there a disorder called "Seasonal Screwups"? MM wears a tweed horse blanket, or a overcoat & scarf in 90 LA heat, but wears a shoulder bearing taco wrap in 60 degree NY cold. What is wrong with this woman??
Thank you Beebs, this Catherine video was exactly what I've been craving. As usual, you brought out every nuance, deep diving into how excellent her choices were for each occasion. Personally, I'm loving the suits & pants/blazer ensembles, especially for fall. As for the Harkle debacle, that was beyond comprehension. HOW did she see that horse blanket monstrosity & say yes, I need that? The entire situation was beyond cringe. Thank you for another wonderful video, Luv ya Honey!💖
I absolutely love the fact Catherine seems to be ageing naturally. I know she will have access to fantastic skincare but I really don’t see the Botox/fillers here. I really hope she doesn’t get abuse as she gets older because she could be a trail blazer for aging gracefully and naturally. Something that appears to be currently lost by most.
Nah come on now ! You don't see it ?? Her forehead is unshakably fixed 😄 and her eyebrows keep arching every year a more, slowly turning into circumflex accents, typical Botox signs... She needs to cool it with the injections 4 real.
Which is why I looove the fringe bangs on her.... A lot of "younger looking" older women do a fringe bang bc it does help keep a youthful, but natural younger look! It's not too much, like chemicals or surgery, but still gives a youthful playful look. I love it and I hope OTHER women take note bc woww have fillers, etc, hit the scene and spread like a plague, Way too overdone & overfilled. If they only knew how much OLDER it actually makes them look 🫨
@@jeanne2583-w1n Baby Botox refers to small doses of Botox injected into your face. It’s similar to traditional Botox, but it’s injected in smaller amounts. Safety Botox is considered a low-risk procedure, but minor side effects are common. Minor side effects can include pain, swelling, headache, and flu-like symptoms.
The cream jumper with the knitted midi skirt was, imo, the star of this video! It show's the importance of picking the right length to suit your height, keeping a relaxed fit but still with a contoured silhouette and most importantly - the value of appropriate and decent under-garments! That skirt could have been a major fail, but Catherine pulled it off fabulously and with class.
One big difference between the Princess of Wales and Harry’s wife is that the Princess of Wales pays attention to event she is attending. She doesn’t have to make the event about her, and she also dresses appropriately. I really liked how sweet she was when at the rugby event a child tickled her, and she was playful about it.
Catherine Princess of Wales played that moment beautifully. It showed how empathetic, regal and playful she is. That was such a genuine moment. She was surprised(as anyone would be) but she was so beautiful.
I used to have an outfit like the knit outfit in navy and it was my fav. I wore it out. The Kevin Costner event was a disaster for the Megs. Her pants look goofy with the horse blanket. Costner is not falling for it.
I will never, and I mean NEVER understand why Harrys wife insists on pleated pants. Her latest monstrosity she wore in New York, the shoulder less blazer and pants were the worst offense yet.
Nah!! Marching in front of Verterans in her baggy short-shorts has been the rudest thing yet!!! Just disgusting that she abuses the Queen and Her country, and then marches in front of Her returned soldiers like MM has been made 'honorary Queen' was just the rudest thing I have seen yet!!!!! I an still reeling!!!😮😮😮😮
@@lynettefinnigan9540 me too. She knew she was being insulting and taking the piss and thise people had no choice but to walk behind her..... if they ever do it again...
I am short and short-waisted and I have a constant battle with my pants fitting. If they fit my waist I have to take in the hips and thighs. Luckily I can sew! But I just don’t get Meghan Markle’s lack of self awareness regarding her short waist and why she doesn’t have a tailor on call at all times. Just mind boggling how she chooses her outfits.
It all comes down to 1. Choosing most expensive in the shop instead of what looks good 2. Constantly believing she is Always Right, even though she constantly gets it wrong and really should listen to advice!!!!!
It is the other one and her minions who jealously and foolishly invite the comparisons thinking that the vulgar American "Kween" can be number one if they remove Princess Catherine. Quality and humanity just isn't there. It is not about Meghan's body shape, or skinny legs, or her bunions. It is her vindictive, insatiable, sadistic personality. If she could show some respect and feel compassion and love and was nice we would probably think she was beautiful too. She dresses horrible and looks horrible because she is horrible and hollow and appreciates nothing.
