Boxing is like dancing. It leaves you breathless and grinning. Being able to hear the impact of your punch and hear the air in your face from dodging opposing punches is amazing. I love boxing and I would totally recommend it. ❤
The thing is I do both dancing and boxing and they're actually pretty similar. And even though boxing is my absolute passion I feel like dancing is a good foundation to start boxing😊

@@Gobbygoblin It honestly depends on how well trained you are in your foot work and stamina. Like heavy weights get tired faster, but when they got footwork like Mayweather they are able to last much longer, and fight smarter. Plus you gotta eat that protein to help repair and build your muscles.

This is cool. I’ve been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai for almost 8 months and it’s true, you see and feel your body change, you feel stronger, more confident and empowered. If you stick with it and have a good gym it really can become addicting and multiple classes a day doesn’t seem intimidating at all.
Rachel Ora BJJ is an amazing sport, it should be taught in schools, it is a physical and mental work out. I've been doing it 2 months and my core strength has improved so much.
My overall fitness is good, I don’t smoke or do drugs, hardly drink, eat healthy and have always been active so I was in relatively good shape when I started. I’m definitely tired and sweaty after training but I focus on my technique and use leverage in jiu jitsu, it doesn’t require the explosive energy and strength like Muay Thai does. Plus, I take measures to use preventative care, check in with doctors when I get injured, train around injuries and listen to my coaches. I usually do 2-3 classes a day, 6 days a week

As someone who has been doing boxing for a year now i can tell you that it changed me in the sense that I’m so much more disciplined now, about working out and about my food, I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been not only physically but mentally too 👀🙌🏼💅🏼

brendamaltez 21 Easy way easier than boxing. I had to run 5 miles everyday for cross country and 10 miles on Friday's which was hell but boxing was way worse considering we had to do push-ups 20 minutes straight and 4 miles everyday and way much more
I started boxing about a month and a half ago and I love it. The workouts are so intense and sometimes I really hate it but after each workout I am basically screaming at the top of my lungs and having the best time. It's so empowering and incredibly fun.
Kickboxing helped my confidence so immensely it’s crazy. Learning a martial art is life changing and have th knowledge to defend yourself is very under rated in life and even just a month of training can change your life.
Im only 13 and I used to do boxing when I was 10 it was cool. I loved it and I felt a lot more strong. had to work out 3 hours every time I went to the gym and fought for 10 minutes. I loved so much.

Number 2, don't be afraid to ask for help or pointers regarding technique, skill etc because if you're at a good gym everyone should be willing to help. Number 3, don't be afraid to get hit cause all that's gonna do is limit your abilities

You are sparring with someone, not sparring against or fighting against. 7. You need to focus on your defense and footwork, offense comes with time. Ask your partners to go offensive on you so they can work on their offense whilst you can work on your defense.
I have to say I've rewatched this video a few times, but as a female boxer it's really hitting me how much I miss my gym right now, but mostly its just reminding me of how much I love boxing and how I came to fall in love with this sport, which is a big cheer up right now, thanks ladies :)

How about trying to train as Cross Country runners for a month ?? It'll be nice for them to see what us as cross country runners do ,and even runners in general. :)
brendamaltez 21 Easy way easier than boxing. I had to run 5 miles everyday for cross country and 10 miles on Friday's which was hell but boxing was way worse considering we had to do push-ups 20 minutes straight and 4 miles everyday and way much more

In boxing u also run at least a couple miles a day

I started boxing about a month and a half ago and I love it. The workouts are so intense and sometimes I really hate it but after each workout I am basically screaming at the top of my lungs and having the best time. It's so empowering and incredibly fun.
I love the fitness videos, they give me hope even though I will probably never do anything like this.

Kickboxing helped my confidence so immensely it’s crazy. Learning a martial art is life changing and have th knowledge to defend yourself is very under rated in life and even just a month of training can change your life.
Im only 13 and I used to do boxing when I was 10 it was cool. I loved it and I felt a lot more strong. had to work out 3 hours every time I went to the gym and fought for 10 minutes. I loved so much.

@@megan.palmaa9119 Cause you're just starting, number 1, LISTEN to everything your coaches tell you regarding technique. Number 2, don't be afraid to ask for help or pointers regarding technique, skill etc because if you're at a good gym everyone should be willing to help. Number 3, don't be afraid to get hit cause all that's gonna do is limit your abilities

5. Also when sparring focus on technique not how hard you can punch.
6. You are sparring with someone, not sparring against or fighting against.
7. You need to focus on your defense and footwork, offense comes with time. Ask your partners to go offensive on you so they can work on their offense whilst you can work on your defense.

I have to say I've rewatched this video a few times, but as a female boxer it's really hitting me how much I miss my gym right now, but mostly its just reminding me of how much I love boxing and how I came to fall in love with this sport, which is a big cheer up right now, thanks ladies :)
