Hey Erik, I think you should try incorporate a 'playing yardage' into your game. For example a 145yard shot, off an upslope add 5, into the wind add 10 equals 160. Then select your club off that yardage. A couple of long shots and short shots I believe just off misjudging these factors

The key to Bandon is no 3 putts. So much easier said than done. Don’t shoot for birdie or take any risks, play every shot conservative and you’ll have an awesome day. “Go for it” and you’re gonna lose balls and end up in places that looked good from the tee, but are not great approaches

In the beginning #10 was almost a par 4. Hole #9 was only gonna use the lower green. It was a last minute call to make #10 a par 3.

Erik I really like seeing a good golfer have some of the same problems I have had on this course. Hit a bad shot and pay a high price. I had to watch this all the way to the end to see 17. That bunker on the left is so deep. It looks like you had some of the best weather. I hope to play sheep ranch later this year. Thank you for all the videos.
You really really need to pay more attention to those 10 cm putts, where you try to play mr. cool and play a litte backhand and ultimately the balls does not go in. This is disgusting and happens one or two times each round you show here. Take your normal stance, concentrate and put it in!
If Eric improves his putting and short game he could play some really great golf.

I'm just seeing this video now Erik, but the favourite golf shot of my entire life came on this hole, I plugged in the front bunker on this hole 2 summers ago in a 4 club wind at least, and I manged to hole out after splashing one out to a back pin to make birdie, hands down my favourite golf shot and will make me remember Bandon for the rest of my life. Thanks for this video.
EAL you have to make a stop by Denver and play Green Valley Ranch. Hidden Gem where the longest hole in one every recorded happened (517 yards). Get that ace cam goin' for a par 5.
Love the golf vlog EAL. Refreshing for the average golfer to watch someone make mistakes and also great shots. Gives a sense of reality to the game. Honest question, why do you play from tips? I've recently figured out I have more fun when not playing tips and sometimes even play up 2 tees. It really depends on the course.
To piggyback of the golf-church quote, my favorite one I've heard is, "remember what it was like when you played for fun". It was a professional athlete explaining how to keep the mindset of why they push through the boredom/exhaustion. And you, Erik, make every round of golf look fun.
What kind of pants are those?
Watching the EAL course vlogs, I have learned a few things. 1. Be Zen like on the course. 2. Never get upset at errand shot. And 3. Never fix a divot. ;)

I really like how Bandon Dunes courses resemble the British Isles well from the course design, but also from the weather due to the Pacific Ocean. Cloudy, windy at times, and it may clear up with sun drying out the greens changing the game a bit.
I just played pacific for my first time today. Got back to the hotel room, and immediately came to watch this just so I could relive my amazing experience.