You look good in black. You look beautiful, your hair and makeup are spot on! Please do more of these Catherine the Princess of Wales getting it right! She has great taste and style and is always dressed appropriately for the occasion, weather and season. 🎉
You look gorgeous today! Catherine is very athletic, very nicely put together and moves purposefully and easily. She can let her hair down and not look messy. It makes her look approachable. I think she looks best with her hair up but she’s careful to keep her features open and visible. I love the way she interacts with children and sportsmen and seniors. Her engagement is obvious. Wearing casual and athletic outfits makes her participation and interest obvious.
I like the way the Princess uses style to match the purpose and mood of an event. The prison visit for example--visit to a men's prison, her suit with the plain round collar top really acknowledged "this isn't about being sexy." She can't help being gorgeous, but there are times when professionalism is really crucial to present. She's really clear while remaining approachable and warm and respectful.
Seriously tho, that mindset is a lost art in todays fashion where many people believe "i have to appear sexy all the time, doesn't matter the time and place". Especially when you have Kim K as a role model.
Was the award for Costner though? I know people assume it was but I think it may have been handed to him by Harry for him to then present it to the actual recipient who was one of the first responders they were honouring. Which makes the farrago even more ridiculous because Meg handed the award to Harry who handed it to Kevin who then handed it to someone else. Pass the parcel. It makes the Sussexes even more redundant, they did not need to be there, except for the publicity of course.
I agree with you about PC wearing pantsuits for practical reasons. Whenever she wears a pant suit she is not just showing up to events to shake hands like the Queen used to do. PC is sitting in the floor with children or doing other activities with people that requires a more casual yet pulled together look. Then later on she is picking up her children from school. The Queen, as lovely as she was, was not that engaged physically with the public or her children.
The late Queen was very much of her time, as the current Princess of Wales is off her own. Different presentations, but I really think they're similar.
@@fibanocci314I remember how they both wore red at Christmas some years back. Catherine when she played the piano with that singer (whose name I can't remember), the Queen when she gave her annual Christmas address. I thought it was intentional, the Queen rarely wore red, (never?) so she was making a definite statement, as if to say, I think Catherine is tops, I approve of her whole-heartedly.
I've seen the horse blanket on a model, and once again, it seems that she got a size too big. Harold's wife grabbed a random award, handed it to Harold, who then shoved it at Kevin Costner, and it was The Wrong Award, it was for another gentleman. So Mr Costner had to put it down so it could later be re-presented. What a debacle! Kevin and his wife have been promoting First responders in their community for years, The awards were being given by the First Responders, so the award does mean something, but it had Nothing To Do With The Harkles, they bought a table but that gave them a reason to show up, but Not To Speak. The celebs who have WME representation, like Kevin Costner, are having their arms twisted to help the Harkles out, no one wants to do it.
It would be strange for Kevin Costner to be getting an award at an Event he arranged. He could have said he's there to hand out Awards not receive them. LOL. That's exactly what the Harkles do though.
Well that clears up a question I had..since Kevin Runs the Awards, I wondered why the Harkles were handing him one (I thought they must have brought some dumb award from their 'Archiewell Foundation' to plug it at Kevin's event!!) I wouldn't put it past MM to do that!!!! I loved how KC had ensured his staff knew Not to give The Wife a microphone!!!😂😂😂😂
I keep feeling that Catherine wearing the turtleneck when she and William met Tim Cook was her homage to Mr Cook's late boss, Steve Jobs, who was well known for wearing turtleneck all the time. I think it was a thoughtful sentiment, for Catherine is well-known for using her clothes & accessories to convey meaning to the people and countries she visits, much like The Late Queen.
Catherine is always impeccably put together for the job. As for the harmkels- the people on stage tried a few times to give the mic to Harry but meme tried to take it the first time-the second time Harry was motioning to the guy to give it to meme but the guy held it with both hands to his chest. Clearly the staff and presenters were told to not let her have the mic😂 and WME was behind this PR stunt-Kevin Costner is also a WME client 🙄wrong move kev.
The knit Jersey and matching skirt outfit is my absolute favourite look. The color is perfect also. I'm going to try and recreate it myself. Catherine always looks great. It's amazing how she can even make cheaper clothes look expensive and Meghan makes expensive clothes look cheap. The Kevin Costner event was very cringy looking. Why they were there is bizarre. I heard someone yelling get off the stage, when they were walking on. But Kevin didn't look like he wanted to shake his hand, by holding the award with both hands. Harry also looks a mess. I think they were planted at last minute at this event. Kevin's been doing these things for years and as always, they try to hijack other people's shine.
