I know it's been months, but was just thinking.... a pressure plate below the shoot that drops off the sand for cleaning the polluted water. Shut it off if you have enough to reload it, so the dupes only deliver more when needed, avoiding a huge pile of unreachable sand - or need for micromanagement.
I gotta admit, I love this channel for the intro. I do this weird double fist pump back and forth as I mumble the intro with you. It's just such a punchy channel name! Glad you're back, I missed the way you think about and solve problems!
@@BierTier I also wanted to thank you for never just skipping to a completed build 50 cycles after you cleared the area. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to try and figure out how to set something up, and the channel I'm watching skips from start to finish, without the stages in between, and has left me to figure out how to get the dupes in and out and also the order of how to have them build things. You've become my favorite ONI channel to watch for sure!
That is the greatest praise, thank you! That is a reason why I started making ONI videos, I did not like that approach either when I started learning the game and went to YT for help. Every build has its own difficulties and customizations, even if it is the 50th SPOM you build. That is also the beauty of the game :)
Nope, we are good 😊 Electrolyzers need 1000g/s a piece and the Sieve is processing 5000g/s. So we have 1000g/s extra production for 4 Electrolyzers, we could even build a 5th and we would be fine :)
Save that polluted dirt for pokes for lime time. Unless you're going ot be long term farming hatches, slicksters or shov voles, the lime helps for steel, though as soon as you get niobium it kinda makes steel redundant.
It's better to rush the water planet to mine the lime out. There's enough for 100-200 tons of steel, I don't remember exactly but such a huge amount you won't really need ranching for egg shells to make lime for steel if you go straight for niobium/thermium next... which is the thing to do since those are where the next valuable resources are.
You oughta just save that cold hydrogen until you make cryogenic fuels and just turn the hydrogen into liquid hydrogen, your gonna heat it up just to eventually cool it down. Just feels like a big waste of time and energy.

Haha, that is awesome, best thing I have read in a while 😂
Thank you, I’m glad to be back for sure!

With the SPOM you need a second water sieve as it only processes 5kgs of water. Even so a really interesting build!

@@BierTier of course!
I am still late! But as you said, at least I can stall watch it after! Excited to see more ONI content!
Better late than never ;)
I just binge watched this LP in 2 days and now i've got to wait???? crud :P
24 Episodes in 2 days? Holy cow, that’s a lot 😂 I’m glad you enjoy it though and more is coming soon 😊
@@BierTier you're an awesome engineer and have apparently put a lot of time into ONI
I love your videos, ty for all.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it!
in rocket move top doors by 1 to left and you have 4x4 bedroom there with same plastic bed and 2 masterpieces
You are right, how the hell did I miss that?! Thanks :)
I was wondering what you were gong to do with that empty space.
@@jemsterr My mind was appearently somewhere else when I built that. Happens :D

I knkw this is probably arookie question but what is that light blue colored liquid at 21:08?
That is Ethanol, can be used as fuel for the Petroleum Generator and other shenanigans :)
Ethanol can be used for a cold liquid lock down to something like -110C.
In the spon you can lower the hydrogen pump by one tiles and it will clear the other gas in there faster
love the series
Thanks!

You are correct, I did think of that during my next episode. Didn’t think of that during this episode but caught it in the next during recording 😊
Good content keep it going
Thanks Dan, appreciate it and will do :)
