A lazy person would always find an excuse. You have the internet... and common sense. you can even do deadlifts at home with some 10-20 pound dumbell, squats, push ups and pull ups. All you need, pretty much. And don't eat like a hippo

      goo.gl/nijYBH
That routine is pretty much the only routine you will ever need. The few or so equipment needed, you can make at home.
There's also an app for it, if you don't feel like going through the trouble to figure out the routine on your own: goo.gl/wsh5hp
I don't take supplements. I do this routine about three days a week, fasted cardio everyday (with HIIT on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Drink plenty of water and if you have a couple of not-so-great food days, that's okay. Just make sure you're below your daily caloric allowance. Learn moderation when eating. Look up "hara hachi bu". I'm a little more extreme than most people. I also do a full day fast every couple of weeks, mostly as a mind over body exercise, to help me reaffirm that I'm in control. I know some people who also go on keto every few months for three weeks. I went on keto for one week recently, and the results were pretty amazing. I wasn't miserable the entire time, either. I went onto Diet Doctor and found delicious recipes to cook at home. It was a little more expensive than my normal diet, so that's a minus. People swear it's not expensive, but that's only if you buy the same cheap food items in bulk and eat the same thing for almost every meal. I lost about 3 pounds and went from 11.8% body fat to 10.3%. I wasn't going to the gym as hard as I wanted to, so I'm sure there was potential to maximize on it even more. My wife had similar results (she's a much larger woman). We're gonna try again in February. When it's not the holiday season. I'm no expert or anything, by the way. Just a regular guy who found what worked for him.
      Good luck!

For most people who aren’t doing high intensity sports, or your average joe, intermittent fasting and/or a calorie deficit keto diet would be the easiest way to lose fat. A 5 by 5 program would be the best program for building muscle for beginners in my opinion. You shouldn’t do this for more than a few months but the program is good for building a strong base for future lifting. Also when intermittent fasting, one shouldn’t really do anything too difficult. Light cardio is recommended when your body is in that state.

lift weights! if you can, lower the cardio down to 2x per week, concentrate on 1500 cals of healthy foods per day (if you want a caloric deficit) and just keep lifting! I lost basically no weight during my body transformation but I've replaced so much fat with muscle and my clothes fit so much better. All the best to you :)

I'm glad that the trainer touched on what "skinny fat" is, because that's exactly what these women were. And sooo many other women too, who appear skinny but are actually carrying too much fat. This is why all women should weight lift!! But many don't because they're afraid they'll "bulk up" like a man (which is nearly impossible because of our hormone differences)

John Choi I'm starting easy by eating no candy and pop and other sugary things. I still eat sugar in like white bread and rice but other than that...😂I still eat pizza. After maybe a few months I will get rid of junk food:/

Honestly the secret to any diet is this: You can eat ANYTHING you want to but just eat it in smaller portions. Oh, and exercise for at least 30 minutes to an hour for 3-5 times a week. I've been doing that so far about a month and lost 10 pounds haha

but I don't have time to prepare the food like that. It's easier to prepare food in bulk and the easiest way.

FireDjinn Electro having someone to answer to is helpful though. i used to have a trainer like him and she motivated me so much. Of course i did all the work and ate properly. But it was extremely helpful to have that extra push as well as someone to help me execute the workout properly

How do you even go about getting a trainer? I always feel super awkward going to the gym just by myself, not to mention asking for a trainer

emily moran personal trainers are a waste of money. educate yourself online with some basic nutrition, and look into buying a good program. Kinobody has some ok beginner stuff, and he has videos that will teach you movements. Not the best way of doing things but its not too hard to follow.

You will always have a roll of skin on your abdomen when you sit because otherwise you skin would tear when you stand up! Don't make yourself feel bad about it!!!

I don't have a roll of "skin" when I sit, and my skin doesn't tear when I stand up.

    • @ladynoluck
      @ladynoluck 7 років тому +63

mugdays When you sit up perfectly straight, no, you don't necessarily have a roll/s. If you have very little fat and sit up straight or slouch/bend forward a little, no, you may not have a roll/s.
However, people with an average level of fat will have a roll/rolls when they sit and especially when slouching and bending forward. People with lower levels of fat will typically have a roll, even a miniscule one when sitting and bending forward, such as when they touch their toes. Your skin is elastic, but not perfectly elastic, so rolls are normal. Those after notable weight loss or pregnancy can also have skin rolls from when their skin needed to be more elastic, but, without the extra fat/baby, they can sometimes be left with empty skin rolls.
If you don't have rolls, good for you! I'm on the other extreme where I don't necessary have a lot of body fat, but I do have stretchy, empty skin rolls when I sit because of a disorder that affects elasticity.
However, most people have rolls when they sit or bend because their body has a little extra skin to accommodate any possible movement or twist of their body. If people bend backwards, they can have rolls on their back for the same reason.
      Thanks for the comment!