You do such a good job on all these outfits! I never knew exactly what made something really work or not, just if I liked it or not. You explain it and even add what they could have done to make something better. Unfortunately, Meghan doesn’t have a dresser to help her, or more likely, she doesn’t listen to anyone! Catherine always looks great ❤
If this had been last Sunday then that horse blanket would have been a tragic mistake but honestly, what she wore in New York makes almost everything else pale in comparison. Also, in regards to any double standards in the fringe department, I think you hit the nail on the head, Meg's not fringe or bangs, it's layers which really bugs me and as you said, the amount is a big difference as well. Kate can still look people in the eye.
Were catalogs still a thing when y’all were growing up? I see this array of Catherine in these Autumn looks and am immediately thrown back to Fall catalogs that came out in August and you could order your new “school wardrobe.” I made so many lists. Mom just took me to Venture. 😅
Beebs, you really take your own advice! Every time I think you can't improve your look...then you go and do this! Wow! How you pull off down-to-earth elegance! Thanks for the compilation of Katherine's outfits. Can't pick a favourite. She is among other things an absolute visual delight. BTW, I didn't mind the turtle neck in the suit, just for variety.
Regarding The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, l think it completely explodes the myth that the Royal Family is cold and unaffectionate. The warmth between them all was clear.
Hi Beebs, I just wanted to say thank you for your coverage of the Princess of Wales. I like seeing the fashions she rocks. So classy and elegant. I’m in the same mindset as you that she considers the event she’s going to be at and what the situation calls for her to be wearing. But at the same time she goes into the fashion forward genre and does that with the same attitude that she’s going to be expected to make a statement because that brings publicity to the charity she’s attending by doing that. Love her! Megan should pay very close attention to Kate, and take some cues from her in how to do things better. First though she needs to come to grips with her body type and get her clothes tailored to suit her since she doesn’t seem to know and picks clothes she likes but won’t ever look good without a ton of tailoring. Which seems a little odd and would be false economy considering the amount she spends on clothes that don’t work for her.
Yes, it's not only the clothes...because even when she gets an outfit that doesn't look to bad on her, it's always then simply the wrong thing to wear to that type of venue....simply cannot work out what goes with what, how to make an appropriate speech, how to act 'normal' (always jumping in, desperately grabbing and hugging everyone!!) Hopeless, really hopeless!!!!😮
The Princess of Wales very often wears clothes that can be bought on the High Street(with a few alterations to make them individual to her). The result being, thatvthat particular line is sold out within 24 hours. She brings in quite a large revenue for British designers. On foreign/international engagements,I think she always includes an outfit(outfits) from that particular countries' designers. Always dresses appropriately for the occasion... faultless.
It was really disrespectful how Meghan and Harry basically blocked the first responders on stage. They didn't even exist to them even though the event was for the first responders.
It’s a JOY to see The Princess of Wales who ALWAYS looks classy, elegant and put together dressed appropriately for the occasion. Catherine can get whatever it is, tailored even the “baggy pants” look. The pants Catherine wears are the appropriate width for her height and weight. With Megs, it’s the one who spends the most, wins the day 🤮 She’s never heard of an iron, or a tailor or an outfit that’s not horribly expensive and exaggerated, plus way too much jewelry. Catherine is flawless where Megs is classless. Catherine never seems to put a foot wrong in dressing where Megs get the outfit wrong as well as the shoes! Catherine is aging well and perfectly where Megs looks like she’s sick with a gaunt, wrinkled with the look of someone who dropped weight too quickly. Not flattering at all. Megs needs to drop the toilet paper, maxi pad, and horse blanket looks. All the best PR in the World can’t fix Megs clothing. It’s the Princess and then we have the Pauper. At least she dresses that way. Ewwwww!
@@Laguns-ij4hn great idea, thank you! Yes I think petite might work for her especially in the length. I’m tall and I’ll bet I could wear her pants hem! Her longer arms, petite, might be too short. However, she’s never heard of a tailor???!!!! With her kind of money put a petite skirt on her and regular top.
