i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@King Logan i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wonderful video - love the shots with the mist over the holes with the ghost trees. Having it narrated by Bill Coore is a special treat. One more for the bucket list - this one and it's brothers.
troyundroy1 no sand on this course and not needed. It Plays tough with thorny gorse bush of Scotland and wind. Insane! The other courses at Bandon have the pothole type sand traps, you have hit out of the back side to get out. Again, Insane but absolutely fantastic!
Sheep plays difficult with winds around 25-35 mph although it’s built to score and to have fun. If you make a trip I suggest to end with this round you will play your best leaving on a high with experience at more technically difficult courses at the beginning of your stay.
I've never heard Bill Coore's voice before. What a partner for Ben Crenshaw. His voice sounds like Dave Marr, the narrator of the video for Harvey Penick's little green book. Very fitting.
It’s a really good course but no where near the best at Bandon. There’s some great holes like 1, 6, 11, 15-17, but also some weaker holes like 2, 3, 10, 14. That’s the limitations of the property size though. Very fun course.
I have no idea how you can think any of those holes are weak, to be honest. 10 and 14 have fantastic fairway contours, 2 is a simple yet fun strategy for a short par four, and 3 is a semi blind double green. What’s not to love?
I played this course twice last month, and I go down there twice year every year...This place is green as a new course can get. The fairways were a mess, gorse is literally growing everywhere, even in fairways spots, no idea what primary grasses they are trying to grow on that track. Undoubtedly this will be a favorite for the older golfers. Its short, no elevation changes, the ocean views are constant . Number 17 is a top 10 hole on the entire campus. For me...meh, I believe it needs about 5 years of maturity to make a final assessment. It feels rushed.
As an Oregonian who grew up knowing what the coast looks like, this course is just okay...only a few of the holes would be impressive if on the mainland. Playing here was easily the most disappointing golf experience of my life, especially compared to courses like Trails
Sheep Ranch is basically a muni stuffed into the available land. Sure there are a few very cool holes. However, Chat AI could of done an equal job with that location. Keiser's partner did not want bunkers and was one of his demands developing property. Bunker maintenance and playability an excuse not a reason. Is it beautiful? Yes the Oregon coast is beautiful. Five + clubs of wind is not playable. It is far more windier on this bluff than the rest of Bandon - that says a lot. But, I guess the "Sheep" will come to the ranch and blaa blaa blaa how great. It really isn't it is just a gimmick..... Now Old Mac that is a course...
You say the wind is not playable, but that sounds like an excuse instead of a reason. Not the best course on property, but unique and definitely worth playing.
@@travis5481 All the other courses are great OM being the best in my opinion followed by PD, BD, and BT. I am not a fan of BT, but it is still an amazing course. I would think BT was a close second if it was bermuda greens. Sheep Ranch is a joke.
I can't watch the rerun of the Dan Patrick show today because it says Golf Digest blocked it because of copyright issues. You are lame, this UA-cam channel is Lame and golf without Tiger is boring.
Typical, Tiger didn't make golf what it is today. SNEAD, BAGGER VANCE, CHI CHI, BEN, ARNOLD, SIERIE,( KNOW I MISSPELLED IT) AND THE BEAR JACK. PLUS MANY OTHERS MADE TODAY'S GOLF. With their charities and all that they did and do gave us all the chance to play. They put golf on a global stage long before anyone heard of tiger. You should give respect where it is due. Just my opinion.
I could listen to Bill Coore describing his golf courses all day long. What a wonderful narrator.

@King Logan it worked and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
@Landon Zain You are welcome :)
Coore and Crenshaw never seize to amaze. So much spirit in everything they do.
Ultimately, Coore Crenshaw will go down as the best golf architects of all time
Wowza! Goosebumps watching this. On the bucket list for golf courses for sure. Well done.
Another stunner! That property is the premier golf location in the US, can't wait to return again and play Sheep Ranch.
Pretty much heaven on earth.
@@Weshopwizard Been watching the US Amateur this week and it's not helping my addiction at all! I need to get back out there, stat!! :)

I am so incredibly Jacked to play there in a couple weeks! And so glad I watched this video first. Thank you Bill Coore and thank you Mike Kaiser!
why did this get me choked up
Same, lol. The setting looks absolutely magical. The entire Bandon Dunes resort is definitely on the top of my golf bucket list destinations.
Glad I wasn’t the only one lol
The run of holes 6-11 is particularly special. Looks incredible
No sand traps? Nice!
But some hellish looking grass and brush bunkers!

Again, Insane but absolutely fantastic!
A stunning course. Must be played if your a golfer, certainly bucket list material.
Absolutely beautiful. Will have to add to a laundry list of courses I’d love to play at. Thank you for sharing
The USGA should really consider having a US Open here. This course is awesome!

This looks like one large putting surface. Absolutely breathtaking.

This is truly heaven on earth... spectacular.

Hands down the most amazing course I ever played. I was just there this past week.

Lucky dog !
#bucketlist golf trip
I like 1, 6, 11, 14, 16 and 17 holes. I remember 14 being the widest fairway I’ve ever seen.
Sublime!

I Agree, I'd put it about 5th. And,yes,I have played them all.
Anybody know the music used for this? Or Golf Digest original?
We have the best courses in the world. #Bandon
I had an Uncle who was a sheep farmer. He said he'd been to every hole at sheep ranch too.
come on hahahaha
Wish I didn't see what you did there.
And there is no uncle. You are the sheep farmer, aren't you?
Used to live there on Round lake....

Like that "mid length" 540 yards... beautiful though.

nice
Someday
