    I have very flat feet,, my left foot pronates more and makes my left hip lower. In my 20s I had a physical therapist tell me that one leg was longer! It took me nearly a decade to learn that it was my left foot causing the imbalance. In my youth I was a sprinter and long jumper. I experienced shin splints. In my 30s and 40s working in a busy hospital and also doing Jazzercise flared up my shin splint and caused plantar fasciitis. I finally had orthotics made for my shoes which helped in the short term. I'm concerned they are making my feet lazy and in turn will cause me balance issues as I continue to age. I'll be 51 this May.

    I'm 16 my dream is to be a pro footballer and I've had three knee surgeries I've gotten through all of them but I've had shin splints off and on through the last year I'm praying this will work for me but my main question I really hope you answer is how often should I do these exercises and should I start increasing reps/resistance over time? Sorry if you already answered this in the video I'm terrible at noticing those things sometimes. But, I have taken a toll mentally you can imagine how I was mentally affected from tearing my acl when I was 14 and going on to have 2 other surgeries because of the acl surgery probably being out for a total of about 13 or 14 months for the past 2-3 years not able to play football when it's the only I want to do it would mean a lot if I could finally rid my body from these shin splints. I feel like I'm so close but these shin splints are so demoralizing right now. I know I went on about unnecessary things😅 Thank you.

      @@xtr4me_abu185 to be honest my shin splints got better by me taking a break, in my off season is just layed off and only trained some days my claves would be sore for days and I would have to wait it out, I had went through my entire high school season with the pain of them the best way is to rest imo

    I have a question, should I do these after my soccer practice or before my soccer practice?

    • @sincerely_solvency1836
      @sincerely_solvency1836 2 роки тому +1

      I know this is late but I would do these as soon as you wake up or close to the time you wake up if you have enough time.

    • @gallardo7813
      @gallardo7813 2 роки тому +1

      @@sincerely_solvency1836 are they best in the morning or is there any particle reason?

    • @sincerely_solvency1836
      @sincerely_solvency1836 2 роки тому +1

      @@gallardo7813 I don't know if there's a scientific reason for this but if you do this when you wake up it's likely that your shins won't be in or as much pain as if you did them after walking/moving for hours. If you can do these while your shins aren't as tender you can do more reps/sets without negative consequences and you'll be able to prevent pain during the day since your shins would be stronger, that's my logic, hopefully it helps.