Hi Beebs!☺️🍀☺️ I SO enjoy your channel!! I am an older lady who remembers many of the rules of etiquette. For example, dressing for the occasion, dressing professionally vs. casually etc. Looking at some of the "barely there" designs that women were wearing on the red carpets this year really made me cringe. Not just because I'm an old fuddy-duddy, but were I there, I would feel as if I was talking to someone in a negligee. I understand that these dresses were meant to be "sexy", "daring" or "edgy", but honestly some of them just screamed "look at my boobs", or, "look at my ass" So I got to thinking, would you have any interest in doing a comparison video of say, very skimpy designer dresses vs. non-skimpy dresses but that still convey sensuality, or, seductiveness in a more subtle, elegant way? I think a little mystery can be sexy too. Skin can be shown after all, just not every where you look, so to speak. I attended a fashion institute about 45 years ago. I thought I i might want to go into fashion design back then. (I ended up with dual master's degrees, one in chemical dependency addiction and the other in interpersonal practice with children and youth, Social Work) I told you that to tell you this: Thank you for calling out the Meg when she wears completly inappropriate fashions, Putting the focus of attention on herself, rather than the cause she is allegedly trying to highlight. It is ludacris . (I say "allegedly" because her desperation to be the center of attention is so transparent🙄 she is obviously trying to promote herself!) I love the way you point it out whenever you see it. It really does make a difference. I've worked most of my career with abused and neglected children and investigating child abuse allegations. The way I was dressed could make kids feel uncomfortable if it was too formal or comfortable and welcoming if it was casual. Consequently I rarely wore a professional suit unless I was going to testify in court or some other more "formal" part of my job. Around the kids, I always just wore slacks and a sweater. Your analysis of "the Meg's" behaviors is spot on as well! Well I didn't mean to go on for that long I've just been meaning to tell you how much I enjoy your channel for a long time. I hope you have an amazing weekend ahead!
MM's poncho-top thingy is another miss by your favorite Carolina Herarra. This year's collection is equestrian themed and that is a poncho although it makes her look rugged up (fitted with a horse blanket) - the belt looks like a strap to buckle it on. Also, going with the horse theme - her hair how we tie horsetails up for polo or fox hunting - it's called a mud knot.
Princess Catherine...I get all starry-eyed whenever I see her. She has always been the pinnacle of beauty and grace to me but she does it so well that you never notice the effort in her effortless elegance.
It’s 2023. Women have been choosing trousers for professional work for decades. Catherine looks classy and put together no matter what. I do just love how she approaches each engagement with genuine enthusiasm. She puts so much thought into her outfit for the occasion so she can focus entirely on the event and the people. All women can understand the need to shake up their hairstyle, and she handles the fringe quite well. I can’t help imagining how Meghan would have ruined the Sezane outfit with her cookie cutter bra and panty lines. I read that Kevin didn’t want H&M at his event and was pressured by WME. He had apparently instructed that Meghan not get her hands on the mic. And once again her outfit could not have been worse. Thanks for highlighting all the great Catherine looks!
Allegedly the event was open to ANYONE willing to pay for a ticket at the door. One channel even gave a list of the different tickets you could buy and what you got with each one, so it was as open to the calamitous Californian Couple as it was to the wealthy merchant from downtown wherever it is they live.
Catherine Princess of Wales pant suits are elegant, flattering, impeccably tailored, appropriate for the occasion, professional, powerful, & approachable. I have a lukewarm feeling regarding pants suits. Catherine influenced & swayed my feelings towards pant suits. As expected she looks amazing.
The sweater skirt combo was a WIN for Catherine! She is the embodiment of class! I think it was Jen’s channel that compared the Kevin Costner outfit to a horse blanket! 😂😂😂
The Sèzane sweater skirt set? Impeccable. Shapewear? Flawless. Markle could never. Imagine William & Catherine visiting LA and the hoardes of A-listers that would run past Markle & Harry to meet them? It would be so karmic. I love that William & Catherine don’t have to clutch at and paw each other to show how in love they are. You look at them and see the effortless mutual love, respect & admiration.
Loved your look today; understated, sleek and sophisticated! Your commentary is always thoughtful and helpful. Comparisons help to show how some options work and why others don’t. Thank you for all you do!
I think Harry is so lost at these events. Imagine going from events where you there because you are representing the Queen with attendees that honor your role to events where you are trying to beg for relevancy with attendees that don't know you and question why you are even there. He's lost all the confidence the prior events gave him and he is floundering. The irony is MM thinks they are on top of the world.
