I'm kinda late to learning cell phones. I've been scared of trying to change the battery but finally seeing you do it I feel better. I have a LG Fiesta from 2017. I've heard what goes bad on a phone is the battery after a certain number of charges. Maybe I'll change the battery instead of getting a new phone right away.
THANK YOU!! I followed you on my LG Stylus Phone- So great for dummies like me you took the time for me. I used one of those little screwdrivers for glasses. About the time you said, "you will hear the little pops"? I heard the little pops! Thanks again for your time: It was really a hassle to get the battery from the USA to my home- I was pretty stressed- You did it! BTW: it was the same for me: That whole 2% thing-? Same of my phone: However, at the Verizon Store, in USA, they sold me a $30 charger. Good for me to return home + just one month!!! Haha. Behind us now.
God bless you sir I had a different issue. Phone overheated went black on the screen didn't want to turn on I felt it vibrate when I tried to turn it on but it had a black screen but then it stop charging did nothing but I noticed it cooled down as expected when left alone but when I charged it again it got warm. Then I tried to take off my phone cover and the back of my phone came off and my battery popped out. I debated putting it back in not wanting to mess up anything so just in case I needed a video to be confident so thanks for that. I'm happy I didn't need a new battery or anything. Though my other phone does have this low battery temperature issue different model a tcl.
Just press your fingernail into the barely discernable gap around the edge of the case and the rear panel will "pop off" just as was shown on this video.