The horse blanket rimended me instantly of a rug, type of found in the attic after 50 years. She's the modern day YOKO ONO, who btw married a millionaire and took over.
I think the difference is the tendrils markle wears are a constant source of distraction. She continually fools with them, pushing them behind her ears.
Love your videos Beeps! Catherine is a real gem, I love her style. Classic, business like and practical. Not much can be said about the H&M look, H always looks run-down and M is inappropriately dressed. Both lack any awareness of style.
I understand why Catherine’s suits are so simple and I don’t disagree with her style. I just really love her in jewel tones rather than neutrals. And I wish her pant suits sometimes had some subtle pattern to them. …….But I’m in no way criticizing her, because she always looks fantastic. 😁😁
Fun fact: The award, which was immediately grabbed by this one to hand it over to that one and then to Kevin, was NOT his!!! It was never planed for Kevin to receive anything at all!!! All those awads were meant to go solely to those guys on the stage!!! Period! But those two couldn't care less. They gate crashed this event and took it over - as always! They had nothing to do with the planing, the organisation, the fundaising etc. It was just another photo opportunity, another grift, another PR stunt, another try to sway the public! There is a picture in which Kevin gave the prior received award to the rightful recipient.
Princess Catherine's look with the specific color of the camel pantsuit, the wide legs, combined with her 70's "banana roll" bangs is straight out of "Charlie's Angels"! The original with Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jacqueline Smith (Catherine is full on Kelly Garrett!)
Harry's Wife was dressed by Equine Sleepware in a casual black and white tweed horse blanket with black fetlock coverings. Stylishly accessorised with black horse shoes and matching husband in black with touches of red for contrast from the House of Harry's Wife.
Oh, Beebs, this was a fantastic video critique. I really enjoyed seeing princess Katherine in all those beautiful clothes! MM horse blanket was awful. Do you think they are wearing dark colors, i.e., black all the time because they exude such a dark aura around them? Kind of like the black cloud overhead. Almost cult like.
Catherine looks amazing 🤩 I wish I could wear clothing like Catherine's at my age & my tummy. 😂 That blanket coat had me confused on what the weather was. That one lady was wearing a summer dress & Me-ghan looks like Fall 🍁 I have a blanket shawl that I wear over a thin coat in the Fall into the beginning of Winter in Canada for extra warmth..
I completely agree with your analysis of the Princess. She’s lovely. And thank you for bringing up the event and purpose to light for her clothing choices. And I concur that you looked lovely today - your hair, makeup, and shirt were on point!
Catherine is just one of those Women who are blessed and deserves it! She has 3 kids and her body jumps right back into shape and I bet she doesn't have a stretch mark or nasty veins on her legs!💗
You look fantastic today! Love the more formal (-ish) look on you and hairstyle defines your features nicely. Re Katherine's fringe vs MM's tendrils is just that -- as you said. On MM too they're just all over the map and irritating which jives with her overall aura. And when they dangle in front of her eyes, adds a touch of lunacy. One other element is the texture of MM's hair. Because it is the result of straightening (likely over-?), it won't hang as effortlessly as Katherine's and likely have a persistent unnatural and messy look. BUT honestly, MM has so burned her bridges with me that she could be perfectly-attired and I'd find fault. Whereas opposite is true for Katherine who I'd conversely consider looking grand wearing bed sheets! (Knowing fully well that she would do her part and have them styled, fitted etc. LOL)
I have to say I have mixed feelings about Catherine’s hair 🙊🙈 (please don’t come at me haha!) It’s growing on me because she’s so lovely and so she could do anything to her hair and be gorgeous, but yeah I’m just not sure how I feel about the fringe. I always thought she’d look nice in a long bob, but then that’s not really her style. Anywho, just my 2 cents. Either way, it’s much better than the overwhelming abundance of extensions we see on Meghan at times.
I've seen your previous videos discussing how Angelina's style could work on Meghan. The latter should hire Angelina Jolie's stylist. The direction Meghan wants to navigate (though motives may vary) is not far from what Angelina is actually doing but Angelina knows how to dress appropriately. Meghan can learn a lot from them, though she's too stubborn to recognize she needs help. It's a pity that she has money but doesn't know how to use it.
Meghan is a narcissist who thinks she knows everything and does not need advice. And I’m sure she believes she’s the best dressed fashion icon the world has ever seen. No logic or self awareness.
The whole of Harry's demeanor was patronizing and disrespectful since the prize was not coming from their foundation but from Kevin's own. That tap on the shoulder! like saying "good chap, good man. That's all, you're dismissed" was soo insulting. They're never seeing Kevin again, these two burn bridges at the speed of light!
Another example adra they spend 10 % give away 90% ..... you have to look into a charities financial these days in a big big way otherwise you are just giving money to a business
Most charities these days are businesses and should never ever be allowed to all themselves charities and if you are recommending to others that rhey give their money to a charity them you should know where their money goes...do not trot out the old trope that all the money goes to the charity..... of course it does but that does not mean all the money you donate goes to help people who need it.
@@CouncilEstateRach5 pounds from the purchase of each of these earrings is donated to the charity.

You are absolutely gorgeous today!
Oh thank you!
These outfits will be planned months in advance
To be fair, the Princess of Wales could wear a burlap coffee beans sack and still look stunning.
Excellent commentary of the fashions and style. You really know how to comment accurately on these outfits. Well done.
Princesa de Gales sempre vestida de acordo com o evento, já a de Montecito...sem palavras...
Kudos to you for calling it a "fringe"!
You look beautiful Beebs. I love Catherine videos
Not everybody, but I have a long list of friends that do this.
what is great about the Wales's is that Will is not threatened by kate's popularity. They are truly a team.
William is proud of her, he encourages her to step forward.
I think he would be welcomed back if he divorced his abuser.
Catherine always dresses appropriately for the occasion…the fact that she always looks lovely in whatever she wears is just a plus…
Well said 👏
All high profile people need guidance in high profile events.
Very true, there have been a few really big flowery numbers that I thought them ‘too busy’ but she wore them because where she was and it was a local designer. Gotta love her motives even if I didn’t care for the dresses.
The blouse looks nice on you. The color compliments your complexion.
I think a lot of looking good in anything comes from
also looking comfortable in it. If you have to keep adjusting a neckline or pulling bits back into place it spoils the effect. It looks good if you can a actually forget what you are wearing and enjoy what you are doing.
I think I speak for most of Wales we are so proud of Catherine she is a beautiful woman inside & out William chose wisely his mother The late Princess of Wales would be so proud of them both
Agree! I adore Catherine PoW and I think Diana is smiling down on William and Catherine and their adorable family!
Yep. mm and h looked at each other when he said it and laughed. They are just classless enough to ask that. Morons both of them.
And she cackled with glee and turned to Harry with delight when her crassness was noted to Mr Costner.
Just clueless.
@@cleverkittn--That giggle and wifey looking up at Harry (whose expression was annoyed) and her glee showed ‘He’s in love with ME, Haz!’
If I had been Mr. Costner I don’t think I would have even acknowledged the Morons from Montecito.
I truly believe she is as kind and mindful as she appears.
Yes, I agree with you. Catherine treads very carefully because she knows that everything she does reflects on the Crown.
Just like last year's September NYC designer fashion road kill where it was 80°+ and she was wearing those huge baggy, wintery jackets and pants...
Horse blanket goes perfect with horse teeth 😁
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have a feeling if Katherine was never a Royal, she would still have a fabulous wardrobe. She really knows what looks good on her.
No, she didn't dress very well when she was dating Prince William, but she's a smart woman and clearly knows when to take advice.
And she doesn’t need a kingly allowance to buy them . . .
Her parents are millionaires and she’d have married fairly well in any case so she was going to have a fabulous wardrobe anyway
And a bit shorter hair too
Agree, I dislike the fringe. It's too casual/messy. She is more flattered with the long layers.
I agree..the fringe is too heavy. It looks like blinders when curled forward. It needs to be whispier...and shorter. Also I wish she'd part her hair to the side ... it would open up her face.
I agree.
It’s a generational thing too. My mum was just 4 months older than the Queen. My Mum did wear trousers but formal was always a skirt or dress.
@@sahdogwrangler5594 I agree, a whole year was given in respect to the late Queen. We are now seeing more changes. It’s not all change but dressing for being more hands on is very appropriate.
You confirmed the question I’d asked before I read all the comments… I was thinking the same thing.
Thank you for covering Catherine’s gorgeous looks, I really love it! You look stunning today as well!!
Thank you so much!!
You really do Beebs, you are a very beautiful young lady and do us shorties proud!
With how ppl are having hard times economically, Catherine rewearing pieces is smart. It sends a very down to earth message.
You mentioned the white pant suit as classic. That really sums up her entire look - classic and classy.
I've seen far too much of her shoulders, neck, and armpits as well as those of her mother.
For me, it's the fact that MM doesn't wear a slip under her dresses. The recent photo of the Harkles walking, you can see that she's wearing thong underwear. Her strapless bra is a fashion fail too.

Well said, totally agree 👍 👏
I absolutely love the fact Catherine seems to be ageing naturally. I know she will have access to fantastic skincare but I really don’t see the Botox/fillers here. I really hope she doesn’t get abuse as she gets older because she could be a trail blazer for aging gracefully and naturally. Something that appears to be currently lost by most.
She does get baby Botox since her early 30s. Princess Catherine also gets regular facials.
And, what is "baby Botox" and how do you know this?
@@jeanne2583-w1n Baby Botox refers to small doses of Botox injected into your face. It’s similar to traditional Botox, but it’s injected in smaller amounts. Safety Botox is considered a low-risk procedure, but minor side effects are common. Minor side effects can include pain, swelling, headache, and flu-like symptoms.

I love Catherine's range of coat dresses and the deep purple one is perfect for autumn/fall and winter engagements.
Nailed it, she is bringing attention to what she is doing and who she is doing it for, not herself. Princess Katherine is a lady.
@@lynettefinnigan9540 that's fair! Good point.
@@lynettefinnigan9540Did you see her filthy toenails when she was leading the March? Couldn't be bothered to get a pedicure.
@@lynettefinnigan9540 me too. She knew she was being insulting and taking the piss and thise people had no choice but to walk behind her..... if they ever do it again...
Meghan was not embarrassed trying to grab the microphone, she is shameless. Still laughing and grinning ear to ear. 😩
No. Old Megs was embarrassed and pissed, but she kept that rictus grin plastered on her face in an attempt to downplay the whole wretched moment.
It all comes down to
1. Choosing most expensive in the shop instead of what looks good
2. Constantly believing she is Always Right, even though she constantly gets it wrong and really should listen to advice!!!!!
Beebs dahling you look so lovely. Thank you for sticking up for Catherine's Suit Evolution. It is practical. She is busy. And she ROCKS THEM!❤🎉
💛💛💛
I don’t understand comparing Princess Catherine with that other one. The princess has class. This other one has none. This is giving her credibility.
Very well said!💞
You can tell that people feel her authenticity in how they react to her. People love her. She is just a beautiful human. Inside and out.
🙂👍
Seriously tho, that mindset is a lost art in todays fashion where many people believe "i have to appear sexy all the time, doesn't matter the time and place". Especially when you have Kim K as a role model.
Catherine lifts spirits. She and William light up the world. They are adorable.
🤣 She is a walking faux pas.
Oh wow I didn’t know about that! How awful of them to just grab a random award. Yikes!
It would be strange for Kevin Costner to be getting an award at an Event he arranged. He could have said he's there to hand out Awards not receive them. LOL.
That's exactly what the Harkles do though.
That's something I didn't know! So cringe worthy 😅
Jobs always wore a black turtleneck so I don’t think that was the intent
@Wee162 Her references can sometimes be subtle and the royals tend to avoid black, so I wouldn't rule it out just because of that.
Yes!!❤️
Can I just say, you are looking more elegantly stunning than ever! Your makeup, hair and top are flawless.
Thank you so much
My God, Kate has a brilliant PR team. From great clothes to not letting out even ONE bad photograph. And she listens to them. It's smart.
I wouldn't want to look MM in the eyes!! I'd be scared she'd suck out my soul!!!!!😮😮😮
Were catalogs still a thing when y’all were growing up? I see this array of Catherine in these Autumn looks and am immediately thrown back to Fall catalogs that came out in August and you could order your new “school wardrobe.” I made so many lists. Mom just took me to Venture. 😅
😂 Yes, there was a bit of a gap between what we wished for and what we got!
I couldn't wait to get all the big Fall & Winter catalogs.
Spiegel was my favorite.
I almost forgot about Venture dept stores!
Beebs, you always look gorgeous! Extra gorgeous on this video! ❤ always looking forward for your fashion advice. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!
I love that sweater and midi skirt look on Catherine. She looks very sexy in it and don’t even think she was trying to be sexy.
💛💛💛
I love this white/cream knit skirt &button sleeve sweater❤️🇨🇦!! Still fighting Covid lack of toning 😢
Regarding The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, l think it completely explodes the myth that the Royal Family is cold and unaffectionate. The warmth between them all was clear.
Hi Beebs,
I just wanted to say thank you for your coverage of the Princess of Wales.
Btw, you look great in your outfit today. Black looks gorgeous on you!😊
Thanks! 💛
She DOES pay close attention to Catherine
Creeperly so
The Princess of Wales
very often wears clothes that can be bought on the High Street(with a few alterations to make them individual to her). The result being, thatvthat particular line is sold out within 24 hours. She brings in quite a large revenue for British designers. On foreign/international engagements,I think she always includes an outfit(outfits) from that particular countries' designers.
Always dresses appropriately for the occasion... faultless.
I wish Joan River was here to critique Meghan's wardrobe!
With Megs, it’s the one who spends the most, wins the day 🤮
She’s never heard of an iron, or a tailor or an outfit that’s not horribly expensive and exaggerated, plus way too much jewelry.
Ewwwww!
@tonistark4169 Well said! And great to see you, Toni 💝
Even if Catherine gets an outfit not quite right (rare), she's given grace because she's not a raging b-word who rubs everyone the wrong way.
@@NYC_Urbanista Hi!!!! It’s so GREAT to see you too! Hope alls well! XOXO ❤️
well said!! maybe MM needs to go to a petite cut.
That green suit is THE BEST! She looks amazing in that color and cut.
Is it my computer? That suit looks like a deep teal to me, not green.
Hi Beebs!☺️🍀☺️
I SO enjoy your channel!!
I understand that these dresses were meant to be "sexy", "daring" or "edgy", but honestly some of them just screamed "look at my boobs", or, "look at my ass"
So I got to thinking, would you have any interest in doing a comparison video of say, very skimpy designer dresses vs. non-skimpy dresses but that still convey sensuality, or, seductiveness in a more subtle, elegant way? I think a little mystery can be sexy too.
Skin can be shown after all, just not every where you look, so to speak.
I attended a fashion institute about 45 years ago. I thought I i might want to go into fashion design back then.
(I ended up with dual master's degrees, one in chemical dependency addiction and the other in interpersonal practice with children and youth, Social Work) I told you that to tell you this: Thank you for calling out the Meg when she wears completly inappropriate fashions,
Putting the focus of attention on herself, rather than the cause she is allegedly trying to highlight. It is ludacris . (I say "allegedly" because her desperation to be the center of attention is so transparent🙄 she is obviously trying to promote herself!)
I love the way you point it out whenever you see it.
Meg wouldn't be able to take garments back if she had them tailored 😮
Catherine re-wearing the pinstripe so soon is very relatable as I and most people I know would do the same.
Catherine is breath taking. She's the classiest lady in the world right now.
Loved your look today; understated, sleek and sophisticated! Your commentary is always thoughtful and helpful. Comparisons help to show how some options work and why others don’t. Thank you for all you do!
💛💛
Love how Catharine shows up ready to work
Looking gorgeous too! 🥰
Almost always, Catherine dresses right on.
Fun fact:
The award, which was immediately grabbed by this one to hand it over to that one and then to Kevin, was NOT his!!!
That is hilarious 😅
😂😂😂
Oh, Beebs, this was a fantastic video critique. I really enjoyed seeing princess Katherine in all those beautiful clothes! MM horse blanket was awful. Do you think they are wearing dark colors, i.e., black all the time because they exude such a dark aura around them? Kind of like the black cloud overhead. Almost cult like.
Beebs, your look today is my favourite. The eyes and the sleek hair is lovely.
Thank you so much
Catherine looks amazing 🤩 I wish I could wear clothing like Catherine's at my age & my tummy. 😂
That blanket coat had me confused on what the weather was.
Your hair and makeup look great today. You must go out and be fabulous.
Oh thank you!
Catherine is just one of those Women who are blessed and deserves it! She has 3 kids and her body jumps right back into shape and I bet she doesn't have a stretch mark or nasty veins on her legs!💗
It's discipline.
I doubt her body just does that, it’s due to hard work.
@@ynys_mon6928 ...and never eating. She's a steely woman who knows how to play the part she won for herself.
Thank you for a great video. I love the cream jumper and skirt that Catherine, Princess of Wales, wore. It 's just stunning.
